Symptom spotters, tww - ers, slightly hysterical hormone laden ladies! Regs, lurkers, intermittent posters! Our raison d'etre is 'am I pregnant?' Depending on how much Ovia (Whybird) has pissed us off/messed with our fw she is either the oracle or a sanctimonious charlatan.

Just a warning, we move FAST! Our threads last on average, about a week before they're full.

Thread 8 , Welcome one and all! Group of weirdos, wee hoarders, covert opk or okp, depending on what your autocorrect decides addicts with a side business in CM management!

We do not judge, we enjoy TMI, we i encourage waiting to poas nobody listens and all the grossness you can find from a group of intelligent, articulate ladies. Fart stories make us laugh, stories about cervical mucus, pooing, cysts and nausea equally welcome. Although normal conversation is also encouraged.

Post your stats and add your dates. We have a register thanks to kat a resident piss stick queen runner loaaaaaads of bfp'ers who keep us positive! We don't have rules, we love a good symptom spot, we try to stay grounded and not be hysterical sometimes we manage it aswell

We like acronyms, we make some up: PET = Proper expensive test. We love the d(h)...which can of course mean 'dearest' or 'dickhead' why, what were you thinking?

All lurkers, stop lurking and announce yourselves! Hahahah!

The more the merrier in this mad house! 😂😂😂

latinata · 29/01/2016 10:27

Welcome, Maz! I too was a recent lurker but saw the error of my ways!

Ni4444 · 29/01/2016 10:24

Have you tested Lauren? I don't know much about coming off the implant...have you looked online to see (or does anyone here know) how long it takes cycles to get regular afterwards? I'm totally gonna recommend acupuncture keep harping on about it I know! to get your cycles regular! I know it sucks when things are messed up and bloody confusing. Sending lots of hugs your way 💓

Mazza22 · 29/01/2016 10:22

Hi please can I join? I've been lurking for ages and you ladies are brilliant! Have been is stitches at times. Congrats on all the recent BFPs.

My stats:
Name: Maz
Age: 30
ttc cycle: 2
AF due: approx 6th feb (have 35 day ish cycles and currently only examine CM to determine ovulation - so no flipping idea what I'm doing!)

Also I can't rem name but it's the lady who has been trying for a while and is 39- please see your gp for a referral as if needed and you are eligible for Ivf - nhs funding mainly ceases when you are 40. I knew someone who was referred too late and had to pay for herself even though she had just turned 40.

Loved the clotsnotclit and thanks for introducing me to mums net classics!

latinata · 29/01/2016 10:21

Congrats Lisa!! Amazing news!

Kat, could you add me to the 3 Feb group of love please?

Laurenowls · 29/01/2016 10:15

Confusedcat1 · 29/01/2016 10:00

Thanks jem xxx

Ni4444 · 29/01/2016 09:52

I believe that co5mo..I'm off so that I can pack and do all the address change jobs related to moving... But now I have some time to myself I wanna go Google rocking chairs and baby stuff!! At least I'm too early to symptom spot! Did you opk/temp/time dtd right this month? How are you feeling about your chances?

LisaTheGreek · 29/01/2016 09:50

Many congrats daydream - such lovely news! Wonderful stuff!

FXSkip - you have a kitten!!! I'm so jealous! I'm a crazy cat lady myself and have two 9-month cattens (still quite young but not proper cats yet, so we call them cattens). What do you have, and how adorably cute is it?

Ni4444 · 29/01/2016 09:42

Congrats Daydream you are upduffed!!!! 🏆 😀😀😀😀😀 How many cycles were you trying? Ha! You won't be sleeping now!

Aw Miley Dh being too excited to sleep...that's so cute...but sucks you missed out on your tea! I'll be so unproductive when I finally get my BFP -it'll be daydream central all day and night!

Co5mo · 29/01/2016 09:41

Ni I've been off work all week so that cup of tea has been so sweet all week, but boy, being off work seems to be making TWW drag. 7dpo and counting with absolutely nothing to report but then I shouldn't be expecting anything yet so I don't know why I'm torturing myself!

I'm very impressed with our number of positives. I guess it shows that targeting DTD with OPKS and temps does improve the positivity rate. I now just need to get DH to play ball next cycle.

daydream86 · 29/01/2016 09:39

I have, af due in about 3 days, I'm
pretty tentative because of
this spotting, aware it could
turn out to be a Chemi X

Ni4444 · 29/01/2016 09:38

I see a squinter daydream Get that Frer!!

Aw Fx that's a whole lot of sucking!! How come you want to avoid them? I've got a colleague who works with me on a Friday...talks incessantly...usually looking for reassurance and attention ...drives me bonkers, get no work done! I bet you'll be productive at least as you'll be keeping your head down! Can you treat yourself to a nice trip out for lunch? We'll keep you distracted on here today! 😉

Stark I'm so glad I temped. Even though I usually wake at different hours, and get up for a pee in the night etc it still seems to catch a good idea of whats going on with my hormones. The relief of having proof that I actually ovulate is soo nice! cycle 4...i was getting worried. If you think your hormones are a bit kinky, most professionals will be able to tell alot by looking at your temp chart so I'd definitely start doing it. How many dpo are you now?

Mileymoocow · 29/01/2016 09:37

ni a day off? What's that?! Day 12 of 19 at work here 😣 I was promised a cuppa before work but DP was up all night with excitement apparently.

daydream I'd say a definite positive for me! Have you tested early?

FX I can relate massively. I work with a complete oxygen thief that I have to smile very sweetly at because I'm an adult and I'm at work so I have to. Being fake is NOT my thing either which makes it difficult

daydream86 · 29/01/2016 09:35

well there's gonna be no prosecco or shots for me tonight or for a very long time it seems, I'm
in shock! jist nipped out and bought an frer and there it is! (I live very close to a boots lol)

IrregularCommentary · 29/01/2016 09:23

Very faint, but that's a line for me as well daydream

FXSkip · 29/01/2016 09:22

errrr yes Ni there is....try getting 3 hours sleep on a lumpy couch being woken alternately by howling wind/terrified kitten only to go in to work an hour and a half early to avoid a certain person only to find you will be alone in the office with that person ALL DAY LONG. I am not jealous of your situation in the least Angry Ha ha enjoy your day off Grin I'm 1dpo and want this to be over already....

Ni4444 · 29/01/2016 09:18

Yay!!! A day off 😀 Is there anything like being brought a cuppa tea in bed when the rest of the world is getting up and going to work?!

Hope you're all well and looking forward to the weekend ladies.

4dpo....fingers and toes are crossed!

SuchaJem · 29/01/2016 09:16

Hope you're alright confused, fingers crossed for those still waiting

FXSkip · 29/01/2016 09:15

daydream I'm no expert but I agree with choc on the 7hrs thing - its gotta be undiluted and all stashed up to work.

I think I can see a shadow of a line, so to be on safe side I would say if you are going to drink then do so slowly - ie with food - and stick to low units. One or two drinks consumed over a long period of time, rather than shots/cocktails/prosecco/spirits, and then test again in a couple of days?

LisaTheGreek · 29/01/2016 09:15

You're not out until you're out, Confused! x
