Hi ladies,

This is the 2nd thread following on from

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2452018-Waiting-to-try-and-cycle-a-mess-from-the-pill

For everyone who is entering the madness that is Ttc after stopping the pill. Maybe to start the thread we could all post our stats, so we remember where everyone is at and don't have to check the old thread. X

Hi you lovely ladies I'll try keep this short.

Stopped my mini pill ( cerelle ) progesterone only on 30th may had possible w/d or even af 2 days later,

On around the 13th of June I had the following symptoms

• very bloated
• starving
• clear CM
• diarrhoea
• stomach cramps I though af was about to come

24th June dtd with OH after I wiped tmi I had some pinkish/brownish spotting.

Around 2 days later tingling sensations on side of boobs and tugging pain going to my armpits, I still had uterus pain.
Nipples extremely sore and erect. ( they're never erect )

Took a cheap hpt afternoon urine on the 1st July bfn

Anyway from Monday 4th July my symptoms have gotten worse.

• boobs are bigger ( skin tight on sides )
• nipples still erect but not sore
• areola massive and darker with lots of glands on them
• protruding veins going through my nipples
and veins in side
•Lots and lots of white CM when I wipe
•Flu symptoms
• feeling sick
• very hot flushes I had to sleep with a fan on and I'm usually freezing.
• headaches
• so tired
• loss of appetite
• vivid dreams the last 2 nights dreamt I was pregnant
• af type pains but not bad
• metallic taste and extra Saliva
• started crying 3 days ago

I'm taking a test on Friday. FMU

I understand the pill can mess up your system but surely to god my boobs wouldn't be getting bigger and areola massive lol

I'm praying I am.

I've heard stopping the pill can make you ovulate and become more fertile ??

Anyone please any advise I feel like I'm going crazy xx

Baby dust to you all Halo

BoBo90 · 20/04/2016 14:04

Cookie - sorry hun I missed your last message to me! Our fur baby has a bad habbit of running off back to our old house! Luckily it's my mums house so we just go and pick him up but he is a bugger haha
Catmum- we should start a crazy cat lady club!

I've made a new thread Grin so I will see you all over there :

Morning Ladies, day 124 of first cycle here, this AC cannot come quick enough!!! I've read some good and some bad stuff about it (like everything) but as you all seem to have had positive experiences, going to give it a shot! Keep swaying between its just my body adjusting after the pill to surely this cannot be normal!!

Bobo, Cookie- I am totally the same with my little furry boy, in fact when he doesn't some home at night I take to sleeping on the sofa and waiting for him to return, the other half thinks I am mental!

Chapman- absolutely love the way you told your news, try not to worry, like everyone's said the little one will just be settling in there!

I am off for a little break tomorrow, first time off this year so hopefully some r&r may encourage af to arrive :)

Sunnydays321 · 20/04/2016 08:50

Aw Chapman... Sorry you had a rubbish day. I would say try not to worry but I'm exactly the same! I found out at 3+3!! And then I really wished I didn't know until later! I was so worried... And I still am (as you guys have seen!!) I flip between nonchalant "what will be will be/I can't control it/enjoy each day" kinda feeling to absolutely neurotically prodding my boobs, going to the toilet and checking for blood and weeing on a stick a day!! I thought ttc was stressful and worrying but this is a whole other level (sorry other ladies, I know you would take that worry any day to be in the same position, I don't mean i wish it away!) I just can't wait to get past 12 weeks, but even then I think you don't stop worrying, you just worry about different things!

Hello everyone else, cookie sorry you are in the boring stage but fingers crossed you get surge soon.. If not get back on the agnus. I only took it for a week before ovulating last cycle, I only went back on it because I got to cd30+ with no sign of ov.. It seemed to work. Bobo, glad furbaby is back! Ours like to go walkabouts for days sometimes just to freak is out. Sorry to everyone else... I skipped ahead to last page to see what happened with Chapman and now I can't go back to catch up without losing what Iv written. I'm at airport waiting to come home so will catch up properly when I'm back. Xx

BoBo90 · 19/04/2016 22:42

Chapman - thank god for that! You had me worried there! Lucky you having a midwife friend 😊 Try not to worry about any negatives and just enjoy baking that little bun 😄 and all the crazy hormonal emotions that come with it! X

cnchapmanxx · 19/04/2016 22:08

Bobo - aw no sorry babe I meant like because I found out I was pregnant like at week 4 I'm worrying and stressing that I could suffer a chemical but I've been on the phone to my best friend who's a midwife (she's amazing) and she was like it would of already happened by now and your lines on your tests were really strong. I'm just worried about everything I'm a wreck 🙁 Thankyou Hun I'm just hormonal haha Flowers

Cookie - don't worry Hun we are all hear for you! And that's good news it literally only takes one time! Thankyou sweetie I'm just so worried about it all I'm fine now I was just a bit stressed and people at work were stressing me out haha!! Oh fuck forgot that was on 😂 Il need to re watch it.

May- thankyou doll I think cause it's my first I'm worrying about the slightest thing like why are my boobs not sore now, why am I not cramping etc! I hope AC works for you sweetie xxx

May07 · 19/04/2016 21:36

Chapman sorry to hear you have had a horrid day. Understand why you are worried, I am sure I would be a nightmare. But try to let yourself relax and enjoy this special time. Easier said than done I know!

