I just drifted off and heard lots of banging. I think he was trying to hang himself. All the curtain poles have been pulled down and he had a rope in his hands. He told me to get away from him and went out and drove off.

I called the police, they didn't care about the knives etc, they arrested him for drink driving. He tried to get away from them and they smashed his car windows. He'll be really angry.

I'm now very scared as they don't have to let me know when he's released.

LuluJakey1 · 25/02/2016 23:48

What a plonker! Is he demonstrating his inner caveman or something? Does he think he will be winning you over with that behaviour? I imagine this has now convinced you absolutely that you have made the right decision.

Let him get on with it Ducky and don't give in. Just be calm and normal and don't rise to any if it. Don't be intimidated, it is all a bit pathetic really. If you ring the police they will remove him from the house over the knife stuff.

Can you just leave tomorrow? Or not yet. How long will it be before you can? I would be tempted just to go and take DS and the dog while he was at work. even if you had to stay at your grandad's or your mum's for a couple of weeks.

Did you see the solicitor?

zombiemeow · 25/02/2016 20:03

He's saying he wants everything signed over to him. He's saying he will keep my dog, then he won't, then he will.

I'm currently sat in ds room infront of the door. He's slammed the knifes into the kitchen work surface and ruined it

LuluJakey1 · 25/02/2016 19:18

What has happened Ducky?

zombiemeow · 25/02/2016 15:13

Well it's over between me and h.

He's not making things easy.

This sucks.

zombiemeow · 25/02/2016 12:05

I think I just ended it Sad why do I feel so shit. I'm sat here in tears. He keeps texting me telling me that me and ds are his whole life and he loves me.

zombiemeow · 25/02/2016 06:29

Haha ahh ds GrinGrin I can't believe the cost of their shoes Shock

No news on the house yet. I was meant to speak to the solicitor this weekend but it's changed to next weekend now.

But last night h asked me if I loved him and I told him I didn't. I feel awful, he was upset but I can't just lie. Now he's trying really hard but I feel like it's too little far too late. I really feel awful now though Sad

Cupcake92 · 24/02/2016 20:59

Any news about the house ducky?
And when do u speak to ur solicitor?

Got DS2 to wear his new shoes to nursery today and I asked him if he was going to show his friends his new shoes and he said 'nooooooo don't like shoes'
Haha Grin

Cupcake92 · 23/02/2016 22:34

I've felt ridiculously tired today for some reason!

Went and got DS new shoes today and he won't wear them Hmm
Oh and he's still awake and won't go to sleep :(

DS2 has been fast asleep since 9pm :)

Hope everyone's okay!

LuluJakey1 · 22/02/2016 22:54

We have had a very busy day today where DS has been busy all by himself, very intent on playing with his bricks and shapes and xylophone and I have been in his way. Hmm Then we went for a walk and went onto the beach and he toddled ahead of me exploring.

I was cramping his style I think- until he got tired and became a limpet.

zombiemeow · 22/02/2016 21:04

How very strange cupcake! Despite being ill and not napping, ds has been in a fab mood all day! His temp is normal now but he's had snot dribbling out his nose all day he wiped it on me when we were in bed at 4 this morning

Cupcake92 · 22/02/2016 20:08

No ducky I've not tried Ashton's and parsons I've tried the teetha granuals but they make him heave Confused

A lot of men threaten with custody but they 99% of the time never go ahead with it.

DS1 has been so good today! He's been such a polite little boy! He's been hugging and kissing his little brother and wiping dribble off his chin Grin he had a tantrum and threw his crisps on the floor then suddenly he started picking them up and came up to me hugged me and said 'sorry mummy' Shock can't believe it!

OP posts:
zombiemeow · 21/02/2016 20:09

Oh no poor ds2! Thats early isn't it! What have you tried so far? Have you tried Ashton's and parsons? It's meant to be really good but ds can't have it because of his allergies.

I hope I get the house too. We had an argument last night and I kept thinking, I can't wait to be with just ds. Then some times he can be really ok, and I think am I making the right decision but I know I can't go on like this. We haven't even kissed (as in just a peck) in 7/8 months and as for a proper kiss, it must be years.

I briefly spoke to the solicitor the other day and said I was worried if he went for custody of them giving 50/50. She said a lot of people do this recently but if it comes to it we will fight for full custody and it should work out. I very much doubt he will go for that as I will tell him he can see ds when he wants. I will not stop that happening.

Cupcake92 · 21/02/2016 19:59

Oh that sounds yummy Lulu!
Yes there's heating and hot water but I have to reset the boiler every time I want heating or hot water so it's a bit of a faff.

