Just finishing AF and embarking on cycle 2

Come shove 2 fingers to the back of the witch and let's count down to O and POAS psychotically in a few weeks...

I'm going all out this month with SMEP, pressed, EPO, OPKs....

4dpo today mimi - not long now!

Still feeling shit with cough and fever. I don't know what's a pregnancy symptom and what's flu. I'm on annual leave this week which is just frigging typical!! Luckily DH off too so he's been able to look after DD. I dont know how I would have coped otherwise, literally can't get out of bed Sad

dumum hope u are feeling better today. I hate the flu, I have to be in bed at least 2days. Hope the fever is over too.

You might as well have the later scan. Only a week later Smile.l know just how u feel. U just need to hear that heartbeat and make it feel real.

I am tired of being hopeful so I'm trying very hard to not overthink it (easier said than done). Got my fx though haha

Hi minty - hope you're feeling bit more positive now.
No worries - I had a mmc in Jan 2014 but luckily conceived my DD the next month after miscarrying.

mimi - wish I could fast forward time for you but you can start testing in a week!!
I'm ok, I've got flu at the moment and had a fever today so been feeling really down and worried about the effect a fever will have on the baby. I'm such a worrier! I've booked a scan for when I'll be 7+4 but I really wanna bring it forward to 6+4. My DH isn't keen as if there's not a heartbeat we'll end up having to have a scan a week later and this is exactly what happened when we had the miscarriage. The wait was hell! He thinks the later the better as we'll get solid answers. I just want to punch his face in.
We had a scan at 6+4 with my DD and saw a heartbeat.
What dya reckon??

Anyhow, sorry to whinge and moan to you guys. I know youve got your own stresses.
Have you got any feelings about this month, mimi?

Hi dr I think whatever it was has turned into AF Sad been bleeding like a normal AF since Sunday afternoon although I haven't had any other usual AF symptoms like cramps but I wasn't meant to be due on til 18th, making the last cycle 25 days. Still rather Confused! But I did test just in case (with FRER) and it was still bfn. Oh well, onto cycle 3 I go... oh and I have ordered some OPKs. Eeek so envious, 5 weeks Grin

I'm 5 weeks tomorrow but aside from eating loads, not really any symptoms. Hoping it's just a bit early!

Thanks drmum that's really reassuring. No have never bled this early in cycle nor had irregular AFs, always 28/29 days. I think I'm thinking the worst because it's not just brown and going on for the 6th day now, although still intermittent. Which is odd as even my periods never last that long. 4 days, maximum 5! And I have no pains. I shall sit with it and see what happens. Will defo look into getting some OPKs too, have yet to try them. And whilst I'm out I'll get some FRERs too. No more internet shities! Thanks for the reassurance dr. I hope you're right! Hope you're going ok, are you suffering with any sickness yet? glad your DD finally let the shoe lady measure her! They're good in Clarks aren't they, first shoes Smile my mum stil has my first pair, lovely pair of tiny navy patent tbar Clarks specials!

I was the same - brown blood for 3 days, quite heavy day 2 - every time I wiped and small stringy bits in it. It never turned pink/red though. I don't think you should feel out yet! Have you ever bled at this point in your cycle before? Or ever had a short cycle? It just seems too much of a coincidence if your periods are always regular and now you're ttc you get this?!
Also, I've decided Internet cheapies are shit. I was barely getting anything on them until 4 days late, where as the FRER and CB was obviously positive.
Could you try an OPK? If this is positive it points towards a potential bfp too... Mine was positive just before my missed period.... I don't want to get your hopes up but going on my experience, you're not out by a long shot!!

Afternoon ladies. Hope all is well with you. Just popping to update. So something is now happening, am I'm a bit Confused. Blood mixed with brown last night and more this morning, but only on wiping but there seems to be small (sorry tmi) bits in it. AF not due til Friday, what to think? I did poas this morning with an internet cheapie stick and bfn. Although would normally still be too early for bfn anyway id have thought. What are your thoughts? I have had no pains at all and no pre af symptoms like usual, I always get a bad head when she's due and pains. It's not looking good isn't it? Sad

Hey

Having a chilled out one this weekend. Went to get my DD her first pair of shoes today at Clark's. She had a proper tantrum and wouldn't let the woman near her...! Finally managed to distract her to get her size. She's such a madam these days!!
Hope you're all good - mimi - can you pounce on DH post farm visit?!

mrs minty - I spotted from dpo 8-10 and then got bfp on 11th day and spotting disappeared... Maybe this is it for you??? You could test from next tues/wed??

Hi Blink and Mimi, are we the only ones left on here now Dr has her BFP, once again big congrats!! And how weird that her friend is just one day ahead of her! I'm on CD23 and 8DPO, had very very tiny bit of brown spotting so far today (again only on wiping) but am feeling kind of strange. Not ill as in I can't put my finger on anything particular, just strange!

I had it put in at the Dr's three years ago but they don't do it now so I had to go to family planning. The times they gave me were for a walk in which would mean waiting upto six hours.. with a three year old 😮 I said I needed to book an afternoon appointment. They gave me the 24th of march... I booked this in january. Certainly won't be getting the coil again. Feel like they are in charge of my choices.

mrsminty it may be implantation? I had 3 days brown spotting on wiping only and then a bfp last week!! Fx'd, when are you gonna start testing?

mimi I've got a good feeling for you this month!! Fx'd. How long are your cycles?
