Hi (big wave)
So you clicked on here cos you were looking for me (I'm flattered!) or the title seemed interesting!
I'm aware it doesn't really explain anything but we are bunch of lovely ladies all TTC and going ever so slightly crazy with it! For more info see our original thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2412386-TTC-anxious-over-early-pregnancy-possible-symptoms?msgid=56357000#56357000

And our most recent thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2480630-So-its-John-Wayne-vs-Les-Dawson-in-The-Great-British-Pee-Off-and-Prtys-judging-get-ready-to-be-basted-lovelies?pg=1&order=

We are symptoms spotters extraordinaire - you name it we've had it, real and/or imagined Confused
We are here to help, we are all supportive, we laugh, rant, cry, joke, rage, smile, and comfort together. Be you a lurker or poster (established or new) then you are very welcome here. We only have a few rules:

  1. No judgement - we all lead different lives and have different standards and that is fine. You wanna get wasted everyday of TWW, that's fine. You wanna abstain completely, that's fine. We need support, not judgement.
  2. No feeling stupid - we've all had those months where we definitely think we are pg 110% convinced and then AF turns up, don't feel bad about it, it happens. Also we all have different levels of knowledge so no question is stupid apart from the one you don't ask.
  3. On this thread there is no such thing as TMI - we are all adults and we all know how miraculous and amazing... and downright disgusting our bodies can be, it's fine. Share what you want, we will not be fazed.

So that's it, jump in and FX'd for all my lovelies xx

Well totally confused now. Did clear blue digital ov kit just to confirm the cheapie one from yesterday and it was clear circle. No idea if I have ovulated or not. Still crampy and backache and very bloated :(

glitterpoppy · 07/01/2016 20:56

Sorry to hear that pirsy but I fully understand what you mean. I hope you'll come back and visit us.

How did your lunch go flowers ?

Ah fingers crossed for you neetie least you had DTD!

Still got another flashing smily face on the CB OBK, How long does it usually flash for? Starting to worry it won't peak now as its been too long! Aghhh why is my body so awkward....

PrtyPsn · 07/01/2016 18:36

Sorry to hear that pirsy but glad you could talk about it and work out the best choices for both of you x

neetie1 · 07/01/2016 17:41

Hope to see you soon Pirsy.

Well I finally got a positive opk on the cheapie one that came with the Preseed and interestingly I didn't get a positive this morning so must have been sometime today. DH decided to wake me in the night so as it turns out it was perfect timing.
Body is still being very weird, backaches, heavy bloating, slight cramping very odd no idea what is going on.

MrsFlowers82 · 07/01/2016 14:48

Really sorry to hear that Pirsy but I totally agree the stress and all consuming nature of TTC doesn't help the chance of a BFP. Only earlier this week I promised to let it go and now because of this colleague, its all I can think about! I really hope you are able to enjoy your time out. You know where we are if you need us. Take care of yourself lovely, we will miss you xxx

Feefeefs · 07/01/2016 14:35

Sorry to hear that pirsy but maybe a break will help.
I think it's normal to worry about whether or not you'll be good parents. Maybe less stress on you both will help to put both your minds at ease

Pirsy1 · 07/01/2016 14:00

I think its harder when its someone you like who drops the babybomb because it makes you feel bad that you feel jealous! Ill be honest and say that I really struggle to feel happy for other people anymore.

So my DH isnt going to do his SA. He is worried that subconsciously he thinks we wont be good parents and thats why he's been avoiding it. He wants to put things on hold for a few weeks / months. I am upset but think I need a break from TTC. Its taken over my life and Im becoming a bit of an anxious wreck. I think the stress might even be stopping me getting pregnant, so Im going to try and focus on other things for a while before I have some sort of breakdown. Work is also hectic at the moment which is exxhausting me. Im going to leave the group for a while. I hope you all get BFPs soon. Xxxx

MrsFlowers82 · 07/01/2016 10:03

Hi Glitter - yes, I HATE it when the whole office seems to be deep in baby/maternity/children talk. Actually makes me want to scream. I hope your colleague doesn't corner you for too long if he finds you Kitten, it really is tough and I am with you on the fact its bloody unfair. I can see how happy my colleague is and it is actually heartbreaking... She has asked if we can go out for lunch today as well and I can't really decline...Feeling very wobbly right now....It's going to be a long six months until she goes on mat leave day... Sad

glitterpoppy · 06/01/2016 21:46

Sorry about all the baby bombs Sad flowers I understand what you mean and that must be incredibly difficult for you. It's so hard isn't it?
2 of my colleagues have just come back from maternity leave this past week and all I'm hearing about is what each child is doing now and how cute they are. I'm happy for them but it gets s little bit much at times as that's all they want to talk about.

I've still got the flashing face on my clear blue digital.. It's been flashing since Saturday now, we've DTD everyday since then!

pirsy I know what you mean.. I'd definitely give Facebook a miss for a while. I've thought about doing that afew times myself!

