Anyone else starting their 2ww?

Hi all

I think I am 2dpo and think AF is due 4th Feb so 13 days until I will be testing, if AF doesn't arrive.

I know it's not really possible to have symptoms this early but I have had frequent urination, excessive saliva and a slight metallic taste in my mouth today. I think it must be all in my head, because I don't remember having these symptoms the last time I had a BFP (which ended in an early m/c).

Is anyone else just starting a 2ww?

It's shit I think secretly every month we all get our hopes up! Even though we say we are sure it isn't our month!
Pour yourself a glass of wine!

Lily35 · 24/03/2016 20:13

I'll be honest I got my hopes up....but I'm with DH and I'm ok now. Thanks for asking. Ditto what was said below about being great to talk to everyone on here.

Theaks · 24/03/2016 19:56

I have been feeling queasy all morning too! I don't have any preg tests (loads of ov tests) otherwise I would have caved too!

You okay? Silly question I know!

Theaks · 24/03/2016 19:55

Oh no Lily. 😔

Lily35 · 24/03/2016 19:41

I caved and did a test as was feeling sick all morning. BFN :(

Theaks · 24/03/2016 13:25

Followed your advice Anne, someone left some lovely thorntons bunnies in the office! Well why not!!!!
When was the last we heard from her?
Do we move to a different forum in mumsnet, my friend is still friends with her mumsnet buddies!

AnneLovesGilbert · 24/03/2016 12:44

I absolutely do Kate!

What are we all going to do/where are we going to go when our BFPs show up?!

HopefulKate1980 · 24/03/2016 12:30

That's what I was thinking Anne! I hope she is ok. hopefully she is more than ok, if you know what I mean? Xx

AnneLovesGilbert · 24/03/2016 12:02

Hope you all feel loads better soon Flowers

Start the chocolate early Theaks?

I drank a little more than planned last night, feeling a bit delicate. Trying to count down the hours till home time and long weekend but I'm pretty much on my own at work and it's manic.

What happened to shopaholic85?

HopefulKate1980 · 24/03/2016 09:07

Me too! Got tummy aches and water retention which is always a sign of a period on its way. Finishing work today for Easter and can't wait. I'm gagging for a lie in.

Hope you all have lovely days. Xx

Lily35 · 24/03/2016 09:03

Morning, yes I'm due today or tomorrow! I've got massive headache today and feel really rotten. Hope it arrives soon !!

Theaks · 24/03/2016 08:41

Good morning ladies. Woke up this morning feeling queasy and crampy! Think AF on the way!!!!

Theaks · 23/03/2016 17:03

Might have a little chocolate Anne!
Is it mine and yours Lily due tomorrow! I'm feeling quite good today, no symptoms of either! Just feeling very wet! Sorry!!!
Just the waiting game!

Lily35 · 23/03/2016 16:30

Thanks Anne - I want to soon feel like you!

AnneLovesGilbert · 23/03/2016 16:25

Hope you have a safe, easy, comfy journey Lily and that af isn't too bad if/when she arrives.

Lily35 · 23/03/2016 15:48

Hi everyone
Hope you have a good Easter :) I'm seeing family and driving across. I had a big accident on the motorway 2 years ago so I'm nervous about the drive eek. Sure it will be fine!

Today it's like calm before The storm - no symptoms of AF or pg so just waiting.... I'm sure she will arrive in full force tomorrow!

AnneLovesGilbert · 23/03/2016 15:15

No hunt or no eggs Theaks? You have to have something! Chocolate

Thanks Kate. I feel like a new woman, this real hormones thing is something of a feelings rollercoaster. Life was simpler on the pill...

How are you doing? Sucks about being so bloated, can be really uncomfy.

We're off to the seaside! Candy floss, chips and sand between our toes. My step children are with us every weekend and we have extra days this weekend and they love a coastal outing.

Theaks · 23/03/2016 12:22

Easter! I'm looking forward to bank holidays! Got some decorating to finish! No Easter egg hunts for me!
How's everyone today?

HopefulKate1980 · 22/03/2016 20:59

Hi everyone!

I do love this thread. It is such a great comfort.

Anne so pleased AF has gone and you are feeling good again!

It's good to know re: DTD every other day. I didn't know that but I'll definitely put that into practice next month.

I am SO bloody bloated today - I can't wait for AF to come this weekend so I can start to deflate again! I bought a new pair of skinny jeans last week and this morning they couldn't fit around my distended bloated belly! My body is clearly so sensitive to the changing hormones these days.

What is everyone doing for Easter? Hope you all have lovely plans.

xx

Thanks for the tip!

Lily35 · 22/03/2016 17:24

Preseed is good ! But only in small doses i find! A little goes a very long way! Fx for someone's BFP soon!!!

AnneLovesGilbert · 22/03/2016 17:11

No such thing as TMI here I don't think! But hope you don't mind me asking. Might give that a go this month. We usually dtd most days and I was feeling ragingly sexy last cycle so it was at least once a day, sometimes more (absolutely no kind of boast, wasn't like that with my ex). But I can see how from a conception perspective you're not giving the sperm a chance to refresh/regenerate/etc.

Giving preseed a go too, and got DP on some man vitamins. Will dtd every other day over ovulation days. Fx some or all of that works.

(Hope I don't sound hideous, I think I'm making up for lost time with an ex who was never up for it, but worth checking if too much shagging can be bad for conception).

Theaks · 22/03/2016 17:05

We have been doing every other! Heard that was the best. However if we wanted to dtd we did a couple of days on run we did. But that's only occasionally!

Lily35 · 22/03/2016 16:43

Also without TMI, I think DTD everyday is hard work! DH seems to get tired of it...becomes a chore. I like the every other day idea and the month I did conceive it was every other. So here's to my next month - more laid back style!!!
