Thread 7! Welcome one and all! Group of weirdos, wee hoarders, covert opk or okp, depending on what your autocorrect decides addicts with a side business in cm management!

We do not judge, we enjoy TMI, we i encourage waiting to poas nobody listens and all the grossness you can find from a group of intelligent, articulate ladies fart stories make us laugh

Post your stats and add your dates. We have a register thanks to kat, a resident piss stick queen runner, loaaaaaads of bfp'ers who keep us positive! We don't have rules, we love a good symptom spot, we try to stay grounded and not be hysterical sometimes we manage it aswell

In December (my ttc first month) I had random dizziness, sickness & vomitting every morning for 1 week, sore nipples for 2 weeks ... And a bfn at the end of it. Have come to the conclusion that coming off the pill completely messed with my hormones, even though I was convinced it hadn't, and that I would get upduffed straight away. It's so, so hard not to symptom spot.

Holly300 · 23/01/2016 17:46

You're totally right snow! I think I have to try not to pin all my hopes on a few symptoms and take it all with a pinch of salt. 2ww feels like a lifetime!!

Snowdog37 · 23/01/2016 17:40

Hello newbies and fellow bus mates 😊

I enjoyed my Pity Party for One. Now I'm cd2 and back in the saddle! The thing I am learning (the hard way) is anything can be a symptom but most likely nothing nothing is actually a symptom until you've got a confirmed bfp. I had what looked like "implantation" cramps and pink spotting 8dpo. It wasn't. Af still came. So to save my last fraying thread of sanity I'm now going to assume the computer says no until a pissy stick says yes. No matter what my body does.
This af business is crap though. I have to shower before I go to the gym AND afterwards as I feel so gross.
As for baby names I LOVE so many. I will need quads if I want to use all my favorites.

Moggysinger · 23/01/2016 17:09

Hello mi and sucha fellow newbies!

Holly300 · 23/01/2016 17:08

Checking in for today... Haven't been contributing to the thread much in the last couple of days as I was feeling really crap. Feeling a lot better than I was a few days ago though and cold nearly coming to an end - just been left with annoying cough and feeling sorry for myself.

So now I'm 5dpo and driving myself mad with the symptom spotting. There have been a few but it's still a bit early, so I'm convinced that my body/mind is playing tricks with me. One of the things I've really noticed is how gassy I am and am burping all the time - not on purpose! I'm not really a burper so it is a little unusual for me. I googled it and found that it is very common in early pregnancy and is from the rise in progesterone affecting the digestive system. Progesterone is produced as early as when the egg is fertilised - so could be... I'm probably just clutching at straws though! Anyone else had this?

Moggysinger · 23/01/2016 17:06

Ahhh thanks guys for the welcoming comments. Kat yes please I would love to be on the mighty list! Privacy pretty much goes out of the window on here doesn't it! Grin
Impy my poas protocol has previously been to test a couple of days after I thought AF was late ... If I can sit on my hands til then will do the same thing this time so Kat could you put me down to test on 6 Feb? if af not reared her ugly head by then ... Also gonna get me some of those internet cheapies everyone uses Smile

miwelaisjacydo · 23/01/2016 17:03

I should add to my previous post that they do to me.

Holly300 · 23/01/2016 16:57

Sucha, what symptoms have you had? And do you think you'll wait until Thursday to test?

miwelaisjacydo · 23/01/2016 16:57

Oh hello moggy

miwelaisjacydo · 23/01/2016 16:56

such hello there I know what you mean it's horrible the wait and every little thing I think is a sign. Got cross with DH yesterday when I asked did my boobs look different to him. He answered no. Well it nearly started world war 3!!!
starky thanks I will enjoy the eve and what I want to eat.

Holly300 · 23/01/2016 16:55

Welcome to moggy and sucha :)

SuchaJem · 23/01/2016 16:48

Hello can I join too please?
I'm 32 and tried for the first time this month. AF is due on Thursday. I feel like a ticking bomb or something Confused Symptom spotting like a woman possessed!

