Did it take you long to conceive your other DC? How are you finding TTC? Do you have short cycles? Mine are quite long so it feels like a long time waiting for every stage.

No, not at all. I'm 28, have a DS and this is cycle one for me. We were going to wait a few months but I didn't want to put it off only to find it took a while so we thought we might as well start now. I think I'll know a bit more how I feel about it after my first TWW!

This is cycle 11 hun and I do have dc.how old are you, what cycle and any dc (if u don't mind me asking)

Hi ladies, is there room for another one? I've had a read through your thread and seen that you've been through some difficult times together. So sorry for your MMC DrMum, I can't imagine what you went through with that. Really sorry about your CP too Minty. TTC and being pregnant is so bloody stressful. It's lovely that you're all so supportive of each other. I joined a similar thread when I was TTC last time and it was so helpful, we are all still on a FB group now.

I've just started TTC2. DS is 16 months now. I'm cd20 but I have 32-35 day cycles so I'm in my FW at the minute hopefully. (Conceived DS on day 22 but I was temping then so I knew for sure I'd OVed) I had a tooth infection earlier in the month and had to take painkillers and antibiotics. I don't think they should affect my OV but time will tell. Was really hoping to be less stressed with TTC this time but I'm already finding myself thinking about it more and more!

Any way I hope there's room for me and you're all having a lovely sunny weekend.

I am now CD22 and 8dpo. Driving myself mad symptom spotting! Another week is off to drive me batty! Have got stabby boobs again, I'm very headachey, got the twinges inside and last night, very emotional! DP was in a bad mood (work is getting to him at the moment) and he was quite snappy with me and I felt like I didn't know whether to laugh or cry. When he is all stressy like that it's usually best to just leave him to it so I said to him 'I'll just fuck off to bed then shall I' and he just said 'fair enough', didn't even look up. I went up to bed and had a cry. Then when he came up a bit later, he said he was sorry and he shouldn't be taking it out on me. I laid awake half the night silently crying while he was snoring away next to me. Then this morning I'm fine again and we had a lovely cuddle and chat before getting up for work .

I am resisting testing until at least the 11th. It's a lonnnnnnnng time away! The licking the bowl out story from ohno made me chuckle too and I did exactly the same yesterday. Probably not the best idea especially in the tww but I only had a bit! And it was delicious!! Oh and I had a vodka on Friday night too. In my defence, work is horrid at the minute and I really needed it to unwind. should really find another bloody job

Oh drmum that sounds horrendous, hopefully the bleeding slows down soon. And so lovely to hear your DH is being fabulous! Def not weird to keep the sac etc, I'm a bit squeamish so wouldn't want it flushing but also not sure I'd be strong enough to look for it. And a lovely idea to put it with your mums rose bush.

No news here, I'm ill with a horrendous cold and just want to sleep but my husband has had me doing all sorts of jobs (up ladder and in the loft, not your average housework) and then moaned when I sat down while he struggled to put my son to bed last night. So that ended in a shouting match! Not ideal. My af is very light but seems to be hanging around for ages so haven't started the lead up to the shagathon this month.

My son is one next week, he's having a little party on Saturday. Which also caused friction because I had spent some time "playing with some poxy cake" which is actually my sons first birthday cake.

Ohno l think ttc messes up periods. I had af for only one day. Hope af clears up soon and u get on with dtd. My dh was being an..... but finally came around yesterday so dtd so hopefully 1more time tonight then on to the tww.

Drmum, hope you're feeling good as can be. I'm What a shitty thing to go through. Just woken from a sofa slumber and had to re read to check that I wasn't imagining things about your friend. Flowers or not that was v insensitive of her. I know that to a certain extent you have to suck it up and pregnancy comments will be sore for a while but there's a difference between an incidental comment about the fact she's preg that might sting and then thrusting it upon you and arranging a badly timed announcement. Stay at home and have a party for one with some gin I say! Hopefully the sickness and cramping are subsiding - do you have any idea when you can expect to feel physically more normal?

Minty well done for pouncing! I'm still making the most of af to keep away and sleep upstairs and leave DH snoring on the sofa but am going to have to start being nice to him soon ha ha. I also can't believe you're in the tww already, I know it's only a matter of a few days really but it seems like you're so far ahead of the rest of us.

No real news here. Weird period this month, very light. I vaguely remember that this might be normal for me so I'm hoping this is it and my body has settled down from the pill now. Going to use opks again this month just to verify ov date but I think before it stayed fairly consistent so prob won't use the after this month.

Feeling a bit emotional about the whole ttc thing - 29th was my sons due date last year and is always intended a v small gap between babies but for one reason and another didn't feel ready until now but now I'm regretting the fact there'll be a min of nearly 2 years gap assuming it happens soon. I'm also getting impatient to know what's going on - for really petty reasons eg we've got a wedding in July and I'm thinking of getting my wedding shoes dyed to wear again but if I'm preg there's no way I'll manage the heels. Ridiculous. And the kind of stress that'll only make it take longer!

I'm focusing on trying to lose weight and get thinner and healthier. Made my sons bday cake today and licked the bowl but otherwise been good and went for a swim earlier. Still a bit sore from being told I look preg but had a big sort out today and found so many amazing clothes that don't fit by miles. It's making me so unhappy - I want to be thin or pregnant . Would love to lose 4 stone to get me back to the weight I was when I met DH (size 10-12, now a 14) but 1.5stone would bet me back to pre preg weight and mean I can wear some of the clothes at least. So I'm going to focus on that and try and relax about being preg!

And yes - I will be here until we have babies in our arms. Got a feeling it might take me a while so don't leave me behind
