Hi ladies,

This is the 2nd thread following on from

For everyone who is entering the madness that is Ttc after stopping the pill. Maybe to start the thread we could all post our stats, so we remember where everyone is at and don't have to check the old thread. X

Aw you guys are all so lovely... It's nice to have a place where people are just nice to each other! I'm being soppy but I feel like we actually care about how the others are getting on!

I think the egg has popped. Opk negative today and temp up this morning. Just hope it stays up and it's not another false surge. This opk was way darker than my false one earlier in month and when iv had such dark ones before I always come one 7-10 days later, so fingers crossed I am ovulating. Dtd last 2 nights and will try again for tonight to try to catch it, but I'm on call so fingers crossed I'm not called out. I don't need to be delivering other people's babies when I should be at home trying to make my own! Haha.

Cookie we are at similar place in cycle and I have short literal phases too. Snap. Fingers crossed this is our month.

Shan: wee on a stick woman!! Preferably a hpt type stick... Not just any old stick out of your garden. I hope it's bfp for you. Do you know when you ovulated? Don't wanna be the voice of reason but if you don't know for sure that you have ovulated you might just be having long cycle/delayed ovulation. Look at me, cycles pre pill were normal 30 days... Cycles after pill are anything from 29 days to 100! Iv ovulated on cd43 this month so wouldn't expect period until about cd 53.... But not because my period is late, because my ovulation was late. If that makes sense. X

Aw Chapman, you just seem so lovely! You've dealt with AFs arrival so well. Hope DH looks after you this weekend huni xx I'm trying to cover all bases at the moment. We haven't dtd since tues so will try and get on it tonight! Really hoping I did ov earlier this week though. I had a pounding headache on Monday & I never get headaches, so I'm kind of hoping it was a 'hormone headache', which I know can happen! We'll see! I feel like I've had an influx of people recently just asking me about babies and when it's going to happen etc. It's so insensitive (although, I admit, i probably was one of those people!)

Shan, definitely do a test! You don't want to be 7 or 8 weeks pregnant and just finding out Mrs! Xx

Congratulations lemon :) send BFP my way as I'm 3 weeks late tomorrow and no sign atal ☺ so I may take a test or il be signing myself into the nut house :( heads recked and I'm getting so much cm I keep thinking it's AF so I'm running to the bathroom but it's not ? So I dno I may test soon if it a BFN I dno what's wrong never this late in my life b4 the pill it was sometimes 2 weeks but 3 weeks never

sUNNY - i KNOW HUN SO DID I (oops sorry about the caps im so used to typing in caps at work) i had all the symptoms of BFP but then again i know myself when im gonna come on i just think women have that feeling haha! but as you say gonna pick myself up for next month! have a drink at the weekend and by monday AF will be gone! how have you gotten on have you and OH been dtd?

Cookie - Thanks doll im actually gutted but dont want to cry yet i thought i did earlier on but im ok now ive had some chocolate and im gonna look forward to the end of this month haha! Aw bless you seems like your proper prepared! are you still DTD to cover all bases hun even if you are 3dpo? xxxx

Chapman, so sorry to hear of AF hun, you poor thing. You're totally within your right to be feeling gutted/upset/angry! I was devastated last month & seem to be taking it worse as the months go on. As Sunny says, it's a new month and once ov time approaches then the optimism can start again!

Sunny, has your egg popped yet? Hope you've managed to pounce on DH the past few nights!

Well I'm (hopefully) 3dpo. Please let me reach the 1 week mark without AF showing!! These short luteal phases are driving me mad. I also have 2 FRER and 2 Superdrug early tests in my drawer in preparation for test time- I'm mad, I know!! Shan, have you tested yet? Maybe I could post you one Hun?? I honestly don't mind doing that! xx

Aw Chapman I'm so sorry, I really thought this might be your turn. It's such a disappointment isn't it. Don't feel like you have to chivvy your self up straight away. It's ok to feel sad and wallow in it for a day. I felt much better for my sob a few weeks ago. Have a cry some chocolate and watch a good film. And then pick yourself up, next month is a new try. I always feel shitty and "it's never going to happen" until I get my positive opk and then i get positive again! Xx

Oh chapman I'm so sorry SadFlowers - hoped that the BFP fairy might have visited both of us. Still, at least you can have a couple of Wine tonight! And there's always next cycle...go enjoy some caffeine, booze and rare steak while you can

Going to spend the day with my mum today and DH is adamant we can't tell anyone yet...going to be v hard to keep mouth shut. Terrible timing!

Freaking out a bit. As is DH. Thrilled but terrified. This was supposed to take months!

Lemon - my husband is like that sometimes like when I get a bfn it's almost as if he is relieved and when I questioned him on it last month I was heartbroken he said I'm just so nervous and scared. Hope he's careful what he says next time haha hugs Hun xx

Sunny - I'm just praying it's too early to test Hun on them one step ones or there isn't enough hormone but I feel like I'm clutching at huge straws and AF will just make a massive entrance and ruin my weekend! That opk is amazing Hun!! Get dtd as often as you can during this week! Hopefully one of the sperms will be successful think everyone will be so happy when you get your bfp!!! XXXX

Haha lemon, they are funny aren't they. My DH is a clever man but he really has absolutely zero clue about the inner working of our bodies! He genuinely asked me once if he had a uterus!! What!! When I gently explained he reassured me he got confused and meant bladder. Even that, I was like "Ur yes you have a bladder", seriously!! Lol.

