CD1 for me today and as I have quite long cycles, I will be missing February altogether.

My stats are:

Name: FuzzyOwl
TTC: 2

Cycle: 6

Part of my gum feels really sore today - that's kind of like your mouth ulcer.

We are both clearly pregnant Grin

Shemozzle · 13/02/2016 21:51

Haha writer I am also guilty of obsessively googling 'is it possible to have pregnancy symptoms before implantation'. Most answers say no, but some thing that the feetilized embryo may send a signal for us to produce more progesterone than usual to help thicken the womb lining ready for implantation. And that there are possibly early symptoms from this. I have put down my mouth ulcer down to early pregnancy so far Smile.

Writerwannabe83 · 13/02/2016 21:12

I've just eaten a nice curry Smile

I read something earlier that said some symptoms of pregnancy can start within 24 hours of conception because of the hormones that the fertilised egg releases straight away and of course I've convinced myself that my dull ache of a headache (one of the signs) is obviously because I'm pregnant Grin

kelly how does a toy for injections work? She picks now and then gets it straight after? I said in desperation when my dd1 (8) was getting injections recently and was refusing to cooperate, that if she was good and calmed down I would take her to the bookshop after and let her choose a book. (I regretted that afterwards because everything was double the price of Amazon of course!) Anyway the nurse looked a bit horrified when i said that so good to see others have done similar. Grin And yes, failed on the diet this week too. Sad I was doing so well before. I need motivation to start again tomorrow... Or Monday.

Kellz92 · 13/02/2016 20:18

Shemozzle, we took DD to toys r us today to pick a toy as she's getting injections this week for our holidays and they'll be sore. Then visited my in laws as my mil lost her brother yesterday. Tomorrow my mum is looking after DD so we can go to the cinema. So looking forward to it.

Dh has just went to get us a Chinese. So much for the diet lol. We're all allowed a treat though I suppose xx

Well giraffes last month I said I wouldn't until 14dpo... Because I had a chemical the month before and decided early testing wasn't a good idea. But I caved at 9dpo Blush. I have an absolute shed load of cheapy tests though, I got some, then 2 different friends posted me some they had finished with... so it's not like wasting money at least! I've been reading that they aren't as sensitive as they used to be though so probably wouldn't show early anyway.

GiraffesCantDoMentalArithmetic · 13/02/2016 19:56

Fx shemozzle - how long will you be able to hold off before POAS???

Shemozzle · 13/02/2016 18:33

7dpo today and mild cramping. Trying not to get my hopes up too much! What's everyone up to this weekend?

Writerwannabe83 · 13/02/2016 12:14

Last night and this morning?

You deserve a BFP just for finding the energy and motivation Grin

FuzzyOwl · 13/02/2016 09:55

My DH didn't use to have any idea about fertile times but that has all changed now. We DTD last night and today's OPKs are just as strong so I really really hope that means today is ovulation day and last night and this morning are enough.

Writerwannabe83 · 13/02/2016 07:17

Did you DTD last night fuzzy? I really intended to but when it came to it I was just too tired. I practically fell asleep as soon as I crawled in to bed.

I wish I had though now because if AF arrives I will always wonder if last night's extra desperate attempt could have been the one that would have led to a BFP.....

Kellz92 · 12/02/2016 18:58

Shemozzle I get my oh to wake me when he comes in from night shift lol. I'm lucky he's putting so much effort into googling things like me. In November he bought me the clear blue advanced fertility monitor, and I came home today and he's ordered preseed. Just getting down about it now xx

Writerwannabe83 · 12/02/2016 18:39

My DH hasn't got a clue about anything. He'd have no idea about fertile Windows and probably thinks you can get pregnant at any time in the month if you have unprotected sex.

Shemozzle · 12/02/2016 17:13

Same fuzzy After the text I sent dp last week asking him to please wake me for sex when he got in so tired at 4am, and him being so obliging, next month I'm thinking of marking the fertile window in our shared google calendar... Grin

FuzzyOwl · 12/02/2016 14:18

Thanks Kellz. Xxx

There is no romance left for me now in ttc! Next month will be like a military precision!

I know writer Im CD 7 so away to start DTD

xx

Writerwannabe83 · 12/02/2016 13:48

I will be doing it tonight too as one last desperate attempt!

Oh the romance.... Grin

Kellz92 · 12/02/2016 13:43

Fx Fuzzy!! xxx

FuzzyOwl · 12/02/2016 13:21

Thanks Shemozzle and Writer. I am feeling quite resigned to it now (your most fertile days are leading up to ovulation, not ovulation itself which was why we intended to start DTD most days from now). Oh well, will definitely DTD tonight anyway and hope.

OP posts:
Writerwannabe83 · 12/02/2016 11:26

Oh Fuzzy Sad

Don't give up yet! I was told ovulation can happen anywhere between 12-48 hours of a positive OPK so DTD tonight may still be worth it?

Shemozzle · 12/02/2016 11:26

Oh fuzzy it's definitely not too late! Get shagging now!

FuzzyOwl · 12/02/2016 10:50

I stupidly didn't use OPKs for a few days as I was not expecting a positive until Sunday or Monday but got one today. We planned to start DTD tonight as we haven't for a week but now I have blown my chances for this cycle. So annoyed and upset. Sad So that means I am out already and, thanks to my long cycles, will be having to wait until April. SadAngry

I don't know if I have ovulated, Mimi.
I don't remember what ovulation used to feel like, but I guess I might as well be with the cramps and tenderness. Well... I hope I am Wink

Writerwannabe83 · 11/02/2016 21:28

shenozzle - I'm loving the jumper idea!!

Writerwannabe83 · 11/02/2016 21:25

DTD before ovulation is what's important and then on the day of the positive OPK.

I've done it three times over the last week so that will do me. I was going to do it again tonight just in case but I've only just got in from work and I'm too tired Grin
