Symptom spotters, tww - ers, slightly hysterical hormone laden ladies! Regs, lurkers, intermittent posters! Our raison d'etre is 'am I pregnant?' Depending on how much Ovia (Whybird/Ovibitch) has pissed us off/messed with our fw she is either the oracle or a sanctimonious charlatan.

Just a warning, we move FAST! Our threads last on average, about a week before they're full.

Thread 9 , Welcome one and all! Group of weirdos, wee hoarders, covert opk or okp, depending on what your autocorrect decides addicts with a side business in CM management!

We do not judge, we enjoy TMI, we i encourage waiting to poas nobody listens and all the grossness you can find from a group of intelligent, articulate ladies. Fart stories make us laugh, stories about cervical mucus, pooing, cysts and nausea equally welcome.

Post your stats and add your dates. We have a register thanks to kat, I have been dubbed the resident piss stick queen loaaaaaads of bfp'ers who keep us positive! We don't have rules, we love a good symptom spot, we try to stay grounded and not be hysterical sometimes we manage it aswell

We like acronyms, we make some up: PET = Proper expensive test. We love the d(h)...which can of course mean 'dearest' or 'dickhead' why, what were you thinking?

That would be a definite high for me Planeteer!

StarkyTheDirewolf · 02/02/2016 20:13

I think I will probably wait! It would be rude to ignore my own set of rules! But we'll see! I'll probably get sore boobs and spots next week which for me means af is en route! I'm now thinking of I can persuade Dh to not work next Monday he's never supposed to anyway but always gets called in then we'll do our meal then, because I've no doubt that he will end up getting called in on the 13th!

I wouldn't say that's positive yet planeteer but it's looking like a peak. I have I think quite a natural high level of lh so mine tend to look like that most of the time. However, I would say it certainly means getting down to some dtd anyway! Just to be on the safe side! And do at least 1 opk a day from now on to keep an eye on your levels!

OP posts:
Kwick709 · 02/02/2016 20:09

Now on page 11

starky at least you have DTD on tap!!! Well done on your major activity! Fingers crossed for 2WW.

choc have you tried sucking a clove... Old remedy for toothache.

Nutella is low gi and also full of nutty goodness... Which I had a jar to hand scoff

Ni please give yonanas recipe immediately!!!!!

FlyingSpaghettiM0nster · 02/02/2016 20:07

I reckon so Planeteer! Go get you some D Grin

Planeteer · 02/02/2016 20:03

More hugs from over here feefs. If it's stopping you sleeping I can recommend trying asmr videos on YouTube. Definitely not for everyone, lots of people find the whispery voices creepy, but they seem to work for me and help me sleep when I can't turn my brain off Thanks

Hope you lovelies don't mind me joining the pissy stick pic brigade but would love thoughts on this. Does this count as a positive opk?

Kwick my gym does yoga classes so I might look into it in a couple of weeks time Smile I am the least flexible person ever though so I imagine I'll struggle at first! I'm really into my lifting at the minute, should make the most of it because I guess I might not be able to do it for much longer if I'm lucky!

Ni4444 · 02/02/2016 19:55

Wee in the packet! Bloody genius!!

Feefs I get the NHS stress...my thinking is that it's not my responsibility to run a service without proper support/funding. I'll do my job, I'll do the best I can for my clients, I'll support my colleagues, but I cannot be the best I want to be because I will drive myself into the ground, and then everyone suffers. Accepting my own limits is actually the most helpful thing I can do. Management get paid the big bucks for a reason so let them solve it. You're not alone Flowers

ElleSarcasmo · 02/02/2016 19:53

Fx I thought you meant put the stick in the packet, not the wee! That is inspired but no way my aim/pelvic floor is that good! I can just about manage a gu ramekin, you're a better woman than me! Blush

Kwick709 · 02/02/2016 19:51

Hello everyone! I am on page 6... So please bear with me as I get caught up! The thread sure moves fast!

Welcome all newbies - wishing everyone much luck in quest to be with child Star

spagmonster pregnancy yoga is definitely a thing - can really help - cannot wait to have reason to start... Have put my irregular practice of yoga on hold just becayse I do not do frequent enough... And they say you should not add in exercise during 2WW.

Congratulations Ipatches!!!

starky you are definitely our guiding light re:POAS too early. The clinic always says to do the test 16 days after procedure so that is 16 0r 17dpo plus 16.

indi just read about your BFP - so hoping it is for real :)

ElleSarcasmo · 02/02/2016 19:50

Stark - test on 14 DPO, definitely. I'm not saying it will guarantee the right result, but of anyone on here, you have been so incredibly patient the whole way through. If anyone deserves to test early, it's you

Thirded here Starky! Then you can apply the rule, drink till its pink! Though Kat has a point too. Basically, If you are pg, the embryo will only be a blastocyst anyway so won't come to any harm from you drinking. Either way you're fine!