Chapman, I'm holding out hope for you! I think those ic are 10-20iu but I'm not convinced... Iv seen lots of pictures where people get very very faint lines on those but good lines on other tests.

Shan, what about a nice little Amazon delivery? They come in unmarked envelopes and deliver quickly?

Look at today's opk, wowza! Come on eggy! I got bored waiting for DH to finish watching footy last night so went to bed to watch Netflix with a plan to stay awake and pounce when he came to bed... But I fell asleep. I woke up at about midnight and he was asleep next to me. So I woke him up like a crazy woman and instigated the deed! He must have wondered what was going on. Going to try to dtd again tonight, might have to own up that I'm ovulating.. Don't want to stress him out but also don't want to get referral if we just aren't dtd enough. I usually have 3-4 days of positive opks and don't ov for a couple of days after that so I'm going to have to keep this up! X

Ps don't know why the test line is wonky! Just a dodgy wonky line I think! Haha

Little rant...

Just discussing with DH whether we should go to a beer festival at the weekend - I said maybe we should wait and see whether or not I'm actually allowed to have a drink. He said "But I thought we'd already established you weren't pregnant? You did a test and it was negative."

We had had a long and detailed conversation not two days ago about how a BFN isn't always really a BFN.

Sigh! He's a lovely chap but I do wish he'd listen!

Thanks sunny that chart is really helpful! the only thing is i dont actually know when i ovulated cause right before we went on holiday which was the 27th Feb i was getting ewcm then which i knew i was gearing up to ov. but i totally forgot to pack my opks. we dtd quite a lot on holiday we got back on the 2nd we still dtd on the 3rd and on the 6th but i never tested on my opks again cause i thought my ov had passed. Looking at my app could of been anywhere between the 27th feb and the 5th March. So if we go by the 5th i would be still 12dpo - i tested this morning on them one step amazon tests. i dont know what miu they are but it was negative. I did a opk stick aswell that had a faint second line on it.

Feeling stressed but also feel like i could come on between now and monday!! xxxx

Chapman, they say it roughly doubled every 2 days. Different bits of research have Ben carried out and there are some charts on average, and highest/lowest hcg levels based on dpo.. They are all different depending on the research but this one is a good example. The median shows why most people would get a positive result by 12-14dpo but if you look at lowest results by day you can see why some people don't get positive until 20+dpo... And some peoples are really high by 10dpo! Interesting. Xx

Evening girls!
Nothing new to report here! Still no AF but I may have my dates mixed up! I'm counting a 28 day cycle but think I may be a 32 this month as the prev month I was! Feel like crying cause it means il be due on anytime between now and the 21st!! Am so fkin pissed off with life and just being a woman in general. Why can't I just be fkin pregnant 🖕🏻 really sorry girls for having a rant just fed up now!!

Great news sunny!! So glad you might have ov!! Fx you can catch this time and all your hard work temping pays off! I totally feel for you in terms of football my husband is hooked and we're off to a massive game on Sunday! Do you know how quick the hormone is and how fast it doubles? Going to test on Tuesday if I don't come on Hun!

Lemon any more news Hun? The cm you've got is a good sign I'm completely dry down there!! When are you next testing??

Cookie I would just keep Dtd Hun every other day just so that you cover all bases just don't want what happened last time happening again :(

Sod all symptoms, Sunny, having an average amount of creamy-ish CM, and had raging heartburn for most of the weekend, but other than that, nothing to indicate either imminent AF or burgeoning bump. Need to wee a lot but I am also trying to drink more water recently, so I strongly suspect that those two things are linked!

Good luck with the seduction plan...my DH is also glued to the footy, I feel your pain!

Cycle buddies cookie! Don't worry, I don't think the 2nd line has to be darker that control, just as dark is fine. I knew The one I classed as positive two weeks ago wasn't as dark as my positive tests usually are so I was dubious. My positives are always darker than control for 2-4 days so didn't think I had missed it. I've been trying my wanton womanly ways on Bloody DH this evening but he is much more interested in the footy!! I don't like to tell him when I'm ovulating as he sometimes gets stage fright... But I might have to if he remains oblivious to my attempts at seduction! Lol. X

Nothing else to report at this stage! I'm pretty sure I'm about 13 dpo, and usually I get AF after 10-12 Confused - but see prev post about seemingly shorter cycle this month, so who knows WHAT the heck's going on. If AF still doesn't show I'm going to test again Friday, first morning wee TMI.

Sorry to hear about AF BoBo Angry but at least you're out of limbo and ready to line up for another go!

Sunny, looks like we're roughly at the same stage in our cycle now! Im 1dpo (though still have an awful worry at the back of my mind that it might not have been my full LH surge). My OPKs didn't look quite as dark as yours! I did have ewcm tho and CB static face. Will wait and see! Hope you manage to pounce on DH tonight and tomorrow hehe! Xx
