Starky if you hold out until the 10th then I'll test with you!! I have a friend visiting that weekend so probably won't test until later on the 10th when she has left. AF is due that day, and absolutely no symptoms so far (although probably only 7Dpo) so currently I'm not too optimistic (we were also apart for the start of my FW) but we'll see. Just gonna minimise alcohol intake that weekend!

Someone mentioned strong smelling urine a few pages back...I've had that on and off since starting the conception vitamins! I worried about having a UTI but it's just the vitamins... I get the same reaction when I use protein powder too!

Mileymoocow · 03/01/2016 13:55

Everyone sounds as though they're having a shitty time today choc shelb indi I'm going to eat chocolate and be pms-sy aaaaall day because I'm allowed.

starky side fringe sounds good. Lipstick is a waste of time I find. Far too much effort and I don't have the patience to use lip liner so I end up looking like I've been to clown school. Here's to restarting TTC cycle 2 Wink

My opks are just IC'S from amazon. Interested to know if there are any better without paying over the odds because mine were a little all over the place this month

Chocaholic88 · 03/01/2016 13:54

Eat more chocolate indi... cures all problems, kinda, it doesn't, but whatever lol! I'm sat at home on the laptop working my ass off for deadline tomorrow... bollocks lol

StarkyTheDirewolf · 03/01/2016 13:53

Awww I'm sorry you're feeling rotten shelb that suck balls! Have a restful day and look after yourself! I'm feeling like that a bit too! Keep warm and lots of fluids, whatever you can manage Flowers

Maybe it's a winter virus or something but I was lying in bed last night and the world lurched and I was so dizzy! Had a few dizzy spells this week combined with a couple of warm moments where I felt like a volcano! And today now the burpy, slightly nauseous, uncomfortable tummy feeling I'm going to have the shuts, aren't I?!

Thanks indi Smile might not need a test yet, I keep thinking af is arriving!
choc mate you deffo sound pregnant!

That's it indi I've had a positive test read within the result time (I've attached a photo) after 3 other positives... that were read after the result time (naughty I know). Then I did two FRER tests, one yesterday and one the day before... BFN... not even a hint of a line. However I feel more pregnant as each day passes! Also randomly protective of my stomach area but that's probably just because it's on my mind...

Midwife refused to cancel my booking appointment and has said unless I bleed class myself as pregnant. Confusing as hell! Exactly the same symptoms as I had with my son though... eurgh!!

IndiX · 03/01/2016 13:32

Choc are you sure youre not upduffed?! Those symptoms sound VERY preggo positive!
Good luck for the 10th Starky I think you've got a good chance!
I'm now feeling like my AF is due as I'm in a seriously bitchy bastard mood bfn and shitty sleep probably didn't help anyway hope you all have a lovely Sunday!

Chocaholic88 · 03/01/2016 13:23

I keep having dizzy spells, the toilet is my new best friend, random nausea (mostly caused by food smells), super sensitive nips! On/off mild back and stomach cramps, and metallic taste in my mouth... and that's not even everything! Arghhhhh

shelbTa · 03/01/2016 13:18

Oohhhh burping, I was waiting for that! Fucked today stark, currently lying in bed too dizzy to get in the shower. Got the shits too. Side fringe sounds good.

Bodycare have okp's in packs of 5 for £1 indi they're pretty similar to the amazo ones. They also had the 'answer' teapots which are I've read very similar to the first response frers, and are £2.99 for 1 or £4.99 for 2. Much cheaper and I believe the same sensitivity (10iu)snipers rug have the 10iu tests too, called something like 'super sensitive early testing' 2 for £7.49.

Thiiiink I'm going to test on the 10th. Af due the 12th, so unless I'm already on or I've got major af symptoms, that is the day! I know! I really am lucky with him! He likes brushing my hair and drying it too! Although it takes him an age because it's so long and he's so careful!

IndiX · 03/01/2016 12:51

Starky you are SO lucky to have your own personal hair dresser! When I first read it I thought you must be mad letting your DH near you with scissors but I am totally jealous you have your own hair stylist free of charge! When are you going to test Starky?

I'm off out soon, my DH says I need to get out the house in other words stop staring at the negative pissy stick going to grab some super drug tests when I'm out. Where do you girls buy your OPKs from? They are quite expensive in the shops.

P.S. Make sure you cut out the £1 off token in your FRER tests! It's in the instruction leaflet which I always throw away but make sure you get it, £1 isn't much but every little helps!