Oh no ducky :( ur poor DS too!
Hows he been today?
DS2 has been awful today! Keeps crying and just won't settle :( it's so not like him.
He's dribbling so so much and is soaking his clothes! No amount of teething remedy is helping him :( poor baby.
Good news about the solicitor. I hope u manage to get the house tho ducky, keeping my fingers crossed for u

Snap with the temp cupcake Sad ds didn't sleep last night, got him down for a kip this morning and he woke up screaming the place down and was boiling hot, I stripped him off and he had a temp of 38.9 Sad he kept sneezing. I gave him calpol and left him starkers for a bit he weed on the floor about 6 times and did one poo Hmm and it's gone down a bit now.

Not heard about the house yet, they said they have been overloaded there so haven't had chance to look into it (it's through a friend) so I didn't want to keep on at them. But..... I have a meeting booked with a solicitor next week to find our everything I need to know and will go forward from there.

LuluJakey1 · 21/02/2016 08:33

DH cooked a cheese and onion pasta bake with a green salad and french dressing. It was yummy- gruyere, chedder and parmesan with a crunchy breadcrumbs topping. Fresh fruit salad afterwards - that was the healthy bit Grin DS woke up and had some fruit salad and sat at the table with us for a bit playing with fruit in the tray on his high chair and after a bit of wailing went back to sleep.

I have had indigestion through the night Hmm

The landlord is wasting his money getting a boiler repaired if it needs replacing. Have you no heating or hot water?

Hope you got some sleep Cupcake.

Cupcake92 · 21/02/2016 02:58

Looks like u have an explorer Lulu! Grin

It's being very temperamental the boiler. It's not an old property it's fairly new. About 9 years old. But the boiler is just cheap and awful.

What did DH cook Lulu?

How are u and DS ducky? Heard anything about the house?

DS2 has woke up with a high temp of 38.5 :( he's coughing quite bad. Think I'm in for a long night as DS1 has just woke up also Sad

Well we now have childproof catches on cupboard doors after finding DS helping himself to dried cat food - which the cats have very occasionally and is kept in a container. He had pulled the container and got the lid loose somehow.

He moved onto the dresser doors in the dining room but they have a catch so he couldn't open them.

How is the boiler Cupcake? Is it an old house or newish?

Ours will probably need replacing in the next couple of years. I think new ones cost a fortune.

DH is cooking tonight. I am sitting with a glass of elderflower sparkling water and a bowl of kettle chips watching 'Hoarders' and feeling better about my housekeeping.

Cupcake92 · 20/02/2016 08:04

Haha Lulu ur DH never fails to make me laugh Grin

Oh ducky I gave up potty training Grin going to try in the summer i think.
And yes I've told the landlord but he just keeps getting someone to come out to patch it up.

I did so much washing yesterday ! I hate washing Grin

My ds tries to climb out his cot, luckily he can't manage it just yet! But I'd be very worried about him in a bed, he'd definitely get out of that.

That's mad about the boiler cupcake Angry have you told your landlord?

How's ds1 potty training going?

LuluJakey1 · 18/02/2016 22:37

DS has not tried to climb out yet- well that we know about. He quite likes his cot. If he wakes up he often just plays and talks to himself for a bit. His cot has quite high sides. I am hoping he is settled in it for a while yet. The thought of him wandering round in the middle of the night isn't a good one.

DH and I are in bed and we were cuddled up talking. I said 'You hardly ever say anything romantic' and he said He said 'Why is your skin all scabby?' I have little scratches on my arms and legs from one of our cats having a mad half hour and running over me. Who says romance is dead! He has gone to sleep and I am on my ipad.

Cupcake92 · 18/02/2016 21:04

No not a new boiler :( and it's already broke down again! Landlord seriously needs to replace it!!

Oo I love fajitas! Yum yum !

Me and DS has slow cooked lamb and vegetable curry :)

Lulu, I'm hoping the tablets will work well for me too. I go back to the gp for a review in a few weeks.
As for the bed, DS had his cot side off when he was 1 as he tried to climb out and then went in a bed at 1 and a half.
He was ready for it tho.

I didn't make them in the end lulu, I got quorn chicken things to do them with but they had milk in so ds wouldn't have been able to have them. He has beans on toast instead Smile

I would love to go on a beach, what's the weather like you now? It's very cold here.

LuluJakey1 · 18/02/2016 20:19

What were your fajitas like Ducky? I love fajitas. Might make some this weekend now you've reminded me. Smile

LuluJakey1 · 18/02/2016 20:16

Well we are back home. DH took DS out this afternoon and has worn him out on the beach. He was asleep by 7 tonight- flat out. I've bought him some new bedding - it's blue and white seersucker and very cute. It was on offer so he got two sets.

When do they go into a bed? I don't think he is anywhere near that yet but just wondering.

I've had those tablets Cupcake - they worked really well once they got the doseage right. I needed 150mg- it took a while.
