Indi Yeah, 1st day of af is cd1 I think so my cycle was 28 days. 6 days of non stop shagathon should have us in pretty decent shape. Here's to a February conception for us (and anyone else riding with us)

Yay miley we can be cycle buddies, when I count my cycle do not include today as part of my last cycle? So last month I came on 6th which would be day 1, so that's a 30 day cycle right? Yeah my plan is to get really fit and in pretty good shape this month ready for pregnancy aka damage limitation before I am upduffed
Choc you will find out very soon, I'm still optimistic for you though. I've just text my husband saying how happy I am and thank god I don't need to analyse imaginary f*cking lines anymore!! Haha!

I take asda multi vitamins, cod liver oil capsules ( I have bad knees) and folic acid. I found that everything the pre natal tabs had in so did the asda ones for a lot cheaper tight arse over here.
AF has just arrived and I've just done a little happy dance around my bedroom, thank god the self doubt/waiting game is over. My new goal for this month is to lose some Xmas weight and I want to look like Sarah Stage when I'm pregnant extremely unrealistic but I can dream.

Bubba I absolutely have that feeling like AF has started, began alongside spitting about 6 days ago, was sure it was early AF and counted myself out. It never really started properly, im now a now a day late (based on a 28 day cycle) and the feeling hasn't really stopped. Trying to wait until test turn up with the supermarket shop tomorrow but might make DH go home via Boots tonight.
DH is now drawing up actual plans for the fantasy house that we are NOT building - maybe it's the male version of nesting...!
I have explained to him that pregnancy might still be on the cards this month and I should maybe get a test, his response was 'does it actually matter? I mean why do you need to know immediately?' I provided a short explanation re. What I could and couldn't then eat... He spent a good half hour being gleeful that the lovely Brie and soft blue cheese it the fridge would be all his...

So I'm back from the doctor! She's got me a blood test booked for Friday and said not to worry too much about the negative tests?! She also said if it was Chemical then I should be bleeding by now...

So I'm still confused. Don't know whether to be cautiously optimistic or just decide I'm not pregnant and my body has lost the plot. Eurghhhhhhh 😣😣😣

Anyone taking vitamins/anything in addition to folic acid?

Emanne me too. I thought the same yesterday. I no totally understand why anyone on cycle 2 doesn't test until the proper date. I felt thoroughly dispirited, even though I had set expectations for a BFN and I KNEW it was too early there was the tiny voice thinking that maybe i would BEAT SCIENCE. We have the same cycle i think. AF due for me 11th/12th.

i.e. 9DPO only 2% of women get a strong positive.

LittleBelle90, emanne, Ni, starkly and spacepoodle hang in there this week feels so long! Ovia is telling me 2 more days but I'm going to wait until Friday. Boobs are looking fuller than usual but not any fuller than some pre-AF days...

Oh emanne I was tempted myself but I have CB ones and they cost a bomb (peeing on bank notes lol!!) so I asked DH to put them somewhere where I need a chair to reach so I really have to go out of my way to POAS!

miley yeah it's a bit like before AF is due so not too painful just the before hand dull cramps

I'm 4 days away from testing now according to Ovia although I have given in and poas yesterday evening no fmu so obviously would be neg! And it was, knocked my confidence a little bit in a way I was expecting a bfp even though only 8-11dpo why do I do this to myself!! Bubbly feeling in belly today though... Hoping for bfp's all round x

Also, in real life I thought I could see a line but on the pictures am far less convinced (takes crazy, puts in back in crazy box with strong padlock for a few more days).

Bubba were your cramps anything like af? I've been cramping for about 3 days almost constantly now and it's really out of character for my af. Though if I was of surely I would have had a line this am so I'm clutching at straws really

Mileymoo mine the same! The news of a fertile window was met with "Really? So why do women use contraception all month round then?". Sigh. SUCH a long way to go with explaining......where do you start with that! I feel like maybe a GCSE science textbook might be the best place to start.

Thanks IndiX and Emanne - I think I just needed to share the crazy a little bit (and definitely not normal about this Indi). Even more embarrassingly, I come from a family of doctors and all are FIRMLY of the view that there is NO POINT TESTING UNTIL at least the day before AF is due (or ideally the day of) (which I obv totally ignored).
