Symptom spotters, tww - ers, slightly hysterical hormone laden ladies! Regs, lurkers, intermittent posters! Our raison d'etre is 'am I pregnant?' Depending on how much Ovia (Whybird) has pissed us off/messed with our fw she is either the oracle or a sanctimonious charlatan.

Just a warning, we move FAST! Our threads last on average, about a week before they're full.

Thread 8 , Welcome one and all! Group of weirdos, wee hoarders, covert opk or okp, depending on what your autocorrect decides addicts with a side business in CM management!

We do not judge, we enjoy TMI, we i encourage waiting to poas nobody listens and all the grossness you can find from a group of intelligent, articulate ladies. Fart stories make us laugh, stories about cervical mucus, pooing, cysts and nausea equally welcome. Although normal conversation is also encouraged.

Post your stats and add your dates. We have a register thanks to kat a resident piss stick queen runner loaaaaaads of bfp'ers who keep us positive! We don't have rules, we love a good symptom spot, we try to stay grounded and not be hysterical sometimes we manage it aswell

We like acronyms, we make some up: PET = Proper expensive test. We love the d(h)...which can of course mean 'dearest' or 'dickhead' why, what were you thinking?

Hi flying and welcome - see the new thread link that starky posted above if you haven't already 😀

I'm new! Be gentle, it's my first post Blush

Name: FlyingSpaghettiM0nster
Age: 30
TTC #1
Cycle #2
3 DPO, CD 17
Trying to resist the urge to symptom spot because I know that you don't get symptoms until implantation but of course I'm crazy so over-analyse every twinge

Planeteer · 30/01/2016 17:30

Agreed, kwick you're thrashing me in the productivity stakes. Put your feet up and have an immediate biscuit!

Sorry feef. Hope next time's the charm x

Kathrino · 30/01/2016 17:22

Kwick, you've been far more productive than me and I have had a totally average week. You really sound like you've been through the mill though, definitely look after yourself tonight Thanks

Have created thread 9, Welcome aboard. We've flown through this one in less than a week! Madness! I always create the new thread before we officially run our of room on the last one to avoid people getting lost in the mêlée! Hope nobody minds! 😁

Kwick forget being productive!! You need to treat yourself to something nice. After the week you've had, try to use this moment to relax and recoup. You deserve it! ThanksWineCakeChocolate

StarkyTheDirewolf · 30/01/2016 17:20

kwick I'm so sorry you're feeling rotten, I imagine it must be emotionally and physically exhausting. Put your feet up and look after yourself, you deserve it. Flowers 🍰

I am finally caught up! You guys sure write a lot & fast!!!

I have had a really shitting week:
=very intense and stressful at work
= boobage bump is still oozing but less sore; am taking antibiotics which has caused upset in my ladygarden
= cried a lot at work this week - never a good thing
= I had the Dummy Embryo Transfer and 3D scan yesterday. DET went well - Doc thinks there will be no issues on that front when it comes to returning real embryos (fingers crossed I get that far!), however with 3D scan she found some unevenness on one side of my uterus cavity. This could impact implantation (and actually could be the reason the IUIs have not worked) and so I am having a hysteroscopy and D&C next Tuesday under general anaesthetic.

On a positive front, this will hopefully give me a much stronger chance that IVF will work.

I am feeling a tad delicate today - yesterday's procedure was intense and my whole week has been exhausting. Only productive thing I have done today is dye my hair and do two loads of washing.

Holly300 · 30/01/2016 17:07

Sorry Feef! Fx for next month ThanksCake

ElleSarcasmo · 30/01/2016 17:06

sorry for all BFNs Flowers

Kwick709 · 30/01/2016 16:58

Just catching up... on page 34

Starky I loved the clip - I just read about this recently and have been using the bags of loo-roll to prop my feet up - it definitely makes a difference!

Congratulations to all BFPs - so happy for you all! Star

Feefeefs · 30/01/2016 16:55

Your very right starky best possible timing! have got a bottle of prosecco in the fridge now and I least I didn't waste any pissy sticks! Your rules save money Smile

Feefeefs · 30/01/2016 16:53

Thanks kathrino to be honest I think oviabitch actually tricked me and we might have missed the FW? For next month FF and OVIA have given me completely different weeks so I think we'll just have to have a F2W as in fertile two weeks!

StarkyTheDirewolf · 30/01/2016 16:52

feef on the bright side, it's 5 pm, it's Saturday, it's crackerjack get your feet up and crack open the wine. And, it means your cycle has shortened so less time to wait in between testing! Sorry af got you though Flowers 🍷

OP posts:
Kathrino · 30/01/2016 16:49

I'm sorry Feef, lots of Wine and Cake for you.

Feefeefs · 30/01/2016 16:46

Sorry to caught up in my self! Congratulations ipatches

Feefeefs · 30/01/2016 16:45

AF got me it wasn't even due till next Tuesday or wed! Feeling a bit sadder than last month even though I was fairly convinced I wasn't pregnant (don't know why) but we had a lot more sex this month. Still trying to avoid pissy sticks and temping will give it another month or two anyway!

Sorry latinata and harriet your testing buddy is out!

So shorter cycle this month?! So can you put me on the list to test 28/29 Feb kat.

StarkyTheDirewolf · 30/01/2016 16:38

holly you're not out till you're out. It could be the right kind of cramps!

star that documentary sounds right up my street, I love things like that!

jem that's how I've approached this cycle! Just as much sex as possible. Dh understands it a bit better now, but is still fairly clueless for the most part. I've not been putting too much pressure on him and am feigning being horny, when really I'm just broody! But it seems both of us are generally more cheerful! So it's only a good thing!

OP posts:
SuchaJem · 30/01/2016 16:32

Congratulations ipatches!

Fingers crossed for those waiting.

We're back on the shag wagon. I'm not telling DH too much detail about my cycle, just initiating a LOT more sex, which he rather likes.

Kathrino · 30/01/2016 16:24

Ooh thanks for the tip stardust, I think we may need to revert to basic biology at some point!

Ni, I totally sympathise. Last time we moved I insisted on getting people in to pack and move and it was the best money we've ever spent. I would have lost my mind otherwise.

Holly, hopefully your cramps are a good sign and AF stays well away.

stardusty5 · 30/01/2016 16:19

I got DH to watch that Great Sperm Race programme the other week so i think that helped him to see that we need loads of his best swimmers!!

It's available on vimeo if anyone hasn't seen it
