Haha bobo this 2ww is the worst you just make up symptoms and symptom spot but most of the symptoms are the same as period haah its so annoying! same here im holding out sick of the negative nancys!!! im 11dpo today i think but not trying as i only finish at 8 and cba to go asda. And yeah hun i will if i dont come on on sunday! xxx

Chapman - I'm ok I've had a few odd pains today but not reading too much into it...kinda... totally am really! I haven't tested yet I am being a good girl! I told dh we would test together on Sunday and I think he would be disappointed if I tested without him (like normal) so that's giving me the willpower to hold off That and I'm only 9dpo now so would most likely get a bfn!
fx your cramps are a good sign! Do you think you will resist testing until Monday? x

Sunny - Only decided not to get any because last month and the month before and the month before that i was like a mad woman poas 3/4 days before af was due and was sick of seing negatives so just gonna wait now til A F shows which no doubt she will sunday or wait til monday.. which will be the hardest thing ever as i am regular haha! No hun not really i keep feeling cramps and as if someone is pulling strings and that but apart from that no. did you have any? thankyou hun im glad your preg wasnt a ectopic but i hope you get some answers when you rescan fx for you and just hope its a bit behind in growing! :) xxx

bob - how are you hun? apart from the head cold anything? have u tested yet haha? have u given in?

High -I use the one-step opks form Amazon. I picked up about 90 for £10! I love a bargain

My sniffley nose has turned into a full on head cold Work was crap too so I'm now sulking on the sofa

I think I'll pick up some opks in town tomorrow as it would be nice to know if and when I am ovulating.
I noticed the Ovia app presumed I would be on my period last week (based on a regular cycle) but as AF hasn't arrived I had to amend each day to say no period, yet it hasn't amended my 'days to fertile window' countdown & all the summaries are relating to the run up to ovulation so it can't be very accurate!

HighHopes - I would definitely do the opks! I know it's bit obsessive but I feel like I am actively doing something to help ttc when doing them. What I've been doing is doing one every three days until they start getting a line, then one a day until it starts getting darker and finally I do them 2/3 times a day to catch the surge. I keep them all in a little book Dh calls it my 'Lady Dipper book' haha!

Cookie that sounds lovely!! I am very jealous I'm testing on Sunday (12dpo) Not really sure if I'm hopeful or not I've been having a bit of cramping and discomfort but af isn't due until next Tuesday! I will probably still be here to keep you all company in May

I went a cruise round the canaries Chapman! It was very hot when we docked but the seas were extremely rocky! Felt a bit queasy at times but it didn't put a dampner on things, we both had a lovely time. Sad to be home and back to washings, ironing and the prospect of going back to work looming!

Im now 10dpo i think.. due on sunday! have got no pg tests in my house and refuse to buy any either cause i do it every month and always have a face full of custard when AF shows so im waiting for her to show on sunday if she doesnt il take a test monday. the longest 5 days to wait but i know she will show dont feel confident at all.

high hopes - welcome :) your in a lovely thread theres been a lot of BFPS think there is only like a few of us now who havent.. we are the pensioners haha! I would defo recommened to use opks to confirm when you have your surge but also to temp to confirm. i tried to temp this month but im useless if i dont catch this month im going to hell with the opks and just dtd as often as i can. haha!

This seems to be a v successful thread so far!
I came off the pill in December, had a withdrawal bleed straight but have only had 2 AF since then. We've been dtd about 3x a week as I can't seem to work out when I'm ovulating.
I'm currently 7 days late which keeps getting my hopes up but don't want to keep testing as will be disappointed to get a BFN again!
I've been tracking my symptoms & cycle on the Ovia app but tempted to start Opk's as it doesn't seem v accurate- Would everyone recommend them for working out when you ovulate?

Well I've been eating and drinking far too much this past week. It was a much needed holiday! I thought I could put ttc out my mind but I seemed to be constantly plagued with 'ooh are you going to start a family soon?' Questions from couples we met & also met a friend of my parents who seemed to want to broach the subject every single time I met them! I was so close to lobbing a flaming sambuca in the guy's face one night- Jesus!!!

