Symptom spotters, tww - ers, slightly hysterical hormone laden ladies! Regs, lurkers, intermittent posters! Our raison d'etre is 'am I pregnant?' Depending on how much Ovia (Whybird/Ovibitch) has pissed us off/messed with our fw she is either the oracle or a sanctimonious charlatan.

Just a warning, we move FAST! Our threads last on average, about a week before they're full.

Thread 9 , Welcome one and all! Group of weirdos, wee hoarders, covert opk or okp, depending on what your autocorrect decides addicts with a side business in CM management!

We do not judge, we enjoy TMI, we i encourage waiting to poas nobody listens and all the grossness you can find from a group of intelligent, articulate ladies. Fart stories make us laugh, stories about cervical mucus, pooing, cysts and nausea equally welcome.

Post your stats and add your dates. We have a register thanks to kat, I have been dubbed the resident piss stick queen loaaaaaads of bfp'ers who keep us positive! We don't have rules, we love a good symptom spot, we try to stay grounded and not be hysterical sometimes we manage it aswell

We like acronyms, we make some up: PET = Proper expensive test. We love the d(h)...which can of course mean 'dearest' or 'dickhead' why, what were you thinking?

I have to watch this sperm programme - but secretly!! OH is already sick of it. He's like 'do we have to talk about your ovaries every day' I laugh it off but inside I'm thinking 'mate, you have no idea how much I filter out....' he knows nothing of the daily hourly panty check, the boob prodding, the pissing on sticks, the charting, the squinting, the elation of a +ve OPK and the crushing disappointment of being unable to DTD.

I was still drinking in dodgy bars in November, let alone at 21 Miley but I feel much better for my new 4am curfew Smile

Thanks for making me feel like a normal human being everyone - I told them all about that woman (that Ovia told me about) who was 69 and gave birth to a healthy baby

Right, new cycle, new luck (maybe even ovulation :-p).
This cycle I'm going to be a cervix position and CM testing fiend - I have started taking EPO.

Please put me down for testing Feb 24 at the earliest.

How old are you miley?

My mate had a baby earlier this year, age 31 and said she was the youngest in her NCT group too.

fx what! Wow. My midwife meeting was a group session this morning and I was definitely the youngest there actually felt like a naughty teen haha so definitely not. She even mentioned how women are having babies later and later these days Smile at 21 I was still at university and drinking in dodgy bars. Couldn't look after myself never mind a baby

choc I'm the same! I had the worst headache ever yesterday but still refused to take anything!

Thanks guys, I think we've decided to go for an 8 week scan as OH can't wait the extra 4 weeks 😂 I think the scan prints we get will be copied and put into 'grandma' cards (great gran for my grandma)and I'm quite excited.

My brother is getting married in August and I'm supposed to be bridesmaid (fx all goes well and I'll be 7 months by then) already been for dress sizing etc so will have to tell my brother asap too because they're quite formal and fitted there is no way it would accommodate a bump...

Ha, skip, I'm in exactly the same position made worse by Ovia telling me to test today. But no, I will not give in!

Miley, what a great mother's day surprise that will be! We're getting together with both of our families at Easter and I would love to have something to tell them then.

Morning all! I have an urge to test too, even though I have zero symptoms and very little chance of being upduffed. Miley that is a lovely idea, I actually welled up! Found out at the weekend that every one of OHs family members had their babies before they were 21 - they all think we aren't going to bother having kids as we've 'left it so long' Shock

Morning all! I'm feeling good about Feb too. Am CD7, starting fw this week. DH is off to Chicago until Wednesday so coaxed him into DTD this morning just in case an egg cruises by early. He wasn't very impressed and said "I still need to iron a shirt" halfway through. Not very sexy.

miley that's sweet :) our parents and very close friends know already. Just a handful of people but they've all noticed I'm not my usual self and I'm never ever ill so the sickness gave me away. Day 2 of barely there sickness now... could it possibly be passing?! I hope so!

I have a toothache and even though I know I can take paracetamol safely in pregnancy... I really don't want to risk if. I sound like a wet blanket right?!

Morning ladies!
That's so exciting Miley I think when I get my bfp I'll tell my mum pretty much straight away but no one else until later. I think the Mother's Day idea is lovely, what an amazing gift for them.
Cosmo hope your first day back goes well!

I feel pretty good today, symptoms are the same tender boobs/nipples, creamy cm and high cervix. I'm excited/anxious to take a test on Thursday. It's going to be hard to hold out until then but I promise I'll try stark!

How good is it to be out of miserable January btw? Summer is getting closer and hopefully lots of bfps this month!!

Morning guys, how is everyone? Any testers today????

I'm at my booking in appointment with midwife today which I'm so excited for. We've decided to tell mothers on mothers day (i'll be 9 weeks) but no one else until 12.

I'm not sure ether it's because I'm not symptom spotting anymore but other than sore boobs still and getting up at 3 am almost every morning for a wee I'm suffering nothing as of yet.

I'm good thanks Miw. First day back at work for a week so dragging my sorry ass out of bed this morning wasn't easy. I don't really know what that test means. I'd be inclined to repeat on a FRER but those more experienced in hcg testing might have a better explanation.

Sitting on my hands as had a strong urge to test this morning (which strongly correlates with the number of cuddles I got from my friends 1 month old yesterday). Good job I haven't got any test in the house.

How are we all this morning? Have missed loads and loads since yesterday. .
I caved today and did a test.
Now now confused had quite a clear positive on very cheap test.
I looked again five mins later and it has disappeared. That's not good is it?

😁 latin I've been googling 'bubbling sensation above public bone' and all sorts.

Trying to avoid using ttc acronyms or the word uterus in my googles as I've found that googling anything literally anything related to ttc will inevitably produce loads of results with 'I had this and I've just got my bfp' which only serves to fuel my the hysteria. Grin

Ive got weird gas, not actual gas, just like a bubbly feeling in my tummy, not unpleasant though! And where my I'm assuming ovary is, it feels like I've got a pinched nerve! Let's hope it's getting fertilised as I type haha!

Just eaten a giant vat of lentil dhal. Now will be impossible to interpret gassiness as a symptom... not sure if there's a 'lentils not baby' button on Ovia...

Indi ovia tells you to test from 12 dpo (because she's a sadist). I'd always encurage waiting till af day to test. Because I ovulated this weekend, ovia tells me i can test from the 12th Feb, but af isn't due till 21st. But my af can be up to a week late, so it could be as late as the 27th.
