Hi (big wave)
So you clicked on here cos you were looking for me (I'm flattered!) or the title seemed interesting!
I'm aware it doesn't really explain anything but we are bunch of lovely ladies all TTC and going ever so slightly crazy with it! For more info see our original thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2412386-TTC-anxious-over-early-pregnancy-possible-symptoms?msgid=56357000#56357000

And our most recent thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2480630-So-its-John-Wayne-vs-Les-Dawson-in-The-Great-British-Pee-Off-and-Prtys-judging-get-ready-to-be-basted-lovelies?pg=1&order=

We are symptoms spotters extraordinaire - you name it we've had it, real and/or imagined Confused
We are here to help, we are all supportive, we laugh, rant, cry, joke, rage, smile, and comfort together. Be you a lurker or poster (established or new) then you are very welcome here. We only have a few rules:

  1. No judgement - we all lead different lives and have different standards and that is fine. You wanna get wasted everyday of TWW, that's fine. You wanna abstain completely, that's fine. We need support, not judgement.
  2. No feeling stupid - we've all had those months where we definitely think we are pg 110% convinced and then AF turns up, don't feel bad about it, it happens. Also we all have different levels of knowledge so no question is stupid apart from the one you don't ask.
  3. On this thread there is no such thing as TMI - we are all adults and we all know how miraculous and amazing... and downright disgusting our bodies can be, it's fine. Share what you want, we will not be fazed.

So that's it, jump in and FX'd for all my lovelies xx

Me either snowy.. I'm just winding myself up. It's annoying me that I don't know how my X-ray went that was done at the beginning of March. I think I'll definitely give them a ring next week!!

snowy1982 · 31/03/2016 20:24

I'd give them a ring glitter but then I'm not the most patient person in the world Smile

glitterpoppy · 31/03/2016 19:48

They just told me to go back to discuss all the results in 3 months last time but I'm now wondering whether to ring and see if I can find anything out next week. POAS again today and still BFN.. No idea what's happening with my stupid body!!

Pirsy1 · 31/03/2016 10:03

It seems to be different everywhere for the sperm results. It takes 2 weeks where we are so DH should get his back tomorrow or early next week because of the Easter weekend. I think they just go back to the GP so he'll have to ring up to get them. Still keeping my fingers crossed. Then we can get referred. When I went to the GP back in October she said that waiting times weren't that long so hopefully that's still the case.

Prty I hope that's a new symptom that you can trademark!

snowy1982 · 31/03/2016 07:59

My DH got his results the next day, he just rang the doctor and he gave them over the phone. We are still waiting on our referral letter to the clinic though, it was requested in December

glitterpoppy · 31/03/2016 07:47

No they said they put the results with mine to discuss when we go back. Initially then said we'd be going back in 3 months so I'm expecting an appointment coming through for sometime in May. Feel like ages to wait though Confused

PrtyPsn · 31/03/2016 06:59

Excellent glitter did they say hoe long results will take?

OP posts:
glitterpoppy · 30/03/2016 22:13

Ooo that sounds interesting prty I'm keeping my FX for you!

DH dropped off his sperm sample at the hospital today!

PrtyPsn · 30/03/2016 21:47

Ooo a new imaginary symptom - my stomach (below my belly button) feels sore in a muscular sense, like I've had a killer session at the gym the day before (I didn't... unless sitting at my desk scoffing crisps is a work out now...)

OP posts:
glitterpoppy · 30/03/2016 07:51

Thank you.. Still no sign of AF yet. 🙁

PrtyPsn · 30/03/2016 07:39

glitter rant away a it's why we are here! Hope your appointment comes quickly x
pirsy so sorry, lovely xx and I can't stand those 'it was only once' pregnancies!! I'm almost at the year mark now (sigh)
snowy I felt exactly the same this FW, it's been a draining cycle so far. But it is the only was to get closer to a BFP so keep at it, lovely x
kitten hope your TWW to passes quick x
I'm down to DBAFD 6... no real symptoms except constant peeing but it's definitely in my head as I seem to get this every cycle as soon as FW ends :/

MrsKittenPie · 29/03/2016 19:31

glitter - hope you get your appointment through soon.
pirsy - sorry af arrived. I can't imagine it either - getting pregnant straight away. That's so lucky for your old colleague - she must have been so smug about it!
snowy - I know exactly how you feel - I was the same with the crushing disappointment and it's so hard to pick yourself back up for FW. Hope you get back into it.
I'm on the slow decline into craziness with the start of yet another 2ww, will definitely not be testing early this month though - just dreading the disappointment yet again

snowy1982 · 29/03/2016 17:48

Hi everyone, for some reason I wasn't getting any notifications of anyone's posts so only catching up on everything now.

