Okay ... OPK strips... Anyone use the "one step" ones from Amazon? Does the test line ever get as dark as the control line? Here's mine from today. Was excited that something was happening. On CD7 though. I did it about 11am. Have major migraine so have been in bed all day and not done anything in supposed to do today, which is rubbish!

I've got weird yellow creamy ewcm. Keep thinking af was here overnight but nope just cramps and this freaky yellow stuff. It smells sweet sorry for tmi. Temps went up a bit since yesterday. Sore throat and runny nose are back with a vengeance. Just my luck I'm going to be ill tomorrow. And have dubious fanny juice. (Thanks Stark for coining that phrase!) No sore boobs, no frequent peeing. Just a general feeling of being wired plus ill. Joy.

But it's only one more sleep til 🎄

Been having lots of dull aches/cramps.. Not sure what that's about?

Think my first cycle was 29 days Dub, definitely got off lightly compared to some of you! However my first AF off pill was 10 days! It just went on and on!

Just wrote another post which seemed to disappear when my internet cut out (seems to be the story of my life, then again do live in the country!). When that happened last time the post reappeared so be prepared for a random one!

Well I got af this morning and I actually feel really happy about it. Glad my body is getting back to normal and that I can eat, drink and be merry over Christmas without worrying! Here's to a fresh start in the new year and 2016 baby-making!

OH threatened to buy me an air freshener to walk around with as the farting is so bad. I felt quite proud

Dub like you, I have no idea about my cycle having been on the pill since age 16. So confusing!

I am going to start with OPKs if no BFP this month. I'm using Ovia too (tried to download fertility friend and it wouldn't work with my old phone operating system!) and I'm pretty sure I ovulated way earlier than it said my fertile week was. I might have put cycle length in wrong because of only having had 2 off the pill? Who knows!

Also have really sore boobs (but only 4 days dpo so it means nothing)

drink I prefer fertility friends to ova. I find it more user friendly. I can't comment on accuracy though as first cycle.

So FF informs me I ovulated on CD21 and we dtd that day ( but not in the three days before) AF due 5th Jan testing day 9th. According to FF I am Amber with my timing. And would explain why my opk were negative must have missed the surge before they arrived. Any testing buddies?

In-laws have arrived for the wedding. Got given a gift and card from one of their family friends last night. Basically said please make d-almost-h's parents grandparents next year (they are from another culture where this is entirely acceptable!). I was tempted to say that we were trying really hard but bit my tongue, hearing about our sex life is perhaps a bit too much. Then MIL asked if there was good news already.... I was like dude give me a chance! Sigh, they are lovely and I adore them but I am feeling the pressure a bit!

OH says I let off the most disgusting farts when drunk. One time he was cuddling me when I needed to go to the loo and he jokingly wouldnt let me go, so I farted in his arms. Romantic.

bunch that's brilliant! I'd take whatever helps. No point in suffering when you don't need to. Then you might get more sleep.

I've still got really pleasant not cramps. Apparently completely normal. My SIL who has 3 DC tells me I can take paracetamol for them but I feel if I do that how on earth do I expect to manage with labour?! They've woken me up though and are quite horrid.
Good news is I'M HOME!! Gotta get all the gifts together, wrap some runnish for the dog (he loves unwrapping presents, best it's his own and no one else's!!) and do my nails and then we're off to my parents. I'm so excited , my first Christmas at home in 2 years

Yeah I'm basically organised, going to a friends on Christmas Day so don't need to worry about cooking. I'm hosting a party this evening for some friends and neighbours you know when you think why did I suggest this?! So I'm now lying here thinking of what needs to be tidied, cooked and bought. My husband has just rolled over asked if I'm ok then instantly fallen back asleep I'm so jealous I want to strangle him.
What is fertility friends? Would you say it's better than ovia? X

We braved tesco last night for the last little bits. Staying with pil so don't need much, we all take a few bits sof they don pay for all thenquiries food. All presents sorted, just need to finish wrapping. I'm working a half day today, so will end up doing it this afternoon when I'm back. How about you?

Haha that made me smile, guess I'm spoilt in the sleep department normally. It's bloody annoying though waking up and I tell myself not to go on my phone but I cave in with boredom every time.

Ladies I've decided that farting cannot be a sign of conception for me, as I'm still trumping like a trooper. Bloat has all gone now though, which is lovely! We don't have dogs, but do have reptiles. They stink when they've pooped. So we can't blame the animals. My husband is fabulous, but a tad gentile, he would be horrified if I let rip in front of him.
