Huge hugs Sunny. I hope you get the answers soon. I take these B complex vitamins for my general health and wellbeing and rheumatoid have a good % of dosage. From H&B and £9.99 for 50.xxx

I'm confused.. my OPK was faded yesterday yet just had a load of very stretchy EWCM... surely if the OPK has started showing a negative I'm past OV?
Any ideas? Didn't test today because of the fact it wasn't positive yesterday.xx

Oh no sunny poor you it definitely gets so much harder to stay positive after each cycle but just think your getting to know your body and your cycle more. It sounds like that could also be why they didn't see the corpus luteum on the scan yesterday.
Agnus cactus takes up to three months to make an effect on your cycle so hopefully next cycle your luteal phase longer. I take 50mg of B6 each day but you can take 100. Enjoy your wine and chocolate

Hi all (I wrote this post and lost it which has made me even more grumpy!)

AF reared her ugly head today! Boo hiss. This makes my luteal phase (if I did indeed ovulate) a rubbishy short 8 days! It has been 8-9 days on previous cycles, which is pants and definitely won't get me preggers.

But it did arrive when I thought it would after my positive opks and high temps, which suggests I probably did ovulate. I do wonder if due to my short luteal phase the corpus luteum had already broken down by yesterday hence why he didn't see it.

I can't remember who asked, but the corpus luteum is what is left of the main follicle after the egg has popped out. It produces progesterone to support the egg. If the egg is fertilised it produces progesterone until the placenta takes over, so should be seen on an early pregnancy scan. If egg isn't fertilised it breaks down, this progesterone drops, and this is what triggers AF (all very clever). It should be seen post ovulation, throughout luteal phase. Sometimes a scar of old corpus luteum can be seen into next cycle. But cos my luteal phase is crap and short maybe that's why it wasn't there... But then I'm not sure why there would still be immature follicles.

This is the first month Iv felt proper crappy and dissappinted when AF arrives. Until this months Iv just kind of been reassured that cycles were getting shorter. But now I just feel that I'm either not ovulating or I am and my luteal phase is crap, but either way I'm not going to get pregnant!! I just need to remind myself that when we set out ttc I was still thinking now it could take 10 months to even have a period (like last time!) so even the fact that we can TRY before then is a bonus.

For those of you taking b6, how much do you take and do you take it for whole cycle?

Cookie fertility friend counts ov day as day 0, so next day 1dpo.

Hi all. Boobs still a bit achey if i prod them and opk completely white. They were pale pink for a good few days before and after i got my almost positive opk and ewcm the same night.
I have GP phone consultation on 11th, which would be around 14-15dpo if it did happen. So if no AF and boobs still achey or actually sore i will test before they call i think, just incase.
I suspect i am just imagining symptoms though. Need to stop prodding my boobs!!!

Sunny, you must be feeling so confused and frustrated by things Mrs. I hope you're ok and your doctor can get to the bottom of things soon. Surely they won't leave you hanging until it's been a year TTC? Your temps and OPKs looks positive to suggest ov has occurred. Keep positive!

I'm really hoping I did actually ov. It was the strange this month as I didn't really have much ewcm at all and my IC OPKs never got as dark as last month, even tho CB suggested peak LH surge. I'm such a pessimist! If I did ov yesterday then would I be 2dpo today or 1dpo? I've always counted the following day as 1dpo but some forum searches has suggested otherwise!

Oooh planteer, that's a brilliantly positive opk!!! I got pos opks really late in cycle before. I ovulated cycle day 88 1st cycle off pill.

Yvonne, I will phone gps in a week once they have the report to see what they think. But think she will just say we have to try for a year before they will refer me. X

I appear to have a positive opk tonight... Not sure how much store to set by it as my body has been throwing out all sorts of confusing signs in the last few weeks and am currently at cd 70 (long bouts of spotting and brown discharge, then no cm at all, then cramps and terrible skin, then a lovely mix of all of the above).

Shall aim for cautiously optimistic though and dtd tonight and tomorrow night.

Sunny I'm sorry, that's such frustrating and confusing news. Sounds like it's not a definite no though as your opks and temp spike are surely indicative of something going on! When are you expecting AF to show her witchy face?

Chapman: I think egg normally pops 12-36 hours after positive opk. Although it's normal within 24 hours from what Iv read.