KatOnATinRo0f · 23/01/2016 16:40

confused no .... we are all on different cycles, which i know makes the stat completely meaningless. its more of a % of us who have become pregnant "at any time" since we started the thread. which is still nice to see :D

Im currently CD12 on cycle 6... really thought last month was "the month". now it wasn't I'm feeling like.. it may happen at some time but who knows... might be a year.

re diet- i eat fruit nuts and fish anyway, i havent done any research into what i should/shouldnt be eating though... whats the verdict??

Kathrino · 23/01/2016 16:35

Ive thought about the diet thing quite a lot zazzles but, at the moment, I've decided to just focus on eating as healthy as possible. As I do most of the meal planning/cooking, I can also make sure that DH is eating well too. That said, my diet today has mainly consisted of toast and leftover Christmas chocolate. Sadly, I'm not convinced that there's much evidence that chocolate orange boosts fertility although if I get my BFP this month, I'm totally claiming that it does.

StarkyTheDirewolf · 23/01/2016 16:33

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/antenatal_clubs/2530330-tcc-1-grads-thread -grads thread for the bfp'ers.

I've not changed my diet, to be honest, we eat fairly well anyway, in terms of veg anyway cause I slam it all in my soups and zizz it up, I've got to start eating more fruit though and I have to stop relying on vitamin drinks for everything! If nothing else, they make your wee neon! Dh has a phenomenal diet, I'm still mentally about 7 and refuse to eat broccoli and cauliflower and stuff. I've only just managed to eat sweet potato recently, and I'd rather lick my own arsehole than eat a mushroom!

confused I think a lot of us are on cycle 2-3. I'm about to be thrown onto the Feb bus / cycle 3. You on 2 too?

So have any of you ladies changed your diet to boost fertility? I've been reading fruit, nuts & fish are good..

KatOnATinRo0f · 23/01/2016 16:26

moggy welcome. are you happy for me to add you to the register? (Im not sure how long you have been following our little (HUGE) thread, but I am ultimate list keeper as we kept getting super confused with who was testing and when. I repost it every day or so and try to keep it updated. If you would prefer a little more privacy than 49 of us screaming HAS YOUR PERIOD ARRIVED YET IT IS DUE TODAY WHERE ARE YOU?? then you are more than welcome :)

anyone else's app not connecting, or just me?

skip really want to see room, but def not DH sort of thing so will have to wait till dvd :(

lauren runner may have missed this thread i havent seen her on the new one? i can't remember what the grad thread is called as i have ignored all of those posts due to lack of fertilised seed

Laurenrl · 23/01/2016 16:10

Where is this grads thread runner? I've had a look and probably scrolled right past it like a numpty

FXSkip · 23/01/2016 15:51

Oh choc I can't imagine.

Ha ha impy good thing we a don't greet people like this in real life!! 😂 'Hello. Nice to meet you. Pissed on a stick lately?'

Chocaholic88 · 23/01/2016 15:20

skip I'm pulling hair out. I'm going insane. You just can't heard my mad woman screech when I type in here 😂😂

elle isn't it odd! We showed her the test photos too and I put in two negatives just to see if she could genuinely see a line in them and she picked out the 4 with lines straight away... so we weren't imagining them!

ElleSarcasmo · 23/01/2016 15:17

Choco that is funny about your MIL. Your symptoms sound so preggo, will be amazed if you're not!

Kathrino · 23/01/2016 15:16

ImpYCelyn · 23/01/2016 15:15

Kathrino · 23/01/2016 15:14

Welcome Miggy! I had a v similar Ovia-induced meltdown last weekend so I know exactly how you feel. I must step away from my iPhone next month...

ElleSarcasmo · 23/01/2016 15:12

River is a lovely name for a girl Miley!

I thought you were Greek too Lisa!

Giggling at Starky's DH's amazing sense of smell! Sadly mine has not shown any such talent...

Welcome Moggy!

We have been looking at houses today...had a bit of a wobble about wanting the baby to go in it Sad