Lisa I'm seeing the pom-poms as red, you? Grin

Thanks Ni, think I will give them a try.

Hugs for you Feefs, some nhs areas are so overstretched and stressed. Are you clinical or non clinical?

Bullet journal linky:
bulletjournal.com

Was thinking of doing it but am attached to my diary. I got a bit confused re whether I would need to ditch the diary and just keep the bullet. What have you done Kat?

Ni4444 · 02/02/2016 19:27

Just starting to catch up on the day so bear with me if I'm a bit behind.

Elle...yup, used hello fresh twice...great way to spice up the boring routine of the same things for dinner-discovered a lovely feta and leek chicken with balsamic roasted tomatoes recipe -yum! Plus far better variety of nutrients than I would usually manage (bulgar wheat, couscous, parsnip chips!). I think they're too expensive at full price though so I cancelled! You get to offer three friends a free box though so OH will avail of that next week when we move into our new address! 😜

Feefeefs · 02/02/2016 19:16

Thanks katonatinroof I use to do list and enjoy them. What's bullet journaling? I think yoga would be a good idea but my self esteem has taken a big hit at the moment and I don't think I could handle the anxiety of going to a class. The stress is very busy work environment with very poor morale(NHS) which has resulted in colleagues Witt significant mental health issues. I end up having to deal with their management day to day(not part of my role I am at the same level as them) and it is just wearing me down! To top it all off I am having pain control issues from previous oral surgery.

Thanks ni will check out that app and the commute idea is a good one. Cannot get away from colleagues in work due to open plan office.

Thanks elle I like the essay and the advice Smile

Sorry AF got you harriet and latin but glad we can be testing buddies again Smilewell Jel of your Mexico trip latin hope you have a ball

FlyingSpaghettiM0nster · 02/02/2016 19:15

Did someone say... prosecco? Wink

StarkyTheDirewolf · 02/02/2016 19:14

Star oooooh I found it!! I was really jealous of the stars everyone was posting.
Has that always been there? Hmmlooks suspiciously from side to sideHmm

StarkyTheDirewolf · 02/02/2016 19:14

fx the wee in the packet is actual genius! And inspired!

I've felt terrible thinking I was pushing everybody to wait till af day and then here I am suggesting I test a week before! If I had normal length cycles I would probably feel less sheepish about it because it would only be a couple of days out. But because I can go up to 38 days (which would be the 21st feb) to 41 days (23rd feb) testing on the 13th/14th would be cd 30/31. I'll probably see how I feel. If I get my usual pre-af symptoms then I won't.

OP posts:
KatOnATinRo0f · 02/02/2016 19:12

Starky I think you should hold out..... it would be lovely if you were preggo but..... Mmmmm glass of prosecco. And if you don't know you are pregnant it doesn't matter :) loads of people have a drink and then whoopsie they are preggo. and if u are preggo you won't get another glass of prosecco until 2017. (Sorry I'm a rebel... Don't listen to me)

FlyingSpaghettiM0nster · 02/02/2016 18:50

Implantation bleed, how appropriate! I have the tiniest bit of pink spotting... saw it after my daily cervix check (oh yes, I am one of those) I'm 6dpo so I guess there is a chance... I guess. FF reckons I'm 7dpo but I don't believe it. I've had the tiniest bit of cramping too, but really low down and almost feels like it;s more on the left than the right. Maybe it's just wind though

Really need to start being super careful in work now though, I work in a lab and we can deal with some pretty nasty stuff. I'll have to go full on PPE, face visor and all Grin super sexy and all that

LisaTheGreek · 02/02/2016 18:48

Lols, Planeteer - I'm imagining us all as cheerleaders with pom poms and 'AF' written on our shirts!

Evergreen15 · 02/02/2016 18:48

Fx us g the packet to collect the wees is GENIUS!!!!!! GrinGrin
Starky 14dpo is reasonable. Do it. Plus you can give yourself as many Starky StarStarStar as you want, really Grin----
My lutheal phase is only 11 days, so I think i should get a Star at 12 dpo Smile Not this month as I am out

What do we want? AF
When do we want it? NOOOOW!!

Starky, adding my voice to the 'test at 14dpo' crowd. And give yourself several stars at the same time! It's your prerogative as oracle and starkeeper x

StarkyTheDirewolf · 02/02/2016 18:39

miw leave off testing for a few days and see what happens. Chances are if you're getting bfn's and are bleeding at 14 dpo (even if it's still light) that you're not pregnant. Implantation bleeding is fairly rare but you never know, you could be one of the lucky ones! What cd are you on?

m.wikihow.com/Recognize-Implantation-Bleeding

That's so annoying kath and star I'm convinced our bodies feel the hysteria and hold off on af just for shits and giggles!
