Symptom spotters, tww - ers, slightly hysterical hormone laden ladies! Regs, lurkers, intermittent posters! Our raison d'etre is 'am I pregnant?' Depending on how much Ovia (Whybird/Ovibitch) has pissed us off/messed with our fw she is either the oracle or a sanctimonious charlatan.

Just a warning, we move FAST! Our threads last on average, about a week before they're full.

We like acronyms, we make some up: PET = Proper expensive test. We love the d(h)...which can of course mean 'dearest' or 'dickhead' why, what were you thinking?

Anyone else feeling a bit more settled and a bit less obsessed after falling for AF symptoms in disguise as BFP in Cycle #1? I was almost certain I was and even had roughly formed plans to make my announcements - imagine my shock at BFN and AF finally turning up!!!

Cycle #1 madness! listen to me sound like a wisened lady but watch me do the same again in Cycle #2 when I hit 2WW 😝

kat I think we've been putting too much stock into symptoms, af and baby symptoms are so similar! It's a mind fuck.

snow I know right! I feel like every time we've dtd before and used condoms was like reckless abandonment or something! I felt terrible earlier knowing that carnage was going in in my nethers all weekend!

Yes, Im opk-ing as well as temping. I just don't have a clue with my weird cycles so trying to figure out as much as I can. My problem is I do get a bit obsessive over things. I don't get much cm either, that's why I got rather excited at noticing ewcm on Friday and Saturday, because I've not had it before!

Doesn't help everyone in my family only has to look at a penis and boom! They're pregnant! Whereas me, 5 years of no contraception and not even a sniff of a bfp (admittedly we've only started trying properly since October). Stupid polycystic ovaries.

Stark yes I'm here! I did post earlier today but I work Monday's so don't get much time for dicking around on my phone anything else.
Conference was awesome, amazing lectures and great fun too.
I have not managed to successfully lose a single lb this month. I have 10 to lose. I'm going to have to lose some this month as I'm becoming a whale.
I have pre-AF sore boobs. Other than that I am completely not pregnant (AF due 7th) but Lisa had no symptoms and is snuggling a tiny human in her uterus right now so who knows.

I was gonna say I love sorbet but I like creaminess of ice cream. Haagen Daaz pralines and cream isn't allowed in my house because it calls to me and I can't leave it alone! Yonanas has saved me! 😋

Like a parrot Stark I say temp! It's actually helped me obsess less cos it gives me (and the apps) much clearer info... Plus take temp once in the morning then it's over and done with!

Ps...the yonanas is fab...gives a proper creamy texture... I like sorvet

I think the elusive O is happening, finally. At least I'm cramping! After having nothing at all except ewcm for the last 4 days I was getting worried! We've dtd 3 out of the last 4 nights, might persuade dh to rally the troops tonight too. Hopefully my temp goes up tomorrow to show ovulation. Otherwise what a waste of good swimmers this month! I watched that sperm race program and it's even sadder if I didn't ovulate as a billion or so probably died for nothing! 😱😖

Are you opk-ing pug ? I'm wondering about temping next cycle round. But I know I'll get obsessive about it proof of obsessing is in the okp'sso I'm not sure whether to add in another thing to wonder about. But given my distinct lack of cm of any kind at all since beginning ttc, I'm wondering!

starky you're mad!! But having said that I had a severe back injury last year so when dtd I had to make him stop before I made it so it didn't hurt too much 😳 it was a weird time. Speaking of wierd (and TMI) I thought I had full on excessive Cm today a la miley so mad dash to loo, only to remember I'd just done two hot yoga classes and was just really sweaty. Grossed myself out.

Snow they are quite different aren't they?! I only started doing mine last month and sacked it off in a huff when AF came early so can't share mine (if you can do that in ovia?). Hopefully you are yet to ovulate and will get some clear signs in the next day or two, fx.

Jem this is our 4th cycle. However, working away has meant we haven't been together at the critical time or dtd enough. I think we also had a chemical pg in the 2nd cycle-I had nausea/altered taste/off coffee/boobs looked weird/emotional/vivid dreams, but got a bfn testing on day 25 (cycles have been 28/29 days, 27 this month). Then got AF on day 33. I guess it could have been AF symptoms but felt different somehow? Who knows!

God this TTC lark fucks your head up. I had a peak clear blue opk on Friday with ewcm and a big dip in temperature (35.75). Temp rose on sat quite significantly (36.46), but yesterday and today has gone back to its usual 36.1 ish. My understanding is that once you've ovulated, temp tends to be higher because of progesterone which has a heat inducing affect.

Now I'm wondering if I did ovulate, even though I had all the sodding signs, including pain I was getting on my right side late Friday and during Saturday.
I feel like I've turned into a loon!