First: it's tricky, those opks don't look quite positive but it is possible to miss the surge. The achey boobs are a good sign. The cycle before I started opks I was pretty sure I had ovd due to sore nipples, and sure enough came on about 10 days later (I have short LP).

Warning long story coming up: i had a transvaginal uss today due to pelvic pain and irregular periods. The sonographer said I had immature follicles on my ovaries (which shouldn't still be there at 8dpo) and NO corpus luteum (which should be there at 8dpo!) so looks like I didn't ovulate after all!! :(

he said there were some but not all signs of PCO present. I had normal day 3 bloods at my GP, fsh:lh ratio normal, but GP didn't check for testosterone levels etc so not sure if they are normal. I have acne, bmi 26ish, no excess hair, basically some but not all signs of Pcos, so could be PCO without the syndrome.

So my big question is this: based on my opk (which was very very positive for 2-3 days) and my temp chart I'm now 8dpo, but the sonographer said there was no corpus luteum so it doesn't look like I ovulated! is it possible to have positive opk AND sustained temp rise but not ovulate?? Iv attached my chart to see what you think. I know Pcos can cause false positive opks due to high lh but can it cause high temps that look like you OV even if you haven't ovulated?? What else could cause that temp rise?

My nipple soreness has settled a bit post ov, but my boobs are tender which is the first cycle since stopping pill that Iv had breast tenderness, was getting my hopes up but won't bother now if I haven't even ovulated!!

Boobs still achey. Trying a different bra today to see if it is that. This was the opk last tuesday (third down) that was close to positive.

We shall see if AF comes in around a week from now

Yvonne I had EWCM on Monday - it was a bit of a mix between creamy and EWCM yesterday which makes me wonder if the egg has passed. It could be a mix of EWCM and sperm for you with the fact you're aiming to catch the egg! FX xx

Hi girls!
Took a quick poas and it's a negative so defo had my peak/surge sat/sun I think! How long after having the positive line does your egg implant or get released i never have an idea? Be a miracle if I've caught in time!
Sorry about AF sunny but you never know it might not show! Fx for you!!
Haha I know cookie I thought we were gonna be totally different now! Oh am aching off the gym so no chance of me dtd tonight and he won't be in til gone 10 as il have to pick him up from the match.. so happy a few of us have managed to get positive opks this week hopefully like cookie says we will be getting some bfps!!! XXXX

Does anyone else have awful spotting/ brown discharge in their tww? I'm putting it down to 'another thing wrong with me and my cycle' but I'm just wondering if anyone else has any experience or reasons for this? I get a small amount of fresh blood from 2dpo, and it continues until period arrives. I am now 7dpo, and had another lot of fresh spotting last night, and a lot of brown discharge this morning. No cramps or anything else to think it's the start of the witch, but it's a bit concerning.

So good to see lots of positive opks! I get a bit giddy when I see such a strong positive! Hope everyone is getting down to business!

I'll test again tomorrow and maybe it will be darker I think I'll definitely buy some CB for next cycle (fx I won't need them) as the flashing smily faces is much easier than studying the lines!

It is strange how we are all I'm similar positions this month they say your cycles sync with the girls you work with so maybe ours have as we talk so much ha! x

Yvonne that looks positive to me! Fab news! If you dtd last night then you're in with an excellent shout & then go again tomorrow night. How strange is it that there's now a few of us at exactly the same stage! We'll all be testing at roughly the same time too! Xx

According to my little leaflet not quite Yvonne but looks like it's heading in the right direction!
Tonight's one after a 7 minute wait. Not so instant tonight. CM a touch creamier than yesterday too?? Is that still a peak?xx

I'm such an amateur with these OPKs is this a positive?? We dtd last night so will wait and dtd again tomorrow don't want to suddenly start pouncing on the OH too much or he will know something is going on (he wants a BFP more than me so knowing I'm OV might be too much pressure on him to perform).

Chapman, my DH is at football too tonight so I think he was hoping for a night off! Will see if I can convince him to dtd before he goes. I didn't get a chance on my peak day last month so I feel I really want to give it my all this month. Hoping you've caught too Mrs! Roll on a long, tedious tww! Xx

Me and DH dtd on sat and last night - night off tonight as he's at the football so will dtd on Wednesday. Don't know when my surge started or when my peak was so hoping I caught it with the sat and mon! Fx for us al xx
