Hi lissy and welcome! I like the ov tests necause they give me something to do before things get interesting. I think the first 10 days of the cycle are worse than the dreaded 2 week wait!!!

I am 8dpo and I now have 32 points on FertilityFriend's symptom-spotting-encourager. My temps dipped very slightly yesterday, but are still well above the cover line. I seriously considered POAS this morning. I am losing it. Will try to hold out till the weekend, but there's no way I'm lasting till AF is late!

Kellz that all sounds VERY exciting! Fingers crossed... I don't have ANY symptoms so far except sore nipples. Usually my whole boobs are sore after ov so still wondering whether I have or not. And I forgot to bloody take my temp this morning.

But we did have sex in fact I forgot to take my temp because I was up at 5.50 putting the preseed in ready to jump DH when his alarm went off at 6. I mean, someone give me a fricking medal!!! That's dedication, right?!

Lissy Id recommend Ovulation tests, more accurate to tracking your ovulation. Also very addictive haha.

Im still feeling pretty pants! feeling really sick, it clears up, im starving so i have something to eat, then i feel really sick again, sometimes i even throw up. Hoping its all a good sign as it doesnt feel like a bug, it does feel similar to my morning sickness last time however not getting hopes up.

I'm now CD15, another -ve opk this morning. Didn't ov until CD28 last month, really hope it's not that long again this month started SMEP on CD11 so hoping that will work for us this month.

Thanks neehooo, kitty and grey! A much more definite line this morning, so I am feeling tentatively excited, although of course it is such early days all I can do is keep my fingers crossed it sticks. DD is only 7 months and we live in the states (so no family help), hence I'm also having occasional moments of, oh my goodness what have we done!

Havetobe, sorry to hear you're worried, but I know lots of people who have gone on to have healthy babies after bleeding/spotting in early preg.

Lucinda, your doc sounds like a gem, fingers crossed for clomid next month, sooo many people seem to conceive first time on it!

I'll look into that giraffes. It's only my second cycle and didn't pay much attention last month so I'm just trying to get used to it all again!

I've been out to buy some FRER's but daren't test now as I am only CD29 and might not get a line. Going to test first thing tomorrow. Really don't think I can go through this again but what can you do? I want this last baby so badly I just have to keep trying and hope for the best.
My last mc was between 5-7 weeks so just want to get past that.

havetobe you must be really scared. Have you done another test? Is the line getting any darker?

Evening all, hope you don't mind me staying on the bus for a bit.
Today has been a bit of a bummer, started bleeding this morning just after the school run, wasn't very much but had really painful cramping with it. It tailed of after a few hours and seems to have gone now but am feeling a bit scared in case it is AF coming after all. Just trying to take one day at a time as can't really relax this time. Did find a few babyscan places near me but costs £99 which is quite a lot for a quick reassurance scan.
Who is in their 2ww now and next to test?

nenehoo it went up to 24 tiday! it's because I imagine so many symptoms

littlegreycat I might have read something about bf-ing reducing levels of progesterone which reduces the amount of EWCM. Worth looking into evening primrose oil?

Congrats Angharad. This is all very exciting. I'm still waiting for ovulation which I'd have expected by now on cd16 but no signs of much on opks and only the littlest smidge of ewcm today. I'm sure it's complicated by breastfeeding but I just wish I was sure it was going to happen and I'm not really... argh. Frustrating!!

Giraffe 16 points is impressive! I've only ever managed 7!

My temps haven't gone up yet, although I got a pos OPK. So have I ov'd?! My nipples are very sore... And don't think that's DH's doing haven't been religiously taking temp at same time as I usually do as I'm trying to take a more relaxed approach this month.

Thanks giraffe I'm quite relieved - at least I won't have to wait and wonder for another nearly 2 weeks for AF. I should know this week if I've ov'd or not and can probably most likely rule out this month and hopefully get some meds for next month.

That's good news lucinda. If you are out this month, at least you can be positive next month could be different.

Quick update - spoke to GP today who confirmed PCOS. Arranged for day 21 bloods to be taken tom and if not ovulated this month will look at medication to stimulate ovulation next cycle. He was really helpful actually.

Thanks - I am pretty sure I'm out this month though. I'm going to contact doc today, see what the scan said and what they can suggest.

Well our bodies do like to keep us guessing! As you say, AF or otherwise will be the only certain sign, unless you go down the bloods route. When will you contact your GP again?

(Also my DS has been bed crashing us every morning about 3-4am so I think my temping has been pretty erratic and may not be reliable....clinging on to straws much?!?)

giraffes pretty level which is why I was also doubting ovulation. I had a spike day of my first pos opk but then it dropped. Slight rise today 48 hrs after last pos opk. I will see what happens over next few days but I've had inconsistent ewcm and much less pain than I'm used to when I ovulate....not looking too good!! But - it's not over till AF arrives so I'll not give up hope.
