Just to clarify, there's absolutely nothing wrong with either Emily or Oliver, they're classic, it just tends to be the middle class mummy mafia on baby names who decide that Sapphire is a cheap name or Shannon sounds chavvy or whatever. And I think it's unnecessary. Katie Hopkins gone mad sometimes there!

I'm so northern, I sound like Donna from two pints of lager and a packet of crisps. But Dh is Welsh so I can get away with some Welsh names. I know a summer born baby called Winter. And I have a niece called Ocean. I'm allowed slightly out there names I think, because I like them! Grin as are we all!

Some people just get really judgemental and rude and stereotypical and mean, especially on there. And depending on the day depends in the feedback, sometimes I think everyone on those threads have children called Emily and Oliver. Lovely names, but safe, if you know what I mean. It's all a much of a muchness!

Congratulations lauren! Flowers

stark beware of Google self diagnosis!

harrietm87 · 22/01/2016 22:55

feef I'm Irish too!
I quite like the baby name thread - I love planning names and it gives me ideas!

I'm definitely giving my babes Irish names - I think they're beautifulSmile

Feefeefs · 22/01/2016 22:35

Actually I may never venture out of our lovely thread again there's some very odd and vengeful characters on here! I like our no judgement supportive bunch Smile

Laurenowls · 22/01/2016 22:35

Anyone else feel bloated towards the end of their cycle?? Feel like my stomach is massive and feel knackered even though i slept well...

LisaTheGreek · 22/01/2016 22:17

Happy Friday everyone!

Congrats Lauren! Wonderful news!

Sorry to hear about people's AF arriving. I know it's nowhere near the same but over the last four hours I've gone from normal health to the worst cold ever. Suddenly came over with this horrible achy and fuzzy head, runny nose, and sore throat. Was out shopping and suddenly all the lights were way too bright and I could barely stay standing.

In bed with lemsip now.... :(

Kwick709 · 22/01/2016 22:15

Thank God it is Friday!

Boobage bump is still in volcanic stage and now have massive bump on my chin - which is highly unusual for me. Have no idea was is going on but I am knackered so off to bed in a mo.

Sweet dreams everyone.

Feefeefs · 22/01/2016 22:12

Oh god tho starky I'm Irish and that thread is painful I must never look at it again or will be reduced to bitchy comments

Evergreen15 · 22/01/2016 22:12

Hahaaaa pluck out your ovaries GrinI agree!! Plus what is this business of some names only are appropriate if the baby is born on a certain month??

Is this how people introduce themselves? Hi, my name is Ruby, I was born in October Hmm

Too many rules!!!

We are happier here, talking about pissy sticks and farts GrinGrinGrin

StarkyTheDirewolf · 22/01/2016 22:04

Ooh ever honestly some people get sooo marked over there! I rarely contribute! If I volunteered my name choices I'd be hung drawn and quartered, they'd probably pluck out my ovaries for good measure too! People get so angry about baby names! The way I see it, the chances of any bean of mine being a high court judge are slim to Nada so if I want to call my imaginary sprout something outlandish then I totally shall! Grin

Chocolate baileys is happening. Fuck false positives Angry

Ni4444 · 22/01/2016 21:24

Fab news Lauren! Looking forward to a nice strong line with FMU tomorrow! Yes, Evergreen we say the weirdest things to each other on here! 😁

Miley and Stark so sorry for your losses ♥
Stark I've been trying to ignore it but...the strongest opks I've had this month (my first proper month of ic opks) were straight after my period! Although I've mostly been poas in the evening after work so maybe that's why the lines are so light despite FW supposed to be starting wishful thinking ...I'll have to post a pic for your thoughts. You got a second surge last month too thought, right? Are you temping? My bbt looks like I ovulated last month, then temp reduced as expected from AF on so it looks like everything is working right?! 😕

ZazzlesTheCat2 · 22/01/2016 21:13

congrats lauren Flowers

StarkyTheDirewolf · 22/01/2016 20:34

miley I'll ask about it when I go for my smear, but I've pretty much decided that if nowts happened by the end of June and I'm still getting the opk results like I am then ill go to the doctor. Chances are they'll just tell me to come back in another 6 months (Christmas ) because I have a feeling they won't do anything before we've been actively ttc for 12 months. I've basically just Google diagnosed myself which is really daft.

Woooo yay lauren

ImpYCelyn · 22/01/2016 20:01

Glad to hear it Miley Smile

Mileymoocow · 22/01/2016 19:57

Sorry to hear starky, life's so shit at times. Had a pretty horrible last 6 months of 2015 and I think oddly it helped my anxiety. People have much bigger things to worry about other than if your OH has somehow crashed his car and is now in hospital just because he hasn't text you when he got to his destination yes, really. I was nuts are you thinking of being tested for pcos? I remember you mentioned it a while back.

impy OH is in nights tonight but he didn't leave before making sure I had plenty cake and a hot chocolate. Think I worried him when I came through the door looking like I'd gone 10 rounds with Tyson because of my mascara.

ImpYCelyn · 22/01/2016 19:51

So sorry to hear that Miley. Make sure you take good care of yourself this evening.

Jamjar12 · 22/01/2016 19:50

Haha, I hope it's a good sign Lara, my actual name is Lauren too! Although, it's a pretty damn common name as I'm sure the others will again! I'll pick up any luck that's left over for my Feb cycle!

StarkyTheDirewolf · 22/01/2016 19:49

That's pretty much h what hit home for me too, my dgf passed away last August and it really resonated that life is too short. We only get one go at it unless you're a bhuddist so living it is important.

After a cursory Google, a continuous high lh level like mine appears to be is indicatory of pcos. Excellent. Fuck Google! Grin

Mileymoocow · 22/01/2016 19:46

starky I wild run some of mike over to you if I could. I'm sure someone posted on an earlier thread some women do have a high concentration so maybe that's it which is shit because how will you know when to poas would be awesome if you ovulated directly after af tho!

Thank you, it was pretty devastating and I still now struggle to believe it but I guess that's the main reason I just knew I was ready for a dc, the whole life's too short really did hit home.

StarkyTheDirewolf · 22/01/2016 19:42

miley I'm so sorry about your friend Flowers

No clue about the okp's though. Did another one today, same as the last two, not quite positive. I'm quite interested to see this through though because it either means I literally ovulate practically directly after af, I have a super high concentration of lh in my system just generally or, most likely, my okp's are fucked! I'm doing some research on it now, because I have literally git no idea!

imp I'm not sure what to suggest other than maybe do another test with fmu and see what happens!
