Symptom spotters, tww - ers, slightly hysterical hormone laden ladies! Regs, lurkers, intermittent posters! Our raison d'etre is 'am I pregnant?' Depending on how much Ovia (Whybird/Ovibitch) has pissed us off/messed with our fw she is either the oracle or a sanctimonious charlatan.

Just a warning, we move FAST! Our threads last on average, about a week before they're full.

Thread 9 , Welcome one and all! Group of weirdos, wee hoarders, covert opk or okp, depending on what your autocorrect decides addicts with a side business in CM management!

We do not judge, we enjoy TMI, we i encourage waiting to poas nobody listens and all the grossness you can find from a group of intelligent, articulate ladies. Fart stories make us laugh, stories about cervical mucus, pooing, cysts and nausea equally welcome.

Post your stats and add your dates. We have a register thanks to kat, I have been dubbed the resident piss stick queen loaaaaaads of bfp'ers who keep us positive! We don't have rules, we love a good symptom spot, we try to stay grounded and not be hysterical sometimes we manage it aswell

We like acronyms, we make some up: PET = Proper expensive test. We love the d(h)...which can of course mean 'dearest' or 'dickhead' why, what were you thinking?

StarkyTheDirewolf · 07/02/2016 11:53

kat you and me both. Boobs are tender this morning and my skin is sensitive. And I can't face my morning brew. All pms symptoms.

Interesting new symptoms though. Stabby pain in my middle. I'm sure my mind is just inventing things though for me to go "ooh, that's different!" And it's probably not even there. Vibro-tum is still going strong on/off! Grin

StarkyTheDirewolf · 07/02/2016 11:48

patches I'm so sorry mate, will be thinking of you and sending love Flowers

twink frer are the ones to use if you're testing early, although I'd try and hold out for 14 dpo, and it's much more reliable then.

miley we had a marquee in my dms large back garden and a posh bbq, the chef was AMAZING, literally omg the fooooood! My dress was £150 out of a charity shop (100% convinced my late dgm had put it there for us to find) and it was all yellow and white flowers and loveliness! Best day of my life! We made invitations ourselves, and homemade chocolate truffles for favours. Dad did the disco off his laptop. Mum did the wedding (vicar) and it was very much a personalised, family style affair. Would recommend it to everyone! Can't believe it's nearly been a year!

miley OH and I are still going through divorce with our exes. She was a bullying selfish cow (she bookmarked her engagement ring on his computer, booked a weekend away and told him to make it happen) then booked the wedding venue within a week without him even seeing it... not pushy at all!!

I spent £16 on my wedding dress, and £20 on our rings... that's how shoddy our wedding was...

OH ex spent £15k on their wedding....

Neither of our marriages have lasted so goes to show its got nothing to do with the day. Do it because you love each other. That's what we'll be doing :)

LaraG13 · 07/02/2016 11:34

LisaTheGreek · 07/02/2016 10:22

Same here - my OH has been broody for about five years. He's always known he's wanted kids asap.

It's taken me about six months to come round (I was initially terrified), but of course as soon as I did he got cold feet. Then we spent some time with my young nieces and nephews on New Year's Eve, and suddenly he warmed up again. So we started trying straight away Grin

Mileymoocow · 07/02/2016 10:13

choc definitely not, of course you're a proper woman. My OH has wanted to try for at least a year and it was me holding back. He's also more keen on marriage than me. Not that I would never get married, but these days having a house together seems like more of a commitment. It seems that its just a game to see who can spend the most on a lavish wedding between my friends and I'm a tight northerner so can't begin to justify 20 odd grand on a wedding. Think we're going to have a garden party type thing or just go abroad which I'm more than happy with Smile

ipatches sorry again, lovely lady Sad been thinking of you and how you're holding up

ZazzlesTheCat2 · 07/02/2016 10:09

KatOnATinRo0f · 07/02/2016 10:04

Morning all. Yep did enjoy my Wine v much. Well I think they weren't trying not to, just stopped being so careful and oh look at that! Ahh well, it will be lovely for one of us to have a little baby around. The other friend and her husband are now going to start trying in a few months and I have a sinking feeling that I will be the only not upduffed one in a while!!

No sign of AF as yet. I felt a bit optimistic and so poas- IC and also a sainsburys one I had in the back of the drawer. Both huge great big BFN so just waiting for the witch now.

Chocaholic88 · 07/02/2016 10:04

Yvonne1986 · 07/02/2016 10:02

Sorry to hear that ipatches Thanks xxxx

ElleSarcasmo · 07/02/2016 10:01

Oh iPatches, so sorry to hear that. Flowers and hugs for you.

iPatches · 07/02/2016 09:53

I'm back.

After my BFPs last weekend, I miscarried/chemical pregnancy at not quite 5w. I kept taking the cheap pregnancy tests, which got fainter, and then became negative. Bought some more expensive tests - but several different brands said negative by Friday/Saturday.

Started bleeding/AF yesterday. Upset is an understatement.

So I guess today is cd2 of Cycle #3.

ElleSarcasmo · 07/02/2016 09:39

First fx for you testing thurs!

Twinky although the tests are less likely to be accurate if you test early, a FRER is probably the best/most sensitive. Though expensive!
