I thought I put this on here but it must not have sent, I had to go behind a curtain to take my clothes off/put them on after the scan. Ds didn't think I needed a curtain and wasn't happy he wasn't behind it with me. There were a few people in the room and he opened the curtain just as I was putting my undies on everyone got an eye full!

Did you sort your prescription cupcake? Shame about the house, let's hope another one comes through for you. Have you heard anything about the job? Fingers crossed for you!

Went for the free scan today... Had to have an internal as baby's bum was on my cervix and she wouldn't budge! Definitely a girl

DS has learned to say horse. It comes out as ossies. He was fascinated by
Trooping the Colour on TV .

I'm pleased but I also have really weird feelings about it. I don't know how to explain it but I kind of feel guilty.

It was really good, the people there are so lovely, they said they couldn't get the best shot of her bits but are 99% sure, but just to be thorough I can go back next week for another scan for free

I have put on so much weight already I actually don't know what to do

I think I was about 18/19 weeks when I felt DS move Ducky- I wasn't sure what it was at first.

We have booked our holiday in France. Going to a house owned by friends of PIL for a mnths. Near the coast in south-west France. We went there on honeymoon and have been a couple of times. It has a pool. Can't wait.

Typical of exh, I find most men I know are like that, for some reason they just can't cope.

I will be 16 weeks on Thursday. It's just worrying as I know I was definitely feeling ds move quite a bit at 16 weeks, I even had the midwife out at 17 weeks as I thought he had stopped moving when did you feel ds1 move? Was it earlier than 20 weeks?

Ahh how lovely a dead rat present we got a cat a few weeks ago, she's pure evil but she gets on with ds and he loves her.

No movement at all yet which is starting to really worry me as I would have thought I would have had something by now.

Have my private scan Thursday so hopefully it will reassure me.

We are fine Ducky. He has not been to work-which has done him good. We have had a nice time and DS has loved it.

We had had a couple of funny weeks with sex as well tbh. I had felt completely uninterested when we dtd- not like us at all. But we are all back to normal now.

One of the cats came home with a large dead rat this morning and dropped it on the kitchen floor next to her food bowl. We were both scared to pick it up incase it sprang into life. I had a brush and DH had a shovel and we manoevered onto the shovel and he put it in the bin- which was emptied today thank goodness.

How are you feeling this week? Any feelings of baby moving yet?

Glad you pair are friends again. And dh needs to get back to normal so we can hear about the crazy things he does again!!!

Thanks Ducky. I haven't talked to anyone except here to you and Cupcake. I don't want to talk to SIL, although she would totally get it because she knows him well.

Typical DH. This morning he came into the spare room about half 4 and said could we talk. Same old stuff- loves me, loves DS, most important things in the world to him, never wants to be without us, is sorry, can see it now I have told him, does not mean it to happen etc etc. Got tearful, feels guilty, would never want to hurt us.

I understand all of that but he is driving me mad because I just don't believe he won't slip into the same way of behaving again. It is like that is his 'setting' and he needs re-programming every so often.

Anyway, we have both just calmed down a bit. He got into bed and we had a cuddle and just were close and managed a sleep together for a couple of hours which made us feel more connected again.

Today has been ok. We'll see. Friends but not besties at the moment. On we go.

DH is very subdued tonight. He is marking books. DS has been taking him toys. He had DS on his knee cuddling him and I could see he was tearful (DH not DS) But there is no point in him promising to change if he just does the same thing again next time he feels stressed. I am not feeling at all sympathetic. He can do this job if he can just get over his need for everyone to think he is wonderful. You can't do a Deputy Head job and have everything go right and everyone like you but he can't take that idea.

DS is in bed and I am going in the bath. He has just asked if I am sleeping in our bed tonight and I said no. He nodded but looked not happy.

I don't know where this is going really. Him doing something romantic won't help Cupcake. He needs to get a grip of his ego and accept he might fail sometimes. I don't know why me and DS have to put up with him bringing all the crap home. There are other ways for him to manage all of this if he can get over himself. Looking all sorry for himself isn't washing. I have told him he has a lot of thinking to do and needs to make some choices about his behaviour- then he can tell me what they are and I'll make my own mind up. He knows he is in the wrong. He is just stubborn and knows I am not liking him much at the minute. Needs to grow up and grow a pair of balls.

Sounds crap lulu. Didn't you do the same, if not very similar? So you would understand the stress. Maybe if his job is affecting his home life to this extent he needs to re think what he's doing! Have you spoke again yet?

Poor ds2 cupcake! How long is he on the anti biotics for? He doesn't sound wheezy at all does he?

He drove home last night and arrived about midnight. I had locked the hall door which meant he could not get in so he had to wake me up by ringing the doorbell which woke DS up too. I was furious. We had a HUGE row - very unlike us, think we have only ever had one before. I just let everything rip at him. He got really defensive and accused me of not understanding how much pressure he is under. I understand - I understand how big his bloody ego is.
I felt strangely calm afterwards and slept in the spare room. He looks shocking this morning and I don't care. I really don't. I am not living with his ego dictating how we live.
Unfortunately, the weather is not good for sailing, very windy looking like a storm and the sea is rough so DS and I can not go on the boat trip. But I am not sitting here with DH. Am taking DS to soft play and out for lunch then for a walk.
DH has still not got it! He needs to get his head round his choices.

Oh no lulu, based on what you have told us about him before this seems very out of character for him? Hope he comes back apologising! Or stays away a little longer! Hope you and ds have a lovely day today, I'm sure you will.

Cupcake, glad to hear the dog is getting on well and her and the cat have put their differences aside . Hope everyone is feeling better soon, me and ds have been ill too. My pregnancy seems to be going very slow to me! Me and h are still getting on, he's still trying but I am feeling fed up again not sure if it's just my hormones or something else

Hello Cupcake, sorry to hear you have all been poorly. How old are DS1 and DS2 now?

I would love a dog but the cats would not stand for it. They are both very picky about people and other animals.

I have just had a row with DH on the phone because I told him me and Ds are going out tomorrow. He was really short and said what about him and he wanted to spend time with us. I said he should have stayed at home this weekend then. He said I was not being fair! I told him to bugger off and stay in Yorkshire. DS and I are going out tomorrow. Grr! Am so fed up with him.
