Hi (big wave)
So you clicked on here cos you were looking for me (I'm flattered!) or the title seemed interesting!
I'm aware it doesn't really explain anything but we are bunch of lovely ladies all TTC and going ever so slightly crazy with it! For more info see our original thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2412386-TTC-anxious-over-early-pregnancy-possible-symptoms?msgid=56357000#56357000

And our most recent thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2480630-So-its-John-Wayne-vs-Les-Dawson-in-The-Great-British-Pee-Off-and-Prtys-judging-get-ready-to-be-basted-lovelies?pg=1&order=

We are symptoms spotters extraordinaire - you name it we've had it, real and/or imagined Confused
We are here to help, we are all supportive, we laugh, rant, cry, joke, rage, smile, and comfort together. Be you a lurker or poster (established or new) then you are very welcome here. We only have a few rules:

  1. No judgement - we all lead different lives and have different standards and that is fine. You wanna get wasted everyday of TWW, that's fine. You wanna abstain completely, that's fine. We need support, not judgement.
  2. No feeling stupid - we've all had those months where we definitely think we are pg 110% convinced and then AF turns up, don't feel bad about it, it happens. Also we all have different levels of knowledge so no question is stupid apart from the one you don't ask.
  3. On this thread there is no such thing as TMI - we are all adults and we all know how miraculous and amazing... and downright disgusting our bodies can be, it's fine. Share what you want, we will not be fazed.

So that's it, jump in and FX'd for all my lovelies xx

mrsflowers - I have wondered about another doctor at the same surgery but was put off as she said that that was their policy and that was that. I should go though.
Your doctor sounds ace - I want her too! I spot before af too and it does concern me but good to hear your doctor was so positive. Hope your annoying colleague/work best mate isn't winding you up too much. I found out I'll soon be working with a girl who got married last year and is ttc so am bracing myself for that 'happy announcement' plus daily updates too - great!

MrsFlowers82 · 11/01/2016 20:48

P.s.my annoying colleague work best mate who is preggo has PCOS and had about five periods last year. I think irregularity and long cycles is more of a sign so try not to worry. Even then she managed it maybe her OH has super swimmers so there is hope for us all!

MrsFlowers82 · 11/01/2016 20:46

I'm sorry your GP has been so crap Kitten. Is there anyone else you could see? My surgery has more than one GP - maybe another you could speak to?

Prty I had only thought about something being wrong in AF throws of panic never really thought about it but I do think it can't hurt. My Dr said she isn't too worried as my periods are regular (I do spot for a few days first though). She also said that even if levels come back not high enough she isn't too worried as we may need to try a couple of times to get the right days. So that could take a while, then who knows if I will need anything else and how long that could take! So I am of the mindset to get things moving. That way you can carry on trying while things are being looked at and who knows what could happen? Wink

MrsKittenPie · 11/01/2016 20:15

mrsflowers - how lovely to have a nice doctor like that, I think it's really good she's supporting you like that - it's natural to be a little apprehensive but I'm sure everything will be fine.
I'll be thinking about your mum too, that's good her team are positive, yes stay positive too lovely xx
prty - it can't do any harm to see a doctor - you might have a really supportive time like mrsflowers which would be good. I know what you mean about head in the sand - that's 100% me - at the back of my mind I know there is something wrong but due to my gp being crap and unsupportive I feel stuck.

PrtyPsn · 11/01/2016 19:58

True... I think I'm feeling a bit 'head in the sand' and would rather not know if something's wrong... maybe because I know it will make TTC even harder (even though it feels like an uphill struggle most days)

I would say go Prty. I am in the same boat as you and I feel better just knowing things are getting looked at. If it's something then you can sort it. If it's nothing great, then you know and can keep going! xxx

PrtyPsn · 11/01/2016 19:19

Oh no kitten I'm normally more vigilant but clearly too busy DTD!
flowers great your doc is being so supportive :) and I'll be thinking about your mum x
Any thoughts, lovelies - TTC 10 months now, regular cycles but strongly suspect PCOS due to other symptoms. Had that chemical/early mc Sept.... so, to go to docs or not? Feels like nothing is happening but then it clearly is as I've technically been pg. maybe I'm just feeling a bit negative or should I get checked?

MrsFlowers82 · 11/01/2016 18:47

Hi all. So I went I my Drs yesterday, for something totally not TTC related but ended up talking about it anyway. She was LOVELY. So reassuring and kind. But she has sent me for blood tests to check progesterone levels - actually going to the first one on Weds! Then one when AF arrives next week. She said she is not too worried as my periods are regular but happy to get things checked as it has been ten months. I am not sure whether to feel relieved that I am being supported and things will be looked at or scared as to what they might find?! Confused

In other news my mum will have to have a bout of post-opp chemo. Scary but her team seem positive and I am keeping positive too.

