Hi (big wave)
So you clicked on here cos you were looking for me (I'm flattered!) or the title seemed interesting!
I'm aware it doesn't really explain anything but we are bunch of lovely ladies all TTC and going ever so slightly crazy with it! For more info see our original thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2412386-TTC-anxious-over-early-pregnancy-possible-symptoms?msgid=56357000#56357000

And our most recent thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2480630-So-its-John-Wayne-vs-Les-Dawson-in-The-Great-British-Pee-Off-and-Prtys-judging-get-ready-to-be-basted-lovelies?pg=1&order=

We are symptoms spotters extraordinaire - you name it we've had it, real and/or imagined Confused
We are here to help, we are all supportive, we laugh, rant, cry, joke, rage, smile, and comfort together. Be you a lurker or poster (established or new) then you are very welcome here. We only have a few rules:

  1. No judgement - we all lead different lives and have different standards and that is fine. You wanna get wasted everyday of TWW, that's fine. You wanna abstain completely, that's fine. We need support, not judgement.
  2. No feeling stupid - we've all had those months where we definitely think we are pg 110% convinced and then AF turns up, don't feel bad about it, it happens. Also we all have different levels of knowledge so no question is stupid apart from the one you don't ask.
  3. On this thread there is no such thing as TMI - we are all adults and we all know how miraculous and amazing... and downright disgusting our bodies can be, it's fine. Share what you want, we will not be fazed.

So that's it, jump in and FX'd for all my lovelies xx

I've never been to a baby shower. I don't think I really agree with them to be honest, for several reasons, but I know I would find it really hard to go to one when we've been trying so long. If It's ever my turn then I'm going to be really low key about my pregnancy because you just don't know what other people are going through.

MrsKittenPie · 26/03/2016 13:33

Thanks pirsy - I did try my best!
I've had that before and thought it was IB too, it wasn't for me but I really hope it is for you.
My distraction is training for a half marathon in June - my stupid body can't get pregnant so I'm getting fit instead!

MrsKittenPie · 26/03/2016 13:29

Thanks prty xx
I know what you mean - I really had to force myself to be nice, it's a horrible feeling because I do want to be happy for people genuinely but I can't. She had a baby shower for the last baby, I hate baby showers but I went then, there's no way on earth I'd go this time

Pirsy1 · 26/03/2016 13:26

Kitten, sounds like you handled that baby bomb amazingly well. It's hard to put on a brave face when you're crying inside. Hugs to you.

My TMI update is that I noticed a bit of blood when I went to the toilet this morning after DTD. I'm not sure what this is. It is probably either a bit of spotting pre-AF or bit of trauma from DTD. I've got excited in the past thinking this sort of thing was IB and it never has been!

Prty I have just started watching Dance Moms as a distraction - it is quite addictive!

PrtyPsn · 26/03/2016 11:27

Awww kitten baby bombs suck, I can't even bring myself to be nice to the people involved any more - even when it's family :/ hugs xx

Morning everyone
Hope you're all having a nice bank holiday weekend Easter Smile
glitter - fingers crossed it was just too early. I always test early too so I know why you did. Try not to worry yet - you're definitely not out yet
prty - you definitely need a distraction! It always drags though doesn't it
pirsy - fingers crossed for you too lovely. Tearful could be a good sign!
As for me, I've ditched the opks, the temping, the obsessing. Had the worst baby bomb ever - the one I've really been dreading- but it happened, I cried a lot - in the toilets at work, with my mum, all through my acupuncture session then had to see the pregnant girl lots yesterday but I painted a big smile on my face and asked her loads of questions about how she's been feeling and how happy I am for her etc etc even though I was dying inside. I think I did a good job.
I've even not bought any pregnancy tests this month - normally I would have stocked up by now even though I'm only half way through cycle

PrtyPsn · 26/03/2016 08:29

You're not out yet pirsy
Erm... slowly! I'm trying to stay distracted but it's always there, isn't it!

Maybe is too early Poppy - fingers crossed. If it's not your month at least you have had a shorter cycle this time and hopefully that will continue!

Just was really tearful this morning, but maybe was just knackered after a 14 hour shift at work on Thursday. 5 days til AF due so will see what happens. Not getting my hopes up though.

How's the 2ww progressing Prty?

PrtyPsn · 25/03/2016 18:52

Aww glitter (hugs) it is early though, lovely x

Well not barren, but barren for the month at least prty

Definitely not out glitter, you're not out until AF shows herself. Happy anniversary Smile

glitterpoppy · 23/03/2016 15:39

I think I work it out as I'm 9dpo (I think). There's time yet then ladies.. I'm not out yet! Trying to forget it and concentrate on a long weekend off work. Plus it my 1st wedding anniversary too at the weekend so going to look forward to a lovely weekend away (I've been with DH 8 years altogether though). Grin

PrtyPsn · 23/03/2016 15:27

You are not barren snowy there's always hope, lovely xx can see your point about the relaxation of AF though

OP posts:
snowy1982 · 23/03/2016 13:24

That is a weird one prty.

Have come to the realisation that once I get over the disappointment of being barren, I actually enjoy AF being here. It almost feels like a week of relaxation, when for once my every other thought isn't about TCC

PrtyPsn · 23/03/2016 12:40

O day was yesterday, since last night I've been having a weird churny kinda feeling around my ovaries... sure it's all in my head though!

Pirsy1 · 22/03/2016 22:39

I had to turn it off when husband came through eating a sandwich. Yes I think its too early for symptoms yet. One of my friends had a neg test and no symptoms 10 dpo. Then woke up feeling sick and got BFP at 12 dpo.

glitterpoppy · 22/03/2016 21:40

Sorry meant pirsy

glitterpoppy · 22/03/2016 21:40

PrtyPsn · 22/03/2016 21:39

Thanks lovelies :) xx
glitter when I had my early mc/late chemical I didn't get any symptoms until 10 days past when AF was due. You're not out yet x
