Hi (big wave)
So you clicked on here cos you were looking for me (I'm flattered!) or the title seemed interesting!
I'm aware it doesn't really explain anything but we are bunch of lovely ladies all TTC and going ever so slightly crazy with it! For more info see our original thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2412386-TTC-anxious-over-early-pregnancy-possible-symptoms?msgid=56357000#56357000

And our most recent thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2480630-So-its-John-Wayne-vs-Les-Dawson-in-The-Great-British-Pee-Off-and-Prtys-judging-get-ready-to-be-basted-lovelies?pg=1&order=

We are symptoms spotters extraordinaire - you name it we've had it, real and/or imagined Confused
We are here to help, we are all supportive, we laugh, rant, cry, joke, rage, smile, and comfort together. Be you a lurker or poster (established or new) then you are very welcome here. We only have a few rules:

  1. No judgement - we all lead different lives and have different standards and that is fine. You wanna get wasted everyday of TWW, that's fine. You wanna abstain completely, that's fine. We need support, not judgement.
  2. No feeling stupid - we've all had those months where we definitely think we are pg 110% convinced and then AF turns up, don't feel bad about it, it happens. Also we all have different levels of knowledge so no question is stupid apart from the one you don't ask.
  3. On this thread there is no such thing as TMI - we are all adults and we all know how miraculous and amazing... and downright disgusting our bodies can be, it's fine. Share what you want, we will not be fazed.

So that's it, jump in and FX'd for all my lovelies xx

Back into the dreaded TWW. For some reason I have a good feeling about this month, had it all during FW, was very relaxed about it, EWM was all good, DTD every other, including yesterday when I felt my ovulation pains. But as nice as it is feeling optimistic I am trying to talk myself out of it as it might only lead to disappointment.

Grrr, hate the TWW!!!

glitterpoppy · 06/03/2016 11:13

Sorry to hear that prty

Good news about the smear results neetie

Why do I do it to myself, browsing through Facebook and I swear to god it is full of happy Mother's Day from the bump posts. I don't know why but it's really annoyed me.. Ok I maybe just jealous but... Grr

neetie1 · 06/03/2016 09:26

Hi all another crazy week here...on tww but we only managed a couple of dtd so not too hopeful. Got smear results back and all clear, next step is to get a sperm sample kit for hubby and go from there.

MrsKittenPie · 05/03/2016 18:08

Sorry to hear that prty - was keeping everything crossed for you. Yes it certainly sounds it, why do our bodies do these cruel things to us. Look after yourself and spoil yourself tonight if you can X

PrtyPsn · 05/03/2016 17:13

Yeah, BFN this morning and AF this afternoon :( marking it as anovulatory since cycle was 36 days

Any news prty?

PrtyPsn · 04/03/2016 07:01

Sorry you've been having such a crazy week pirsy hope it settles down for you soon x
And I agree, it is rubbing being in the struggling group (with the exception of having you lovelies to compare notes with!)
AF is now 3 days late... no sign of her at all, last bfn was yesterday. Didn't test this morning for my own sanity, will be buying some tests today though because I've been using the same ICs all week and want to rule out that they aren't a dodgy batch!

Someone at work went off on mat leave this week ... so jealous!

Pirsy1 · 03/03/2016 19:52

Hi ladies, sorry I've been absent for few days. Been really busy at work. In fact stayed late tonight to do paperwork but computer kept crashing so had to give up and come home ... so frustrating!

Prty I'm sorry you're in limbo. Maybe you ovulated later than usual this month ... maybe there is still some hope ... but it's annoying - you just want to know wher you are!

Poppy HSG sounds horrible. Think I will be having one soon enough too ... at least it is done now and you can get some answers.

Snowy you are right. My mum told me that it seems like everyone gets pregnant straight away because that's only the people you hear about but lots of people struggle. It still is rubbish being in the struggling group though!

PrtyPsn · 03/03/2016 19:31

What a trooper!! He can do the rounds then pahahahaha

Haha ladies... My DH will love the chance to do it every other day!! Grin

PrtyPsn · 03/03/2016 18:17

kitten I hate when people do that! Like getting pregnant is just that easy!! Grrr!!
Had a baby bomb today, she's really lovely and I want to be happy for her... stings though :/

snowy1982 · 03/03/2016 11:03

Kitten it is so frustrating to hear people talk like that, when your struggling with TTC it seems like everyone else just has to think about it and their there. But after a chat with my mum this week i realised just how common TTC problems are, its just people don't talk about it (maybe its still seen as a taboo topic), but discovered that 3 of my cousins struggled for years before it happened for them (all of them got there in the end and all naturally as well) they just didn't talk about it. Made me feel a little better about things.

Glitter, i second prty request Grin

MrsKittenPie · 03/03/2016 10:19

glitter - good plan Grin
prty - sorry you're in limbo but I'm still hoping for you.
Just needed a rant. Colleagues talking and one says she wants another baby but they're not ttc yet but will probably have a go on holiday and get pregnant then. It makes me sooooo angry, just so bloody casual about it because it's that easy is it? Makes me feel like such a failure.

PrtyPsn · 03/03/2016 07:58

Sounds like a plan glitter if you're OH manages that can we all borrow him?!

OP posts:
glitterpoppy · 03/03/2016 07:39

Thanks ladies. Sorry to hear that prty why are our bodies so bloody hard to figure out?!
CD11 for me so I'm just going to concentrate into trying to DTD at least every other day until my FW I think, then everyday. That's my plan until I have to go back to the hospital to discuss my results!

PrtyPsn · 03/03/2016 07:20

Still no AF, still BFN :( was so bloody sure I felt Ov pain this cycle but looks like it's been anovulatory- typical!

OP posts:
snowy1982 · 02/03/2016 21:26

We all have those days

PrtyPsn · 02/03/2016 20:42

Haha I know I say that all the time to you lovelies snowy I'm just being an unhopeful misery today!

OP posts:
snowy1982 · 02/03/2016 20:32

It ain't over until she appears prty

PrtyPsn · 02/03/2016 20:25

I know, don't know what to think, I can't let myself get too hopeful because 2 BFNs is pretty telling :(

OP posts:
MrsKittenPie · 02/03/2016 20:21

prty - sorry to hear that lovely, how frustrating for you. If no af though you never know, fingers crossed x

PrtyPsn · 02/03/2016 19:53

kitten yeah, another BFN, still no AF :(

OP posts:
snowy1982 · 02/03/2016 17:17

MrsKittenPie · 02/03/2016 16:54

glitter - sorry it was so horrible. But as you say at least it's done now and you can go and discuss everything.
