Anyone else starting their 2ww?

Hi all

I think I am 2dpo and think AF is due 4th Feb so 13 days until I will be testing, if AF doesn't arrive.

I know it's not really possible to have symptoms this early but I have had frequent urination, excessive saliva and a slight metallic taste in my mouth today. I think it must be all in my head, because I don't remember having these symptoms the last time I had a BFP (which ended in an early m/c).

Is anyone else just starting a 2ww?

Thanks Shopaholic!
Keep me updated on how you are getting on!
I'm keeping busy this month so I'm not symptom spotting. Sent myself mad last time!

shopaholic85 · 12/02/2016 14:05

Good luck Lily!

I'm on CD10. Expecting to ovulate in 6-7 days if same as last month, but haven't really thought about testing, so taking it a little easier than last month.

I'm ovulating today! So back in the 2ww! Really need to chill this time though :)

I just type the persons name in bold so no tagging required Lola

LolaStarr · 12/02/2016 10:33

Thanks both! 3dpo today (I ovulated a day later than I thought), I'm sooo impatient to start testing haha! Silly newbie question - how do you tag someone in a reply?

shopaholic85 · 10/02/2016 05:55

Lola, I am sorry for your loss Flowers Good luck for this month!

Really sorry to hear about your late MC Lola - that must have been tough. Good luck for this cycle :) I'm on cd 10 .....

LolaStarr · 07/02/2016 08:57

Hi shopaholic, just wanted to say I know exactly how you were feeling, I had a miscarriage at 21 weeks last year and found a lump a few months later. Mine turned out to be a fibroadenoma as well but I was suffering from depression and I had convinced myself it was cancer! We've just started trying again this month, first day of the dreaded 2ww today!

Lily35 · 03/02/2016 19:01

Sorry to hear AF arrived - good luck this cycle tho Shopaholic.

Any updates Kate?

shopaholic85 · 03/02/2016 13:52

AF has arrived so definitely out. Disappointed but at least my cycle has returned to normal after mc. My DH and I are living apart at the moment for work but we are together for the whole of my fertile window this month. This will my month!

Thanks Kate. I've been told to give it a month. If it doesn't go away on its own then they can remove it.

I'm sorry you've had a bad start to the week. Hope you're feeling better today? That's so odd that you're getting positives still. I bet you've never wished for a BFN so badly!

I got another BFN today at 12dpo on an early detection pg test. I don't know why I tested. I have no symptoms and pretty convinced this is not my month. I feel like I am torturing myself. Wish AF would just arrive but could be another 2 weeks as its my first after the mc.

shopaholic I'm so so pleased and relieved for you!!! What a relief. Great news. So what does it mean? Will it go away on its own?

I'm in a bad mood - tough Monday at work, still getting positives, no sign of AF and no idea when I can start planning again. I'm sure I'll feel better tomorrow after a sleep. Got to stay positive (just like my pregnancy tests!!)

X

shopaholic85 · 01/02/2016 19:22

Thanks - me too! Last thing I needed. Quite common apparently but you just never know that until it's you.

Glad you are feeling chilled. It's the best way to be when TTC - much easier said than done though! I just know that this is not my month so looking forward to joining you with the next cycle. Might even have a Wine when AF arrives! Haven't had a drop for 4 months now.

I'm chilled - hope I stay that way! Yes AF arrived but all done now. Going to start OPKs on cd 9 so relaxing til then!

Glad your lump was ok shopaholic - jesus that's scary though!

shopaholic85 · 01/02/2016 18:27

I feel really deflated after the BFN on 9dpo (though I know it was too early) and have no symptoms whatsover. I might do a test tomorrow, which is when Ovia says I can start testing, but have no early detection ones left. Maybe I should just wait to see if AF arrives?

How are you doing? You're on cd3? Does that mean AF arrived?

OP posts:
Lily35 · 01/02/2016 17:53

That's really good news !!!

Have you done anymore testing as well?

shopaholic85 · 01/02/2016 17:38

It's a benign lump! Something called a Fibroadenoma. GP said that it was probably caused by hormonal changes from when I was pregnant, even though I had a mc. I'm so relieved!

OP posts:
HopefulKate1980 · 31/01/2016 18:25

I will thanks Shopaholic
You too - wishing you tons of luck for tomorrow X

shopaholic85 · 31/01/2016 18:18

Look after yourself though. Busy work weeks make me skip meals and messes with my sleep. You are still recovering so be kind to yourself. And good that you are DTD still, but be careful of infections. We were told to use protection until I had my BFN.

OP posts:
HopefulKate1980 · 31/01/2016 18:03

Work will be busy this week so that will help. I don't feel like AF is coming so we are going to keep DDT and see what happens. All v confusing. X

shopaholic85 · 31/01/2016 17:59

Then it's really hard to say. I don't think anything is impossible as people can get pregnant in the time between MC and AF, but only if pg hormones have gone down to O first, which kickstarts ovulation.

Have you got anything planned to keep you busy while you wait?

OP posts:
HopefulKate1980 · 31/01/2016 17:54

I don't remember to be honest. I did a Opk & it was positive but could be picking up residual hormones..

shopaholic85 · 31/01/2016 17:54

Not insensitive at all. It must be really hard not knowing what the positive tests mean.

OP posts:
HopefulKate1980 · 31/01/2016 17:53

Sorry ignore me. It's insensitive of me to ask when you are worried about tomorrow shopaholic. Really hope it goes ok xx

shopaholic85 · 31/01/2016 17:52

Thank you both! Will let you know how I get on.

Kate, did you get a BFN after the mc and before you started to TTC again?

OP posts:
HopefulKate1980 · 31/01/2016 17:25

Last question - do any of you think there is a tiny chance I may be pregnant again? X
