Afternoon Drmum, Mimi and Ohno, hope you are all ok.

Eeek Mimi, hoping the pains and nausea are a good sign. Are you CD23 today? Not long until the poas commences! Do keep up updated wont you.

Drmum Hope you are having a better day today. Hows the sickness? Your littlest dd will have a lovely big sis Smile

Ohno whereabouts are you in your cycle?

I'm feeling much better today thank you for your support ladies, the bleeding has almost stopped now as have the cramps. I had god awful back ache on Wednesday last week, so bad that I had DP rubbing Arnica gel on it at 3am and have since read that it was probably a sign of what was about to happen. You learn something new every day! Dp and I both feel happy to continue trying straight away. Although, next time, now I have seen the other side result of these early tests, I shall refrain from poas until AF is very late! well i can try!!

Mimilicious013 · 18/04/2016 08:16

Wow drmum ,you are almost in the 2nd trimester. Sorry for the awful day. Here is hoping it's going to end soon. I dread the sickness too. When is your next scan?

ohno ,you never know hun. You just might be lucky. It only takes dtd once at the right time. Fx

Feeling rather sick today, but it just could be af. The misery of not knowing...grrr

ohnonotanother1 · 17/04/2016 21:36

Hey ladies!

Minty how are you doing now?

Dr mum hope you feel better soon!

Ooh maybe implantation pain mimi, when are you going to test??

All good here - not really expecting any news in month 1 of properly trying and zero symptoms. So confident that it's a no this month that I'm having a smidgeon of port this evening and went in the jacuzzi at the gym earlier. (I would do this in the tww anyway, I'm a big believer in getting on with lift until you've got a bfp because it could take forever and relaxing did it for me last time!)

When I first joined this thread there were lots of reasons - mostly work related - why I didn't want to have a 2016 baby but I've handed my notice in to spend more time with my son so I'm ready to go now. However, feeling ok about the anticipated bfn this month. I'm sure ill be back to being an ogre again next month Blush

DrMum83 · 17/04/2016 20:15

mimi hey, my fingers are crossed for you! When are you gonna start testing? Maybe the 4am pain was implantation??

I'm 9 weeks from scan, 10 weeks if going by LMP... have felt shitty today tbh!
Yes, I hope the gap is ok, my DD will be 22m when dc2 arrives. She's 15m now and not bloody walking yet so carrying her around is a pain!!

Hope minty is ok - thinking of you.

Hie allFlowers.hope you are enjoying the weekend. Woke up at 4am with pain in lower abdomen. Had to take some paracetamol for relief but can still feel some dull pain. Just hoping af stays away. Cd22 of a26 day cycle Sad

Mimilicious013 · 16/04/2016 07:22

Morning ladies
Hope you all slept well .minty hope you are better now.sending some Chocolate your way.

drmum I am fine thanks and you? How far are you now dear? I like the age difference of your dc. You will still be in baby mode Grin.my little dd has become a handful and I can already see her poking the little baby's eyes 😂

I'm on cd21 so less than a week to go. I'm scared to even symptom spot for fear of disappointment Hmm.cross them fingers for me.

ohno how is the tww?

DrMum83 · 15/04/2016 15:40

Hey ohno nice to see you bk! I'm hoping you and Mimi get some good news after your 2wws!

minty sorry you're having to go through this. Glad paracetamol is helping a bit. You definitely deserve wine and chocolate tonight.
As for hanging around- I'd be gutted if you went anywhere!

iwillbemrsminty · 15/04/2016 12:59

Afternoon ladies. Hope you're all ok. hi to ohno I'm not sure if we've met! Lovely to meet you. Fx for you and mimi.

I'm not too bad today thank you. The cramps are still going, but they aren't that bad and paracetamol is helping, tmi alert, bleeding with clots, it's more or less like a nasty period. We've been speaking to NHS 111 as DP been worrying about me so rung for his piece of mind really that it will settle down over next few days. We've accepted what's happened and will be fine. Onwards and upwards. I'm off to have a nice glass of Wine tonight. Oh and definitely some Chocolate.

You are all stars and I thank you again for supporting me and dp through this shit time Thanks I'm hanging around if that's ok and hope to be seeing you on the tww soon! Xxx

Mimilicious013 · 15/04/2016 08:10

Morning ladies
minty how are you today? Hope u slept well hun. All thoughts with youFlowers

Welcome back ohno, the tww is a drag. Fx you are lucky.im in the second week now but suddenly feel cramps like af wants to visit early.

Hie drmum hope today will be a better day with little nausea Smile

ohnonotanother1 · 14/04/2016 22:15

Doing not front! Bloody autocorrect!

ohnonotanother1 · 14/04/2016 22:15

Gah it's taken me weeks to get my password properly sorted and I've missed loads.

Minty - that is truly shit, so sorry. This whole ttc thing is such a roller coaster. Love to you both X

Drmum I can't honestly remember if I ever said congrats??

Mimi how are you front on the tww? I finally had sex at the appropriate time so am fighting thru the tww with you this month. I actually stressed a bit for a while about ovulation - came off the pill sometime after Xmas and assumed I'd ov at the same time I used to before my son, which was about cd 8-10 I think. Have been using opks but for the first couple of months never got a positive but I think I started using them a bit late on in the month, then got a positive really late on a couple of months ago- cd 24 I think, no positives at all last month, so I was a bit worried I wasn't ov/hadn't settled down after coming off the pill. Plus my last af arrived a week earlier than expected. However, two days of nice strong positives yesterday and the day before, and dtd on sat/tue/wed so I think I'm in the game this month?

