Baby got stuck and SiL ended up with 3rd degree tear and then had bleeding and needed transfusion last night.
She is amazingly OK. I called into the hospital this afternoon with DD and SIl looked tired and pale but was chirpy. Is very uncomfortable but up and in chair. Baby is just beautiful- shock of dark hair and very cute (bit bashed at the minute but will be fine).

duckyisback · 10/05/2017 07:27

How's the scar healing cupcake?

Sunny I do love a bit of tv time alone!!

Congratulations to sil lulu! Did something go wrong? When I had ds we both got infections so we had to stay in a few days. Drove me insane.

LuluJakey1 · 09/05/2017 21:17

SIL had a baby girl this morning. It was quite a difficult birth but she is just beautiful and SIL is ok. Still in hospital. BIL has been very emotional, he said he was scared. Anyway, they are all fine. We have not been in yet. She is likely to be home on Friday- they are keeping her in for an extra couple of days. Phew!

LuluJakey1 · 06/05/2017 21:06

I don't know how you cope Cupcake. You must be a really good organiser and keep on top of it all. I am hopeless at the minute but am getting into a routine. If DH wasn't so good at doing anything and everything Ds would probably not get to nursery half the time- not clean, fed and dressed anyway.

LuluJakey1 · 06/05/2017 21:03

DS was nice to DD today. He sat on the sofa and held her - with DH closely supervising Grin Then he gave her his meerkat grub in her chair with her. However, he did also take her bottle which DH has put on the coffee table while he took her to get a bib, when he went back DS had the bottle and was sitting drinkng it. She has started smiling now which DS likes. He soon got bored with her though and wanted to go in the garden.
He has a liitle strip of garden to plant things in and he and DH have planted some sedums- which are almost indestructible and are star shapes- and two sunflowers and have made a pebble garden round them. He waters then with a tiny watering can and we water them properly when he has gone to bed. He is very pleased with himself. DH does the digging really and DS 'helps'. We are going to get him a tomato plant to grow.

sunny825 · 04/05/2017 23:00

PS hope ds2 head is ok cupcake

sunny825 · 04/05/2017 23:00

Kids do the funniest things don't they. Wont be long before he is telling her off for touching his toys.
Teething ducky gosh I don't envy you. Teething sucks.
Cupcake ds3 is 16 months now. He's got his own little personality. I think he is going to rule the roost lol He has the older two wrapped around his finger already.
I'm really glad to hear you're feeling much better with your anti depressants. Makes a great difference to your quality of life I'm sure. Glad to see you have your mum helping you. It's nice when you have that time to just do your own thing. My dh went out tonight so once I put the kids to bed I just had a lovely time relaxing and watching a bit of TV. It was great.
How are you feeling now Lulu? You were saying you were feeling down a few weeks back. Hope you're feeling better x

Cupcake92 · 02/05/2017 11:47

Hello!
Sounds weird but I've been on my antidepressants nearly 2 months now and I feel great! Grin I am in shock how well I'm handling 3 children ! My DM looked after them all last week while I met my friend for a meal out and she said she was exhausted (I was gone 3 hours) and called me super mum. Grin she said she can't understand how I cope on my own. I honestly think the antidepressants help a lot Grin

Lulu, bless ur ds! It's hard for them having a new baby but he'll get used to her in the end :)
My ds1 and 2 fight a lot atm, don't know if I mentioned it but ds1 pushed ds2 and he hit his head and it split open and had to take him to hospital! He was okay tho and ds1 ended up feeling so bad n was so nice to him for a good week after!

Sunny how old is ur ds3 again?

Ducky I hate teething and do not envy u right now! :(

duckyisback · 29/04/2017 10:53

How was ds first day at nursery lulu? My ds starts pre school in a couple of weeks and I'm terrified! I'm going to have a meltdown I think!

Dd is teething now and I am exhausted!

LuluJakey1 · 27/04/2017 22:44

I had forgotten how babies just want attention when they want it and can't do anything at all. DS can do things now and it makes a difference. But having to be at DD's every whim and manage him - he's off like a shot if you take your eye off him- is hard.
He is funny with her. Today I was giving her a bottle and he was watching. She finished and I was rubbing her back and she was scowling with wind. She burped and he laughed loudly and she was a bit startled and started to cry. He put his hands over his ears and hid his head in a cushion.

sunny825 · 27/04/2017 20:18

Aaw they say the funniest things don't they. Ds3 is coming into his own personality now, strutting around the house like the head honcho. He has started to say a few words too and it sounds so cute. How are you finding it with a toddler and baby? I promise it does get easier when baby is a little older.

LuluJakey1 · 27/04/2017 18:40

He just doesn't like her crying. I think he was saying to put her in there while we went for a walk Grin

sunny825 · 26/04/2017 22:34

Ha ha. What did he think was going to happen to her in the washer? Would definitely stop her crying. I think at that age they are a bit confused about the changes but they soon adapt.

LuluJakey1 · 26/04/2017 19:55

He is not very interested in her really. MIL asked him if he is being a big brother and he said 'No'
Today DD was crying when we were getting ready to go for a walk and he said 'Put her there mummy' and pointed to the washer Shock

sunny825 · 26/04/2017 12:03

Lol it is non stop isn't it! So nice to have a couple of minutes to yourself, if you can get them. Just wait til you throw work into the mix! Great when you see the kids interacting in a few months when she stops just feeding and nappy changes. DS will love it.