FW starts today but am really not in the mood for all the TTC heartache this month, the disappointment of the last cycle has really got me down, struggling to get positive for another round of it. Of course still gonna be a good little TTCer and DTD every other day but poor DH is just going to have to put up with a less than enthusiastic me Smile

Pirsy1 · 29/03/2016 09:45

Its been 8 cycles since I moved back and before that we had about 11 months of TTC with me living about 300 miles away during the week. Confused.

I cant imagine what it would be like to be one of those women that gets pregnant straight away. An old work colleague once smugly told me she'd got pregnant every time she'd had unprotected sex on day 13 of her cycle. She's so lucky!!

Pirsy1 · 29/03/2016 09:24

Poppy I hope you're appointment comes through soon. The waiting is frustrating!

AF arrived this morning, so no Christmas baby for me! On a positive note at least I know we DTD at the right time this month and DH did his SA - waiting for results - so at least we can get referred. Pretty sure we have a problem somewhere so would just like to know what it is now.

glitterpoppy · 29/03/2016 07:57

Thanks prty it was lovely. How annoying.. I just wish I'd get appointment through now from the hospital so I know when I can go back to discuss everything. I just feel so impatient and just want to get things sorted, I'm sick of waiting! Oops.. Sorry for the little rant.

PrtyPsn · 28/03/2016 17:02

How frustrating glitter I'm starting to think I've only got one good ovary as I tend to have loads of cm one month then none the next... hope you had a good weekend away though x
pirsy I really hope it not AF, lovely x

OP posts:
glitterpoppy · 28/03/2016 16:59

Hi everyone, I'm back from my lovely weekend away. No signs of AF yet so POAS and still BFN. Feel devastated.. I'm starting to wonder if I actually ovulated or not as with the PCOS I know the levels can sometimes be raised anyway so OPKs can sometimes not work properly. Grr I hate PCOS Sad

Pirsy1 · 28/03/2016 14:31

No not too much for IB but I just think with the crampy heavy feeling that it is going to be AF Angry

PrtyPsn · 28/03/2016 13:53

Awww no pirsy too much to be IB?

OP posts:
Pirsy1 · 28/03/2016 13:42

I think Im out! Had bright red blood mixed with cm yesterday. Now pale pink when I wipe and that familiar cramping. Sigh. Here goes another cycle!

PrtyPsn · 28/03/2016 12:33

Hi hippy glad you're still about :)
The DTD not in FW sounds like a good idea to refresh, really hope it helps x
I've started the blog but only the first post just to set the scene, lay out abbreviations etc will get round go writing a first real post this week - I need the TWW distraction!

hippybird · 28/03/2016 11:44

Hi all! Firstly Flowers if you're reading this - HUGE CONGRATULATIONS!!! We needed that in this board. It shows it can happen for all of us obsessers!!
Sorry to Prty Snowy all of you that got AF after feeling so positive. That is the worst feeling!
kitten I'm totally with you - I know just how you feel. TTC for so long feels like it will never happen for us. But it totally can. Try and stay positive. Your acupuncturist sounds weird, that they gave up after one cycle. Mine said she would expect at least three, to get things back on track, etc...
As for me, I've given DTD a break the last 6 weeks or so. Not DTD at all in FW. It's been a relief TBH. Think we will start trying again, but in a no pressure way. I'm leaving it to the Gods. Feels so much better not to put that pressure on myself. I'll still check in here, and prty have you started that blog yet? Can we read it yet?

PrtyPsn · 26/03/2016 15:18

Yep, I'm in the 'wtf' camp when it comes to baby showers... so unnecessary :/
pirsy it could be any reason for the bleed but guess which I'm backing for you Smile

OP posts:
MrsKittenPie · 26/03/2016 14:06

pirsy - I don't agree with them either, I would never have one.