Good luck everyone and keep us posted x

DrMum83 · 14/04/2016 20:19

Oh minty I'm so so sorry. You must be so devastated. Mother Nature is such a bitch at times. Wish I had something to say to make you feel better but I don't think there is anything. Just rest up, have plenty of hugs with your partner and we're always here if you wanna talk Flowers

Thank you ladies. For being here, you really do help especially with us having not told anyone. The cramps have cranked up a gear but not the bleeding yet. Think I'll stay off work tomorrow, can't face it. It really is shit.

Back to square one. But at least we know we can conceive. I'll be on the tww again soon I hope.

Thanks for you both xx

Mimilicious013 · 14/04/2016 18:32

Ooohh minty I'm so sorry dear. It is sooo heartbreaking. Hugs hun. I apologize for not being available earlier to give you support.

Sending lots of love and hope you and dh will be OK. Flowers

Drmum hope the nausea has subsided and u are feeling better

iwillbemrsminty · 14/04/2016 18:16

Was at work but I'm home now drmum. Didn't want to have to tell DP tonight as he has a gig but as soon as I saw him I he knew something was wrong and I broke down. And then he broke down. It's turned red now so at least we know. Ironic as the book I ordered 'what to expect when you're expecting' has arrived today Sad. Af was 5 days late so I assume this will count as cd1. Gosh, it's cruel isn't it!

DrMum83 · 14/04/2016 17:01

minty oh I'm so sorry. That's shit. You're not on your own are you? Is your DH around?

OP posts:
iwillbemrsminty · 14/04/2016 16:19

I think I would find those pangs of nausea reassuring drmum, are you doing anything to keep them at bay or just riding them out?

Thank you. That's what I've been trying to tell myself, but I've since started with brown spotting and AF type cramping so I feel like this might be the beginning of the end, before it's really begun Sad. I will see how it goes, possibly do another frer if I can be brave enough, but will keep you posted. Currently crying into my keyboard!

DrMum83 · 14/04/2016 14:39

Hey - I'm ok today again had a few pangs of nausea but nothing much. Making me a bit nervous really Sad

My sensible head would say just ignore the cheap tests and try not to think about it, but I know if I was you, I wouldn't be able to not do a frer!! I bet they're just shitty tests, try not to worry too much, esp as you're not bleeding and not having cramps. Poor you, it's just one big worry isn't it?
Let us know what you decide, I'll keep checking back for an update

iwillbemrsminty · 14/04/2016 11:29

Glad to hear you're ok Drmum - any more sickness today?

Mimi still haven't got to the doctors, planned on going last night after work but was stuck in traffic for 45 minutes meaning I missed the surgery.

But ladies am panicking today - whilst dp was at band practice last night, I had to nip to the shops for various things and ended up buying a 2 for £1 hpt and did one last night (yes i had been drinking water etc all day so poss false) and one this morning fmu and both big fat zero, not even a hint of a line. Shock I've had twinges in belly area for a few days, not painful, not even uncomfortable really and all which i had read were normal and now I am meltdown mode. Please, talk me down! Do I get some more frer's? What should I do? I haven't had any bleeding.

DrMum83 · 13/04/2016 20:54

Hi, I'm good thanks. Had some vomiting yesterday but today have felt fine so been panicking... I hate the first tri!
minty I hate those clear blue cross ones too! Glad you're ok. Are you thinking of a reassurance scan?
mimi hey, hope you're ok - are you gonna start testing early next week? I really want you to get a bfp!

Hie minty , l lol at the obsession of poas .i did that too but on ic Smile.did u manage to register?

Well I'm only 4-5 dpo so a long wait. I'm driving myself insane. I went to a baby shop yesterday (can't wait) and almost bought newborn clothes 😂.

drmum what is the latest?

iwillbemrsminty · 13/04/2016 11:57

Hi mimi, everything so far ok here thank you, touches wood yet again

I did cave and do another test on Monday (during my lunch hour and haven't told dp!) but only a clearblue plus (+ or - ones with the blue dye) and what awful tests they are! It was positive but not plainly obvious so I def wont be doing one of those again! Hmm How far dpo are you now? Fingers firmly crossed for you? Have you got a stash of tests for when the poas starts??

waves drmum

Mimilicious013 · 13/04/2016 09:32

Hie lovely ladies, hope everyone is fine.

DrMum83 · 11/04/2016 20:50

mimi - wow you've got a lovely family! Bet you're busy but I always wanted a busy family household! My DD is 15 months.

minty they won't routinely check your bloods - definitely not your pregnancy hormone unfortunately. It's completely understandable to be anxious, just try to be positive and chances are, all will be fine.
Yep, im in the UK, I'm just outside of Birmingham!

OP posts:
iwillbemrsminty · 11/04/2016 14:44

Thank you mimi and drmum you lovely ladies, Flowers you've reassured me nicely Smile I think im just anxious as it's the first time I've been pregnant and I really don't know what to expect... Dp has now banned me from POAS-ing for my own sanity and has also hidden my positives as I kept analysing them!! He said we know what we need to know and that's that! I haven't actually registered with the GPs yet (moved beginning of March) but have got all my forms etc so we are going tonight to formally register and to make an appointment. Will they automatically do bloods or do I need to request them? I am indeed drmum, York to be precise! Are you and mimi in the UK?