MrsKittenPie · 06/01/2016 20:10

Sorry to hear of all the baby bombs, they really are the worst Sad
mrsflowers - I know it's exciting for your friend but I'd feel exactly the same as you. I'm feeling so bitter and jealous now about anyone who baby bombs me too and it's horrible to feel like that but just can't help it. I'm waiting for one of my male friends from work to produce a scan pic for his and wife's second baby and I feel sick at the thought of how I'm going to cope with it. I've started avoiding him which is stupid because of course as soon as they are ready to announce he'll find me. It's so unfair.
pirsy - definitely deactivate fb - I've never been on it but hear horror stories of announcements all the time
neetie - good news about dh's sperm sample - at home will be a lot easier!

MrsFlowers82 · 06/01/2016 19:54

Baby bomb was my best work mate. She knows I am TTC and to be fair hers is really well deserved, she had PCOS and (maybe this will give you hope Glitter and anyone else with PCOS) had really crazy cycles. She had been for all tests and was due to start Clomid at the end of this month. She is totally shocked. I am delighted for her but (and I will only tell you guys this) utterly jealous and heartbroken. We always have lunch together, etc so I am set to hear all about it. She is already twelve weeks, scan next week and told our boss, already talking may leave etc... Trying to be excited and not let it get to me...but it's hard...I know she will not hate me if I tell her how I feel, but she is so happy, I don't want to rain on her parade...Sad

Good news is me and OH have done the DTD everyday for the past three! Flu and night shifts aside! Have decided that is my new plan of action, get rid of apps, counting days etc and just DTD every other day. Agree with Pirsy, every day is to much for us!

Hope you're ok Prty.

Crossing all for strong swimmers Neetie and Pirsy

Pirsy1 · 06/01/2016 19:17

Sorry for those who have been babybombed! Even though I try to tell myself I'm ok about our TTC journey it still feels bad when someone announces a pregnancy on Facebook (I need to deactivate it again!)

Poppy I'm glad you have a plan. There is lots they can do for PCOS.

Neetie maybe you should step it down to EOD? I know my husband struggled with every day.

My DH has said he will go to GP tomorrow to arrange SA.

neetie1 · 06/01/2016 18:24

Oh poor flowers only good thing about so many pregnancies at work hardly anyone likely to baby bomb. DH has had his form for his sperm sample through and he can do a sample at home and take in which is good. Just hope we get another chance to DTD this week and he doesn't get all oh I feel ill again..... Still no sign of OV but have had cramps since last period and tightness all the way through. Did a cheapie test but of course BFN very odd body I have.

Feefeefs · 06/01/2016 18:20

Oh god I didn't even think about the possibility! However before Christmas break there were 4 of them who were pregnant/recently had a baby who spoke about 12+ of trying to get back to normality following the pill and trying to get pregnant I had no idea about any of them and all healthy and happy

PrtyPsn · 06/01/2016 17:45

Oh flowers feeling your pain - baby bombed at work today too. Plus it's been a hidden one which people seem to get even more excited about :/

MrsFlowers82 · 06/01/2016 14:21

First week back at work made even more hideous...Baby bombed Sad

Feefeefs · 06/01/2016 09:50

January is a miserable month! I worked over Christmas and New Years and took this week off just to try and minimise January blues!

neetie1 · 06/01/2016 07:48

Well I think that I may as well write off this month.. DH was very willing over weekend but as soon as we go back to work its I don't feel that good etc. Saying that temps are still quite low and no positive opk yet , supposed to be today so not sure what's going on Sad

MrsKittenPie · 05/01/2016 21:20

glitter - that's good that you've got a plan, I'm so pleased for you, yes hopefully they'll sort your cycles out quickly. Positive thoughts are really good too Smile

glitterpoppy · 05/01/2016 20:30

Thanks kitten, I've got suspected PCOS and im currently waiting for an appointment with the gynaecologist to come through.. I'm keeping positive this year. Once that comes through they will be able to reduce my cycles I'm sure!!

MrsKittenPie · 05/01/2016 19:58

Fx then glitter - how annoying with your long cycles - hope you get that peak smiley very soon!

glitterpoppy · 05/01/2016 19:57

Meant to say *so FX

MrsKittenPie · 05/01/2016 19:57

Evening everyone. How are you all? I've been in a right grump the last couple of days being back to work after a lovely Xmas - reality is rubbish after being off work for Xmas! I'm sure I'll settle back soon.
So anyone due to test soon? Think we're ready for another bfp here Grin

glitterpoppy · 05/01/2016 19:56

Hi all, happy new year to you all.. Sorry I've been a little bit absent!

Glad to hear from you flowers was thinking of you over Christmas.

My stats are:
Name: glitter
TTC: #1
Cycle: hard to say, crazy cycles.. Been trying since last April but annoyingly long cycles. Last one was CD112 and this one I'm on CD102 and no AF yet.
Age:30

I have had to flashy smiley face for the last 4 days on my clear-blue digital so hoping I'll peak asap! We've been DTD everyday to FX.

Feefeefs · 05/01/2016 13:23

We'll just have to make time for it! Not too much of a hardship!
