Symptom spotters, tww - ers, slightly hysterical hormone laden ladies! Regs, lurkers, intermittent posters! Our raison d'etre is 'am I pregnant?' Depending on how much Ovia (Whybird) has pissed us off/messed with our fw she is either the oracle or a sanctimonious charlatan.

Just a warning, we move FAST! Our threads last on average, about a week before they're full.

Thread 8 , Welcome one and all! Group of weirdos, wee hoarders, covert opk or okp, depending on what your autocorrect decides addicts with a side business in CM management!

We do not judge, we enjoy TMI, we i encourage waiting to poas nobody listens and all the grossness you can find from a group of intelligent, articulate ladies. Fart stories make us laugh, stories about cervical mucus, pooing, cysts and nausea equally welcome. Although normal conversation is also encouraged.

Post your stats and add your dates. We have a register thanks to kat a resident piss stick queen runner loaaaaaads of bfp'ers who keep us positive! We don't have rules, we love a good symptom spot, we try to stay grounded and not be hysterical sometimes we manage it aswell

We like acronyms, we make some up: PET = Proper expensive test. We love the d(h)...which can of course mean 'dearest' or 'dickhead' why, what were you thinking?

Thanks Elle :)

ElleSarcasmo · 30/01/2016 16:12

iPatches I like your style! Grin

ElleSarcasmo · 30/01/2016 16:11

Holly Miley and Patches both had cramps...just saying! Fx for you.

ElleSarcasmo · 30/01/2016 16:06

Starky those look positive to me- get on it!

Ni sympathies with moving...it is such a hassle!

Just asked DH when my fertile week is...he was a week out. It seems I have some work to do! Grin

iPatches · 30/01/2016 15:41

Thanks for all the congratulations all. Will keep testing with the cheapies to see when I do get a BFP with them. I also plan to take another test tomorrow morning as that's when AF is due. I have had cramps all day, like yesterday, so being cautious.

I told DH about FW and told him that his presence was COMPULSORY and anything else - work, socialising etc - comes AFTER. He had daily updates from Ovia with me, and was forced to scrutinise OPK tests with me!!

Holly300 · 30/01/2016 15:13

Getting mild AF type cramps now - I could be out for this month :(

Holly300 · 30/01/2016 15:12

Stardust it can be quite frustrating... It's us who have to try our hardest to be in tune with our bodies and try to act as detectives to find out fertile window! It's so draining! And they have one job!! (Bit harsh I know, but true) The problem is that a lot of men (my dh included) don't want to feel like they're trying! And yes it can be a bit of a passion killer and quite pressurised, but a lot of them have no idea that we spend the whole month trying! I have tried to explain the fertile window to my dh - he kind of gets it!!

stardusty5 · 30/01/2016 15:04

I am telling DH about fw, as we are usually strict weekends only folk so he would think it very odd! I don't think he finds it off putting, but he is as keen as i am to concieve this year

StarkyTheDirewolf · 30/01/2016 14:16

holly I don't tell her ANYTHING barely anymore. Literally just put in af and dtd. She's too flighty and unpredictable. She is simply another way of keeping track!

Holly300 · 30/01/2016 14:12

I think I am done with Ovibitch. I'm going to delete her!

Even though I'm 12dpo, she has told me that I'm now in my proliferative phase! (The bit in between having your period and ovulation)

Don't let appearances fool you... She may be all pretty but actually she's just a bitch who doesn't know what she's talking about! I'll stick with trusty FF, who tells it like it is.

StarkyTheDirewolf · 30/01/2016 14:05

Aww ni moving is such a ball ache! I'm a pro though! I moved house 3 times in 4 years! Clear giant plastic boxes with lids were my friend! Did a room at a time and then just decluttered for the most part once I was unpacking the other end!

I think Dh has been researching black market clomid. I think because he's training for his comp people must be offering him steroids at the gym. Little do they know, he's a MASSIVE pussy with needles! He nearly faints and goes all pale and calm my! His ear was hanging off someone bit it and ripped it off and he was more concerned about having to have a tetanus jab! But he chimed I the other day with "have you heard of clomid? Or blehbleh i can't remember what it was he said " and then started telling me about it! I was like "babe, if we need that sort of thing.. .We will get it off a trained medical doctor, not some roided juice head down the gym!" He agreed!

Just checking in, have been reading and enjoying convos but can't remember enough to comment on!

Congratulations to the bfp-ers! Flowers Flowers

Stark shagathon time!!! ⌚
Pugmummy I wonder if you could explain to him in simple terms that your system (pcos etc) makes it more difficult so you will both have to work a little harder...ie you'll let him know the week when it's really important to have lots of sex? My other half seems to be ok with me telling him about FW and positive opk....but it stresses some people out. It sounds like trying to talk to him about it would help you feel a bit less stressed? (maybe give him some official stats? My OH thinks I'm talking shit unless I prove it to him in writing!)
Kath "made cake instead" I love that! Great idea!
Elle I love the idea of a surprise boy/girl announcement at birth so we'll wait Smile

Finally, massive Congrats ipatches!!!! Thanks for sharing the pics and symptoms...good to know the ic are rather crap compared to the clear blue!

Packing here...nightmare!! I have too much shit!!!

ZazzlesTheCat2 · 30/01/2016 13:31

Congrats ipatches!! Flowers

StarkyTheDirewolf · 30/01/2016 13:22

pug I didn't last cycle, but I've been more vocal about it this cycle. I showed him my opk yesterday poor man has no idea what he's supposed to be looking at but he's just loving my "more sex please" attitude! Grin ill have to wait and see and hope that it's a surge!

What's everybody up to today?

OP posts:
Pugmummy87 · 30/01/2016 13:12

Oh god, I'm sorry, congratulations ipatches!

Pugmummy87 · 30/01/2016 13:12

Do you guys tell your OH's when your fw is/when you are ovulating?

Dtd last night, but it took him a bit of persuasion. He doesn't know that I think I was ovulating, as I didn't want to put pressure on him to perform. Wondering though, if he did know, whether that would help?

He is one of those guys though that is in the 'it'll happen when it happens, let's just see what happens and don't stress about it'. Which I do get, but with my pcos and irregular cycles, it probably won't just happen without some effort!

harrietm87 · 30/01/2016 12:58

congrats ipatches!!!

So many bfps! I'm cd29 of 32/33 today. Ovia tells me I ovulated on 20 January but I think it was earlier so could be anything from 9-12 dpo. No symptoms whatsoever so think I'm deffo out for this month. AF not due til 3 Feb though so still have to wait! This month has seemed interminable!

LaraG13 · 30/01/2016 12:58

I've got waaaaay behind on here!!

Congrats ipatches!! Lovely news 💐

starky that was as dark as my OPKs got last month so I would be considering that a surge in my book.

Mazza22 · 30/01/2016 12:27

Congratulations ipatches wonderful news!!

miley so adorable how into it and adorable your DH is being - Can't see mine being like that at all! Oh I think is want to find out sex personally

miwelaisjacydo · 30/01/2016 12:27

Congrats ipatch

StarkyTheDirewolf · 30/01/2016 12:26

Possible proper positive opk? Darkest ones I've had. Cd 17 (of a 37-41 average cycle.) Certainly seems possible in the time frame?

What a lucky thread - hoping the rest of us can get some bfps too Grin

StarkyTheDirewolf · 30/01/2016 12:16