Hope everyone else is ok?

MrsKittenPie · 11/01/2016 18:21

How is everyone? Our thread had dropped onto the second page! I thought it had disappeared completely Shock

MrsKittenPie · 10/01/2016 11:31

That sounds like a big jump neetie - sounds like you've ovulated recently then - despite the frustrating opks?

neetie1 · 10/01/2016 11:09

Have decided next month to not use OV kit , I will still temp though, think I would feel odd doing nothing at all. Talking of temp that shot up from 36.0 yesterday to 36.9 today....

MrsKittenPie · 09/01/2016 22:17

Well my cycles vary between 26 and 30 days and I've haven't temped this month no no idea if it will be a long cycle or not. Probably Wednesday but I usually get spotting before af so tend to know I'm out. I'm not excited - already looking ahead to what we can do next month. I think I've kind of given up if I'm honest. The good news is I'm less stressed than I have been in nearly a year as all the house renovations are done now so am focusing on enjoying life now Smile

PrtyPsn · 09/01/2016 21:31

Aww kitten not too much longer to wait, what's your test date?

OP posts:
MrsKittenPie · 09/01/2016 21:26

prty - exciting - fingers crossed for you then. Being sober fine - luckily dh is working this weekend and next weekend so any temptation is not there! I'm cd22 today - so swinging between what if and no I can't possibly be. In any event I've stocked up for af arrival

PrtyPsn · 09/01/2016 21:18

So, how are all my January sober lovelies doing?
My fertile window is coming up this week so FXd for this cycle!!

MrsKittenPie · 09/01/2016 20:05

neetie that's good about talking to your sister. I've lost all rl support as it's been so long. At first I told a few close friends and family we were ttc but they've stopped asking now and presume we've given up I think. I'm quite a private person though and would not be able to explain how devastated I am every month when the bitch af arrives. Plus no one I know has had any fertility issues - pregnancy all over the place here - it would seem it's easy for everyone except me

MrsFlowers82 · 09/01/2016 17:15

Ugh! Sorry it's all so confusing Neetie but great news about your sister Smile

neetie1 · 09/01/2016 10:59

Good news though is am chatting more to my sister and we are talking more about me trying and her being preg so certainly very positive.

MrsKittenPie · 09/01/2016 08:28

It's really odd neetie - I'm sure our bodies just like to confuse us when ttc. It's makes it so hard. Maybe give it a few more days then try another test - I know that's a lot easier said than done though

neetie1 · 09/01/2016 07:38

No I have been using it all week its a new box of tests but in all the ones ove used it's been clear circle. .. still bloated cramps and backache though. Cheapie prev test say no tempted to do digital one but know I'll be really down if /when it says BfN. .. not due af till about 20th

MrsKittenPie · 08/01/2016 21:54

Sorry to see you go pirsy but totally get it, relax lots and it would be lovely if you check in here every so often to let us know how you're getting on.
neetie - was it the first time you'd used that particular clear blue stick? As they always show a blank circle on the first day as it needs to see what your normal hormone levels are before it can compare it.
mrsflowers - that must be utterly horrendous for you, I'd don't know how I'd cope with that. It's just so insensitive of her. You will get your bfp soon though - lots of Cake and Flowers for you.

neetie1 · 08/01/2016 15:33

No worries ladies...worst of it is the cramps etc have not stopped from when af was here , trousers wont do up properly very odd

glitterpoppy · 08/01/2016 14:56

Sorry neetie my CB OBK's are totally confusing me too!!

flowers that's sounds awful, how insensitive of your friend. I hope you are ok Chocolate Cake for you!!

MrsFlowers82 · 08/01/2016 13:48

Hi all.

Neetie, Glitter, I am afraid I am like Feefs and have no idea! I have only used OPKs a couple of times and never CB. FX you have both done enough this month and it won't matter anyway!

I am in HELL. Work has turned into regular updates on morning sickness, telling family members and general-"Oh-my-God-I'm-pregnant-isn't-it-great?"-updates at every turn. I can't even make a cup of tea without an update on how sore her bazookas feel Angry Really thought she would be more sympathetic given that she knew I was TTC. When I finally get my BFP remind me to only share my joy with OH, family and other mums/mums to be.

Feefeefs · 08/01/2016 12:23

Sorry neetie I haven't used these yet not really sure. Hopefully someone will know.
