Wow excitingwriter fx for you, keep us updated!
shemozzle hope af stays away for you.

Ff has changed my dates to ovulating on cd14 now and telling me to test on 7th March at 18dpo. I'm thinking of trying to hold out until 6th if no af as it will be Mother's Day :)

Shemozzle · 20/02/2016 08:52

Eeeeek writer exciting! Hope it is for you.

I'm positive today because after thinking I was 27 of likely 28 day cycle yesterday and 13dpo with negative tests, I started with painful cramps and kept checking for AF which didn't come. Then I checked a different fertility app I have been using and that one said I was 11/12 dpo and not due AF for two days. If that one is true over Ovia then the cramps could have been implantation and not period. I'm more hopeful today after AF still isn't here and I don't usually get cramps before. I'm a realist though and not trying to get too carried away with the the possibility and expecting AF today each time I go to the bathroom.

I can't say much as I'm just leaving for work, and I have no reception at work but I think, think THINK that I may have had an IC squinter this morning!!!! But I mean a really squinty squinter Grin

I guess I will just have to obsessively test over the next few days..... Grin

MancombSeepgood · 19/02/2016 23:58

Smile interesting, I use ICs so that sort of matches with my experience. They have been driving me mad this cycle though, I was getting faint-ish lines a week ago but instead of getting stronger they have faded away into nothing at all! Really hoping that I just missed the surge by testing wrong time of day and will be having a lovely temp spike & joining you in the tww soon.

FuzzyOwl · 19/02/2016 23:46

Smile Mancomb. If my scan was accurate during my last pregnancy, I ovulated three days after my first positive opk and two days after I got a peak on a Clearblue. For some reason, I get positives on ICs the day before a Clearblue so at least it gives me extra notice.

Thanks for clarifying fuzzyowl

FuzzyOwl · 19/02/2016 23:07

The egg is typically released 12-36 hours after your first positive opk, but it can be longer (or shorter).

MancombSeepgood · 19/02/2016 23:01

Writer maybe I got that a bit wrong actually, I just checked the ff website and it says ov should usually happen around 24 hours after a positive ok, not 36! Still it is the next day, not the same day. Last month I got my positive opk two days before ff says I ovved so that must be why I misremembered that "fact" Wink sorry.

FuzzyOwl · 19/02/2016 22:51

I have been busy trying to distract myself during the 2ww but am only half way through. Hope everyone else is doing ok.

Writerwannabe83 · 19/02/2016 21:48

12-36 hours post OPK until an egg is released? I didn't realise the window was so big.

I had a positive OPK last Wednesday and Thursday so here I am testing at '9dpo' when potentially I could only be 7dpo.

I guess this is the problem with not temping...

MancombSeepgood · 19/02/2016 19:50

On CD 17 of 28/29 day cycle and still no positive opk or temp spike. Feeling so fed up with all this Sad seems like this cycle is hopeless already as my luteal phase will be far too short by the time I eventually ov.

giraffe I read on fertility friend that opk comes 12-36 hours before the ov, so you might still be able to catch the most important part of fertile window hopefully! Good luck fx (might have to try some of that evening primrose oil myself if it brings ov forward)

Writerwannabe83 · 19/02/2016 19:33

shenozzle - I think I've lost track of my dpo's Grin

Shemozzle · 19/02/2016 19:28

Ah, sorry thought you said Friday was 10dpo. Yeah 9dpo bfp would be unusually early.

Oh no giraffes fingers crossed it holds out a bit. Positive OPKs are just a predictor so you are still in with a chance.

GiraffesCantDoMentalArithmetic · 19/02/2016 17:27

Aaargh! Got a fairly dark line on my OPK today, which means positive will probably be tomorrow or day after. DH doesn't get back till Sunday so we'll miss most of the fertile window. Why does this cycle decide to suddenly be a few days shorter!!!Angry gives the side-eye to evening primrose oil

Writerwannabe83 · 19/02/2016 16:16

I'm 9dpo and it was BFN.

I'm staying positive though!!

Shemozzle · 19/02/2016 16:08

writer what was your 10dpo test today??

I'm on day 27 of 28 day cycle and bfn. Sad unless a really late implantation I'm out. Much more positive about it today though.

Kellz92 · 19/02/2016 15:49

I do it at the same time, have an alarm set for 6am. Had to do it at 5.35 today as DD woke up to wee. ive stuck with the first one
xx

queenoftheworld93 · 19/02/2016 14:43

You should take your temperature at exactly the same time before getting out of bed so just go with whichever was closest to that.

Kellz92 · 19/02/2016 11:20

This am i took my temp and it was 36.16 which is low for me so did it again right away and it was 36.24, should i use the first one even though its quite low?

It was 36.33 yesterday

xx

Tryingtowait · 19/02/2016 08:24

Thanks for everyone's advice guys much appreciated. Hoping it will be easier if I do it vaginally next month. So if it's 14 I ovulated then I'm 2dpo. Do not symptom spot and no early testing. Keep me sane guys!

Good luck tinypawz fx and baby dust to you

WhamBamThankYouStan · 19/02/2016 08:22

Thanks giraffe, OPK still positive today so DH is delighted his "window" has extended!

TinyPawz · 19/02/2016 07:48

Off to docs for d21 bloods, please please pray that I have ovulated. This was my last month of clomid and new doc won't prescribe anymore (my own doc retired).

GiraffesCantDoMentalArithmetic · 19/02/2016 00:19

whambam you will probably ov the day after a positive OPK so ov day and possibly the one after are fertile days.

I sometimes get two days of positive OPKs and ov after the 2nd one, so check tomorrow that the LH surge has gone, so you don't miss a potentially fertile day.

trying I would say cd 14 from your chart too. Hopefully FF will correct itself soon.

queenoftheworld93 · 19/02/2016 00:00

Kellz92 it's not working on my phone either

Kellz92 · 18/02/2016 23:22

Trying I will do it again tomorrow at work :) probably me I'm no good with technology lol xx