Cookie and Bobo thanks for the AC advice. Think I will get some ordered - feeling like AF imminent tonight Sad.

I have all this series of one born stored on planner. Could feel myself getting emotional watching first one so have avoided watching! Love it but not the best when feeling soooo broody!!

Cookie22 · 19/04/2016 21:09

Hi girl, just checking in! Still at a boring stage where nothing at all is happening. CD18 and not even a hint of a positive OPK yet. Part of me is thinking it might be a good thing as last month I seemed to have a series of multiple surges. Hopefully by the weekend I might get a positive!

Thanks Chapman & Bobo for your lovely words during my crazy vent the other night! Feeling much better now- you girls are all so lovely. Chapman, try not to worry huni, I'm sure everything will be absolutely fine. You're little bean will just be settling into its comfy new home for the next 9 months. I'd be the same as you though as I'm a crazy worrier when it comes to anything in life, so I can't imagine what I'd be like if/when I ever get a bfp! I loved hearing the story of how you told your DH- so lovely!!

High hopes, I feel your pain Mrs! I've had crazy long cycles too where I don't really know what is going on. It sucks! FX ov comes for you soon!

May, I took AC last few months and it seems to have helped my cycles. I took 1000mg, which I believe is the right dosage. Haven't took it this cycle though as I've ran out. Maybe that's why nothing is happening for me yet and it's cd18!!

Bobo, how's you lovely? Could totally sympathise with you when you said about your cat. I'm crazy cat lady and treat my wee fur baby like an actually baby. I hate it when she wanders for too long!

Watching One Born Every Minute just now and it's breaking my heart, waaaah! I want one! Xx

BoBo90 · 19/04/2016 21:03

Chapman hun do you mean you have just had a chemical or you were panicking because it's a risk? Sorry lovely I'm just not sure what you meant but either way sounds like you had an awful day Flowers

Highhopes - Being in limbo sucks! Really hope something starts happening for you soon Smile

May - you take AC on cd1 and stop as soon as you ovulate Smile I've been taking 2 x 1000mg tablets a day which as enough to sort my cycles out straight away!

cnchapmanxx · 19/04/2016 20:08

Hi girls hope everyone is ok!

I had a horrible day at work today was so emotional started crying in the toilet thinking I found out I was pregnant only at 4 weeks that I could suffer a chemical i was a wreck. Had to sit in a room for an hour to calm down. Feel like such an idiot Il be 4+5 today but I'm stressing out over anything! 🙁 Xxxxx

HighHopes16 · 19/04/2016 11:46

Morning all,
Still no sign of AF, Ov or Pg ! No idea what's going on with my body but I feel so bloated and I keep having pins & needles in my stomach. Confused

May07 · 19/04/2016 09:33

Awww that is a lovely response from your mum Chapman. Must have been so lovely telling them. And great way to tell DH!! Smile

Not tried AC yet. First cycle was 33 days so hoped it was go down from there. As it's going up will maybe try. Am I right in thinking you take from period to ovulation? Also what dosage have people been taking? Seen mixed feedback from 1000 to 2000mg online.

lawyeredout82 · 18/04/2016 23:54

Ooh I love a good list! We are ttc #2...not in any cycle yet as holding off another month before I would qualify for my maternity pay at work!! Dd is nearly 15 months old

cnchapmanxx · 18/04/2016 22:34

Evening girlies 😬😬
Sorry I've just had an exciting day telling my mam & dad. We wasn't gonna tell anyone until week 12 but I couldn't hold it in I tell my mam and dad everything! They were over the moon my mam was crying!

Well he supports Sunderland (for my sins) so I wrapped the test in a bag in one of his shirts and put it on his pillow and put a note saying we have another fan on the way. I was downstairs when he Seen if he was like.. chan chan is this real? Then that's when he started making me take another 2/3 tests now he's so happy and looking at furniture in ikea 😂😂

Bobo - I really do recommends seven seas first cycle and I'm up duffed! Fx it works for you lovely how are you feeling??

May- thankyou very much Hun was a lovley day and such a relief I felt like I put so much pressure on myself! It's so hard isn't it! Have you tried AC?

High hopes - thankyou Hun! Aw man bet that is so hard it's horrible When you keep getting bfn and no AF fx something shows up for you soon either way! Xx

Thankyou first and cat hope you 2 are doing ok xxxx

BoBo90 · 18/04/2016 21:33

Cat - he is home now Smile we locked the cat flap so if he came in at night he couldn't get out again which worked Smile
I take two AC tablets a day which worked straight away! The other really good thing I found with AC is that it reall helps with af pain which is a nice little bonus Grin fx they bring on af for you and shorten your cycles! X

CatMum87 · 18/04/2016 21:08

Yay a list lol thanks Bobo! Smile. And yikes what a week, hope youre cat has come home, the little rascal!

I'd too be intrigued as to how you told the news chapman.....do spill Wink

Well I've just ordered some AC and will start taking it after my holidays! Pleeease let it bring this stupid cycle to an end! Not sure on the dosage to take though??