Hehe it's cool BoBo bit of a lurker. Yes we're waiting due to other reasons this year (we were originally going to TTC May time but my OH got scared) but I guess if it happens it happens but we are only relying on condoms at the moment. Never had the spotting after sex and it was like pink jelly which I know others have had as implantation. I'm sure I'm over thinking it but we all do it don't we!xx

Chapman - Aw poor you! I hope this week goes quickly for you hun x

Shan - Sperm can live in the fallopian tubes for approximately 3 days. So the theory is if you dtd in the days before the egg is released they are there ready and waiting for the egg. Whereas if you dtd after ovulation the sperm have to get up to the fallopian tubes before the egg dies and they only live 24 hours. But like Chapman said it's all pure luck really and just dtd once can catch it!

Sunny - That sucks but at least the dr is being helpful. Fx there is absolutely nothing wrong and baby is just making room in there and you get a nice cheeky early scan without any problems
I'm testing Sunday (12dpo) so I can blub all over Dh if it's a bfn haha!

Shan - tbh you can only do it once in your fertile week and could be lucky enough to catch! or you can do itr every day haha! but me & dh did it the day of ov or the day before i had 2 positive opks on the sat and sun so had to be around then! xx

Hope you're all doing well? Feeling a bit sick today, had some pink CM after sex last night which was random?! We have been using condoms though and it wasn't overly vigorous . On CD25 according to Ovia but been bad at entering things on it the past few weeks as exhausted with work as have been so manic. Think I may be reading too much into it though as we have been quite careful.xx

Now I dhd for the last 3 nights for no reason DH gets a bit excited he says we have to keep trying but sure it's just an excuse for him 😅 so it's CD 9 for me so nothing exciting happening I'm kinda getting watery cm atm? After the dry spell but no pains or anything yet FX it's not a long messed cycle like last month :(
Question girls also say you DHd the day b4 u ov and didn't dhd on the day u ov cud u still catch the egg?

i didnt take it hun luckily my periods returned straight away like literally 28 days after my whithdrawal bleed im quite pleased really. some of the other girls have tried it and they said it has regulated them!

Bobo - i dried up a bit now and again im getting a tiny bit not much! if i havent conceived and AF is coming i should start to get symptoms now i.e a massive red spot on my face somewhere & i go to the toilet ridiculous amnts i.e the runs sorry if tmi haha! and not really hun just feel sharp pains on my left side low down but nthing major?

aw bless you if i was to get my bfp ours would be due on xmas day haha! that would be so nice for both of you.. same with me id be off and DH would be off for 2 weeks paternity and holidays! fx for us xxxx

Cat - I definitely recommend Agnus Castus. First cycle was 76 days post pill. Started AC as soon as my period started and that cycle was 35 days which is what my natural cycle should be . Taking it again this cycle and I ov'd a bit earlier which hopefully means I will have a 14 day lp and 35 day cycle (and fx a nice bfp). It also made my period pain pretty much non-existent which was lovely If you know for certain you aren't pregnant then you could start taking AC asap and hopefully it will bring your super long cycle to an end. If there might be a chance then I would wait until CD1 of cycle 2 Hope this helps!

tmi alert - I'm 5 dpo today and noticed loooooads of creamy lotion-like cm. Don't know if this is good/bad/not important

Chapman - any symptoms?

I must confess I am getting myself quite worked up this tww I worked out if I get a bfp baby would be due approx 21/12. What I hadn't realised until I worked this out was that as dh's work closes over Christmas we would get about 4 weeks together with his pat leave on top of xmas closure! Now I just keep thinking how amazing that would be for him to spend so much time with our first baby and it's making me even more desperate for a bfp! I don;t want to disappoint him

Yep, I stopped taking the pill mid December and haven't had a period since! Apart from having a bit of a breakout of spots, I haven't really noticed anything different, no real mood changes, or cramps or anything........can't believe I am actually saying that I want these things to happen, to just to give me a sign that something is happening! On the plus side I can go swimming whenever I want atm!

I will defo look into the angus castus. Have any of you you had any experience with it? I'm always a little nervous about taking supplements without being advised, but if people have had good experiences, could be worth a go!!

I did see the doctor last week as a health screen showed that my thyroid was slightly enlarged. He was great and took bloods even though its only been 4 months. All came back normal, I'm fit and healthy, l so I guess its a waiting game.

Second that- you all seem lovely on here! No need for negativity, everyone's going through something different and all at different stages :)