StarkyTheDirewolf · 03/01/2016 12:37

I'm alright thanks shelb feeling a but sickly today, just kinda peaky, off colour, nothing life threatening! Sorta burpy, sick, can imagine the smell of sprouts cooking would make me go green!...that kinda bleh! How are you missus mama?

I have made the monumental sort of decision ...dun dun duuuuuun. ..to cut a side fringe in! I'm going to do it later! Then Dh will give the rest of my hair a trim and cut me some layers in! my hair is pretty much waist length (He used to be a barber, but did courses in women's cuts!) I'm so lucky! In another bid to be a grown up. ...I want to wear lipstick! But thats for neXT week maybe! One step at a time!

Sorry miley BUT, its time to call re-start and go again!
choc awww bless your Dh! I haven't told mine if/when I'm testing, he'd end up a nervous wreck and then I'D have to be the sensible one, and I'm not down with that!
Hiya missd most abbreviations are on the mumsnet guide page, but if you just type in 'ttc' and then the abbreviation you want to understand into Google then it will come up with an explanation Smile

I havnt done any OPKs at all possibly where I've gone wrong I'm going to wait until Wednesday I think, can't say I'm in the best mood this morning but no signs at all of AF except my bitchy mood

MissD1506 · 03/01/2016 11:44

Oh bugger, so sorry about that... :(

Chocaholic88 · 03/01/2016 11:43

First response early result was the only test I've used that gave me negative results... yet 3 superdrug and one tesco have given me a positive... OH is in favour or trying another superdrug test. He's convinced I am... he's setting himself up for a big disappointment if yesterday's test was correct :-/

Mileymoocow · 03/01/2016 11:36

Well, af has caught me, the wiley bitch Angry

I'm assuming it's af as I've just had a bit of blood when I wiped and I'm sure it's too late for IB cd27 13dpo.

At least no pregnancy tests wasted I suppose! Good luck for everyone waiting to test, I hope we get some good news

MissD1506 · 03/01/2016 11:35

Hi starky, good to meet you Smile

I need to study up on all the abbreviations... Is there anywhere I can find them?

Ps in feeling spectacularly unpregnant Confused

shelbTa · 03/01/2016 11:29

Stark how you feeling??

StarkyTheDirewolf · 03/01/2016 11:19

Welcome newbies and sorry about the bfn! It may still be too early though! And as shelb says, do an okp!

How are we all today?

LittleBelle90 · 03/01/2016 11:16

I have a clearblue sat in my cupboard and it says it's more accurate if used day before expected period. Ovia says that I should test tomorrow but wasn't sure what one to use. Thanks missd that's handy to know

shelbTa · 03/01/2016 11:14

Sorry if asked you this but - have you got any opks left? Both myself and runner got lines on opks before bfns, I know it's not scientific but kept me going when I was otherwise going mental - and I mean mental!

IndiX · 03/01/2016 11:03

From what ovia said I'm around the 14dpo mark but that's not definite, I only used the normal first response not FRER so maybe it wasn't sensitive enough? I'm still holding out a bit of hope but I kind of want my AF to make an appearance ASAP so I can get my cycle started again!

MissD1506 · 03/01/2016 10:58

Ps I heard the superdrug tests are one of the best? Got this from another site:

IC's usually 10 mIU/ 25 mIU (although this is questionable!)
One step High sensitivity - 10 mIU
Superdrug - 10 mIU
First Response Early Response - 12.5 mIU
Sainsbury's own - 15 mIU
Tesco own - 25mIU
Asda cheapies - 25mIU
Boots own brand - 50 mIU
Clearblue Digital - 50 mIU (CBD with conception indicator is 25mIU)

shelbTa · 03/01/2016 10:55

What dpo are you indi? I got a total bfn one day on a FRER and then the next it was positive, so don't lose hope.

MissD1506 · 03/01/2016 10:55

Oops so sorry, had no idea this was for #tcc1... New to all this Blush

Good luck on weds inky... I'll be poas weds am too, so will keep fx for us both!!

IndiX · 03/01/2016 10:42

Hi ladies and newbies!
The tww is definitely a mind fuck so you're welcome to share your craziness/symptom spotting/annoyance with us.
Thanks girls, bit pissed off with the bfn but I'll try again Wednesday. It was just the normal first response test? Not the early one? Should I have used something more sensitive?
