Symptom spotters, tww - ers, slightly hysterical hormone laden ladies! Regs, lurkers, intermittent posters! Our raison d'etre is 'am I pregnant?' Depending on how much Ovia (Whybird) has pissed us off/messed with our fw she is either the oracle or a sanctimonious charlatan.

Just a warning, we move FAST! Our threads last on average, about a week before they're full.

Thread 8 , Welcome one and all! Group of weirdos, wee hoarders, covert opk or okp, depending on what your autocorrect decides addicts with a side business in CM management!

We do not judge, we enjoy TMI, we i encourage waiting to poas nobody listens and all the grossness you can find from a group of intelligent, articulate ladies. Fart stories make us laugh, stories about cervical mucus, pooing, cysts and nausea equally welcome. Although normal conversation is also encouraged.

Post your stats and add your dates. We have a register thanks to kat a resident piss stick queen runner loaaaaaads of bfp'ers who keep us positive! We don't have rules, we love a good symptom spot, we try to stay grounded and not be hysterical sometimes we manage it aswell

We like acronyms, we make some up: PET = Proper expensive test. We love the d(h)...which can of course mean 'dearest' or 'dickhead' why, what were you thinking?

How is everyone this evening? bearing end of TWW it's killing me.

Planeteer · 28/01/2016 17:52

Wow irregular! Honoured! Bloody love this thread. Warm and fuzzies all over the place.

Absolutely nothing to report from me, apart from acne to rival a 14 yr old. Thanks, face.

LisaTheGreek · 28/01/2016 17:51

Such lovely stories about faucets and farting tonight! Grin

I'd give anything for it to be me though..... Onwards and upwards!

IrregularCommentary · 28/01/2016 17:35

Oh, and yes, cannot stop farting either. Nothing I'd describe as bowel exactly though skip so don't worry.

IrregularCommentary · 28/01/2016 17:34

Shit, Miley that's super quick! I've not even managed to leave work to tell dh yet Angry

You ladies are the privileged few to know first (and to allow me some outlet for this!)

Mileymoocow · 28/01/2016 17:24

fx I'm having no bowel issues. Farting, however, is out of control!

I have an appt. with midwife on Monday and my 8 week appt on 2nd March! They move quickly.

FXSkip · 28/01/2016 17:17

Don't leave us irregular miley we need you!! Also....choc did you say that you experienced 'bowel issues' as a symptom? It seems to have lodged itself in my head and now I am terrified of getting a bfp as I have a severe phobia!!

Confusedcat1 · 28/01/2016 17:15

I can't wait to see all the first scans :) I love this group... Just saying... Oh god im feeling emotional! Come on af, put me out of my misery!

Holly300 · 28/01/2016 17:02

Ct I'm so sorry to hear :( Thanksa friend of mine used has pcos and stopped having periods (so no ovulation) and had to go on to clomid. She is now pregnant with her 3rd and 4th.

Feefeefs · 28/01/2016 17:00

A faucet! Shock

Congratulations irregular lovely line! Poppy see is so cute

IrregularCommentary · 28/01/2016 16:51

Haha, I know Miley - keep having to take a very sneaky peek. Not easy as I'm at work. Absobloodylutely desperate to go home and surprise dh with it. Totally agree with faucet as well, it's pretty gross down there.

I don't want to leave this thread either Sad

Mileymoocow · 28/01/2016 16:43

irregular I'm not sure i'll ever get sick of the line.

Confusedcat1 · 28/01/2016 16:36

Yay miley lovely line! But please don't leave us!

Mileymoocow · 28/01/2016 16:35

Thank you so much fx and feef. I can change oviabitch to the pregnancy version now. So long, cow. I'm so anxious that everything going well i'll have a little human that's calling me mummy not exactly in 9 months but you know what I mean. Unless I give birth to a genius

It's so surreal.

So! Who's resting tomorrow!

FXSkip · 28/01/2016 16:21

Congrats Miley I am so happy for you - big fat finger to everyone that said you were too young, you are going to be an amazing mum GrinGrinGrin

FXSkip · 28/01/2016 16:17

Also, for anyone interested I have been reading up on LH - apparently your body releases LH immediately after your AF finishes in order to stimulate the 'ripening' of the egg, CD 7 - 11. Then you get the surge which tells the egg to get its act together, mature and bust out of the follicle. Conflicting info on rates of successful pregnancy around day of Ov, but most agree that an unfertilised egg dies within 24hrs. So, my guess would be that we get those faint lines immediately after AF, but then they should stop completely if unfertilised.

Feefeefs · 28/01/2016 16:16

That's a lovely line miley!

IndiX · 28/01/2016 16:16

Yay Miley!!! you are definitely preggo, congratulations ThanksThanksThanks

Mileymoocow · 28/01/2016 16:14

Well guys after fretting all day that those IC'S were dodgy, I managed to pick up an frer from boots and now I actually believe that I'm preggo!

ImpYCelyn · 28/01/2016 16:02

Latinata yep, pretty much Smile ouch, I sympathise! I had to buy neurofen in France at Christmas - only available in proper pharmacies- €5 just for flipping neurofen! Where are you living?

latinata · 28/01/2016 15:46

I love that if you Google any symptom you find an article which starts "many people feel X in early pregnancy" and ends with "zero scientific evidence of a link to pregnancy"...

Impy, I think you have to go with your instincts. It sounds rather as though you are absolutely in love with France. Then we can share overseas war stories, like the fact I just spent about £50 on preggo tests!!

FXSkip · 28/01/2016 15:43

Latinata it actually could be - my friend says she has lots of women coming to her (GP) with headaches, anxiety, insomnia - all alcohol withdrawal symptoms - because they were regularly drinking a couple of glasses of wine each evening (6+ units) and then gave up for Dry-January

Feefeefs · 28/01/2016 15:40

Actually thinking about it last month I had had really bad insomnia around this time which I thought was a symptom! But was probably not far off my normal pattern

Oh god I'm symptom spotting now !
