Is waiting before ttc (metaphorically) killing anybody else or is it just me?!

Hi there,

My husband and I have been talking about ttc late this year after I (quite surprisingly) became very bloody last year but I gotta say the wait is killing me! It's all I can think about & I know I should be using this time to knock a few things off the pre-baby list (lose weight, travel etc) but I just want to start ttc now! It's making me quite moody actually. We've got a Baby bucket list holiday planned for November so realistically I know we can't try but I guess it's just getting to me a bit at the moment. Is it just me?

"Dear Husband" :)

True enough & it should be a good year to trick some things off the baby bucket list!

What does dh stand for Kraggle? Still learning acronyms on here! Blush I'm assuming it's your other half anyways finger crossed their job is safe! I'm planning on coming off the pill in May too so my cycles can get back to normal before ttc.

Me! We are waiting until my implant needs taking out after its 3 years which is in May, or until we find out if dh's job is safe during a restructure, which ever comes first. It seems like a lifetime to wait to ttc. It will be for number 2 and i loved being pregnant the first time round.

It will though, know it doesn't sound like it in January, but time does fly. Keep busy!

Thanks Alicescarlett, reassuring it's not just me! Grin Will try & focus on the benefits of being child free to distract me. I'm sure the end of the year will be here before I know it Hmm

Very bloodyGrin.

I was the same for years, it came in waves over the years, at times it was really frustrating.

Focussing on all the things I could do while not pregnant/with a child was helpful. Waiting is a right pain though.