LuluJakey1 · 25/04/2017 22:50

DD not sleeping the way DS did. She is fed about 11, sleeps until half1 or 2, is fed again and sleeps until about half 5. I do the 2 feed and DH gets up for work and does the half 5 feed. He drops DS off at nursery on his way to work at 8 and DD and I get up about half 8. By the time she is fed, washed and dressed and asleep again and I am washed and dressed and done my hair it is about 10. I do some tidying up, ironing, cleaning and she is awake and ready for another feed and then we pick DS up and me and DS have our lunch. Then it is walk time and we do a bit of shopping in the village and when we get back she has a feed and DS has a play and we all have a little sleep. Then I make tea ready for DH coming home. I have turned into a 1950s housewife. I am knackered as well.

LuluJakey1 · 21/04/2017 09:19

DH was getting DS ready to take him to nursery this morning while I fed DD.

DS - mummy come too
Me - I can't come DS, DD is having her breakfast.
DS - (shakes his head) - norty Nana. (how her says her name)

sunny825 · 18/04/2017 20:13

Oh Cupcake i hope your scar heals quickly, must be really hard dealing with that stress and the kids.
Lulu i think it takes a while for hormones to settle and you do get the baby blue s while everything is settling down.
Ducky enjoy every minute of it. Life is for living and take this opportunity to be happy. I agree with Lulu that you should ignore what ex is doing with his new gf as it will only upset you

LuluJakey1 · 18/04/2017 19:06

I think you are both right about my hormones. I had a chat with the midwife today and she thought that and the backache are related to giving birth.

DH has been at work all day doing revision classes. It was my first day on my own with DD. DH dropped DS off at nursery. I saw the midwife this morning, took DD out for a long walk on the sea front this afternoon and then we both had a sleep.

Cupcake - how long will it take to close up? How big is the hole?

Ducky- there are nice men, try just to enjoy him being one. Smile You do deserve it. Stop yourself looking at STBXH's Facebook and the girlfriend's. Not worth a minute of your time.

duckyisback · 18/04/2017 16:16

I agree lulu probably your hormones are still all over the place. Are you getting out ok with the two of them? Does ds go in the push chair or walk himself?

That's rubbish about the scar cupcake! Surely they can do something! Are you happy with the school you have been offered?

My new man is absolutely amazing, but it all feels so crazy to me. I'm not used to someone being like this to me so I feel sometimes I try and push him away Confused but he comes bouncing straight back Grin but I am a bit worried about how I keep feeling I don't deserve it Confused

Divorce is still ongoing. Haven't heard of stbxh in 3 weeks. But he has finally got himself a solicitor. I'm permanently worried about him going for more access with the kids. It's making me quite ill with all the worry. As he refused to sell the house I had to pay court fees to send it to court to decide, I got a court date through but it isn't until July Sad seems so unfair that he's dictating this all and he gets to just sit in the house until then. The last time I saw him he said he wouldn't pay £4 for ds to have some good as he can't afford it and just after his girlfriend was posting pictures of all this jewellery he had brought her Hmm then he took her out too Hmm

Cupcake92 · 18/04/2017 08:19

Aww sounds like ur all settling well lulu! It may just be ur hormones making u feel anxious like that, hopefully it'll settle down soon.

Ducky How's the new man? Hope things are going well!

Lulu my scar is still terrible. I'm still having it packed, and I'm on antibiotics again as it got infected again. I'm so fed up with it :( it just wont heal! It's awful having a gaping hole there! I've had to change the dressing and pack it myself this weekend as doctors being closed on the bank holidays.

Found out about ds1's school today! He didn't get his first choice so won't be going to the school literally opposite my road Hmm

LuluJakey1 · 17/04/2017 22:15

I've been really anxious and down for the last few days. I am trying to ignore it and just get fresh air, go for walks and make sure I have some rest but I keep thinking about Trump and North Korea and it ending up as a world war or nuclear war and us having brought DS and DD into that world. What will their future be like? And so on. DH has been telling me why it won't happen or what might happen instead but it has really got to me.

How is the new man Ducky? Is your divorce sorted now?

How is your scar doing Cupcake? I have a sore back- just pulled a muscle I think. It has been a bit better today.

LuluJakey1 · 17/04/2017 21:58

DS is not very interested in her. He does not like her crying or taking so long to feed. DH was encouraging him to give her a kiss today but he said 'No' very firmly and wandered off. Grin He will stroke her head and sat next to her on the sofa for about 30 seconds for a photo for FIL. She is too little really for him to be able to interact with her. He gave her his car but she didn't do anything and he got fed up with that.

She was awake for over 2 hours in the middle of the night last nIght. Everytime I put her down she cried and stopped when I picked her up. DH took her and sat at the window in a chair, wrapped her up and settled her but it took him over an hour.

DS calls her 'Nana' Confused

duckyisback · 17/04/2017 20:57

That's a lovely name! And sleeping so well already! How is ds being with her?

LuluJakey1 · 13/04/2017 12:37

Anna Elisabeth. DH won't take his paternity leave until the exams are over Ducky - July - and will only take a week because there will be too much to do at the end of term. But he's got almost 2 weeks holiday now so it's Ok - although he is going in to do revision classes for three days next week.

She only woke twice last night for a feed and went back to sleep after so that was better. PIL are comng to meet her this afternoon .