Here's to the start of a new positive week!!

BoBo90 · 18/04/2016 15:25

Chapman - I've been taking normal Pregnacare for about 5 months. I've literally just bought more but I think I might buy some seven seas anyway! I can take the Pregnacare when I eventually get upduffed Smile

Congraulations cnchapman! I love seeing more BFPs on this thread!

May07 · 18/04/2016 12:33

Hi all! Joined the group a couple of weeks back and had phone trouble since so haven't been on. All caught up now I think though!!

Congratulations Chapman great news! Lovely seeing BFP's!

Thanks for the list Bobo ... Iove a list and great to see where people are.

I'm still plodding through cycle 2. Currently day 40. Using opk's and both lines turned same colour but test line went much darker last month (on CD24). Also didn't get ov pains which I felt precious month so who knows! Had to stop DTD though as ended up with a water infection Angry. So if I didn't ov then I will have missed it.

Understand you not telling DH about pg tests HighHopes. I don't want to disappoint DH and think it would make me feel more rubbish. Not telling DH ins and outs of opk's at this stage but he must see them filling the bin!!

Also agree on the bloating I feel the size of a house! Although luckily the teenage spots I had previously seem to be going!

So glamourous this ttc isn't it!!

HighHopes16 · 18/04/2016 10:59

Morning all,

Just to update your list Bobo We are TTC #1.

I'm on my third cycle since coming off the pill in Dec, AF is now 3 weeks late and its really getting me down now! Sad I feel really grumpy, bloated & spotty- I actually wish AF would arrive so I could just feel a bit better in myself. I POAS on Sat and got another BFN.

Did my first OPK this morning and just one line appeared which I think means there is no sign of ov in the next 24/48 hours? I'll prob do one Mon/Wed/Fri each week so I can work out my crazy cycle!!

chapman - How did you reveal your BFP to your OH?? I've thought about all the different ways I could tell my DH. I like the thought of baking a cake and dropping loads of hints about me having a bun in the oven! Grin

DH asked last night why I wasn't telling him when I did pg tests (He found one in the bathroom bin) & I said I didn't want to disappoint him with loads of negatives.

cnchapmanxx · 18/04/2016 09:38

Morning girlies Smile

Cookie - not really yet babe we off to the doctors Today to get referred to the midwife! Then I think it'l sink in! Been up since 6 can't sleep last week couldn't get my head of the bloody pillow 😂😂 cookie I couldn't recommend it highly enough I took it the last day I had my period - only thing I would say is I thought it made me constipated but now I know that could of been due to being up duffed! And yes defo we still going away in 4 weeks very excited!
Your always positive babe and it's ok to feel a bit gloomy don't worry about it we are all here for you and will be until you get your bfp! This thread is a lucky one and we're all behind you! I love coming on here and ranting it's better than doing it to poor DH haha! Hugs for you xxx

Bobo - defo lovley may will be your month! Are you taking any seven seas or pre conception tablets?? That's the only thing I did different this cycle!
We will get more bfps!! Spreading my luck to you all girls xxxxx

BoBo90 · 17/04/2016 22:34

Haha thanks Chapman Smile I was hoping we would be preggers together too hun but hopefully I won't be at behind!

Cookie- we definitely need a new thread soon! We will have to think of new title and attract some more newbies Smile
Don't worry about the doom and gloom lovely! It's ok to feel down about ttc it can be pretty soul destroying at times so feel free to rant and rave about it to us and we will support you all the way Smile

God knows how I've managed to stay positive this week! Works been awful and really busy, then I got nipped on the leg by a dog, followed by a bfn and af and to top it off my cat hasn't come home since Friday the little poo! My theory is that it literally can't get any worse haha so next weeks got to be better and a brand new cycle which I hope is a lucky one Grin

We're going to get our bfps girls! We can do this Grin x

Bobo, so sorry to hear about Af lovely! You're such a positive person - onwards and upwards! Hopefully the AC works for you this month and you ov before you can go on holiday. On holiday sounds a relaxing way to spend the tww! Love this list, maybe we could use it to start a new thread soon? (Noticed we're nearly hitting the 1000 post mark again!). Here's my details

Cookie22 - TTC #1 Cycle 6 - Have tried everything from b6, Agnus Castus, Preeseed, CB opks, IC opks, Legs in the air after dtd, Legs not in the air Grin, conceive plus - nothing seems to be working!

Sunny, hope you're enjoying your holiday mrs! Try to relax, it'll all be fine lovely! I know i'd be totally the same as you though! How far along do you think you are now?

Chapman, has it sunk in yet? Bless your hubby! You both must be over the moon. I think it's totally worth forsaking a holiday when it means a much longed for bambino will be making his/her appearance. I'm definitely going to give seven seas a try next month (i'll add that to my list)

CD 16 for me and not even a hint of a positive OPK! This whole process is totally doing head in! I'm starting to feel on a downer with it all now, feeling as though it will never happen for me. I feel like even when I get my positive OPK there's no point as I just know it isn't going to work. Sorry, I was so positive at the start of this post and here I am all doom and gloom! xx
