Hi (big wave)
So you clicked on here cos you were looking for me (I'm flattered!) or the title seemed interesting!
I'm aware it doesn't really explain anything but we are bunch of lovely ladies all TTC and going ever so slightly crazy with it! For more info see our original thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2412386-TTC-anxious-over-early-pregnancy-possible-symptoms?msgid=56357000#56357000

And our most recent thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2480630-So-its-John-Wayne-vs-Les-Dawson-in-The-Great-British-Pee-Off-and-Prtys-judging-get-ready-to-be-basted-lovelies?pg=1&order=

We are symptoms spotters extraordinaire - you name it we've had it, real and/or imagined Confused
We are here to help, we are all supportive, we laugh, rant, cry, joke, rage, smile, and comfort together. Be you a lurker or poster (established or new) then you are very welcome here. We only have a few rules:

  1. No judgement - we all lead different lives and have different standards and that is fine. You wanna get wasted everyday of TWW, that's fine. You wanna abstain completely, that's fine. We need support, not judgement.
  2. No feeling stupid - we've all had those months where we definitely think we are pg 110% convinced and then AF turns up, don't feel bad about it, it happens. Also we all have different levels of knowledge so no question is stupid apart from the one you don't ask.
  3. On this thread there is no such thing as TMI - we are all adults and we all know how miraculous and amazing... and downright disgusting our bodies can be, it's fine. Share what you want, we will not be fazed.

So that's it, jump in and FX'd for all my lovelies xx

Prty Im sorry you're having a bad time. I really know how you're feeling. There's a part of that wishes we'd never started trying. It is all consuming and I think it is normal to feel sad/bitter/jealous/angry. Try and have a nice weekend - do anything to distract yourself. Try again with the doctors on Monday.

FuzzyOwl · 30/01/2016 12:07

I'm also fed up and down about not conceiving. So many people seem to get pregnant so easily but then a few close friends and relatives have struggled, so at least I know (most of them) understand and are supportive.

I think the fact I have quite long cycles doesn't help either, as it means it takes even longer to have another go. Still DH and I have spoken about it this morning and we are in definite agreement to do everything we can. I am going to start acupuncture this month and will be seeing a doctor in March if still not pregnant.

MrsKittenPie · 30/01/2016 09:24

Actually yes - I'm jealous and bitter too. Agree - I'm sick of feeling like this. neetie - might be worth not bothering for a month and it might take a little bit of pressure off you.

neetie1 · 30/01/2016 08:47

Totally with you ladies it's taken me all week to get over af coming last weekend. She has gone now do back to Dtd temping bit wondering wether to just not bother for this month then I have no clue when my fertile period is.

MrsFlowers82 · 30/01/2016 08:15

Sorry Prty Cake Brew Chocolate

I am also sick of it all and sick of everyone else only having to say the word shag and getting pregnant! As for sad I think I have gone past that, I'm now just jealous and bitter Blush

MrsKittenPie · 30/01/2016 07:33

prty - I know exactly how you feel. It's soul destroying. I go between angry and sad all the time. Look after yourself lovely and try to do something nice this weekend to take your mind off it a little x

PrtyPsn · 30/01/2016 07:16

Thanks, lovelies, I'm really down about the whole thing - coupled with the fact it's impossible to book a doctors appointment at my surgery... well, I just feel like giving up.

hippy let us know how you get on with acupuncturist today. I know what you mean ttc feels like a second full time job sometimes but there's never any benefit to me! We just have sex throughout the month although tends to be a bit more intense around FW (ha! Not that I'm fertile) but doesn't seem to work anyway. Am sick of it all too

neetie1 · 29/01/2016 12:18

I looked hippy I seemed to be about two different types lol af is almost done for me. Decided not to opk this month but will temp just deciding whether to try and not look at my charts at all.

hippybird · 29/01/2016 11:28

Hi all - sorry about my abrupt departure yesterday!

Prty apparently you're most likely to get IB around 9 DPO, but could be up to 12 DPO. There was quite a good, but equally unhelpful study I found that showed you're about as equally likely to be pregnant, or not pregnant if you spot early. Basically, it tells you nothing. It's not a reason to get your hopes up, but equally a reason to feel down either. Fingers crossed for you. One more day to wait. It's agony I know. Hope the wait is ok, and hope you're feeling better.

Snowy, how frustrating to have such a potentially long wait to get answers from the doc. We're about to arrange an SA as well, I'll let you know what our expected waiting times are.

fuzzy, any update? Hope it's not turned into AF.

Thanks for all the sympathy guys. My period has been really light this cycle, literally, the first day was medium heavy I would say, and weirdly mucus-y, then day 2 was light. Now on day three and I'm just spotting. It's a bit worrying, as it must mean my lining wasn't very full, meaning it would be difficult to achieve implantation. I'll talk to my acupuncturist today. So glad I am seeing her today, it feels good to be able to do something pro-active.

I had to admit I'm finding TTC hard, whilst trying to hold down a really demanding job. It almost makes me want to just give up. I can barely manage my day to day tasks, without having to worry about temping, and having to DTD on days when we're just exhausted. This month we've been just doing it when we want, on non fertile times as well, and it's been really nice. We had got to a point when we were mainly just DTD around the fertile Window then not really doing much in-between. How are you guys finding all of that?

Finally (sorry for epic post), for those of you with The Baby Making Bible (hereafter referred to as TBMB), have any of you figured out your fertile type yet?

glitterpoppy · 29/01/2016 07:49

Morning all, 8 days till I can test.. Convinced myself I felt nauseous this morning, although maybe I have just drunk my cuppa too quick..... Confused

MrsKittenPie · 28/01/2016 21:52

fuzzy sorry to hear of af - look after yourself and think of your new cycle.
prty - hope she isn't lurking

PrtyPsn · 28/01/2016 19:37

Hi hippy AF due tomorrow so yesterday I would have been 12dpo according to app (though cm was more abundant 2 days prior to when app said Ov was) pink cm hasn't really professed to anything when wiping but not swabbing again, I know she's lurking up there :/

hippybird · 28/01/2016 19:14

Hi everyone! Hi Prty! Glad to know you're alive, and good to have you back! We were worried about you. Sorry to hear you've had a hard time of it, and equally sorry to hear you've swabbed pink cm. But...you're not out yet! The amount I've read up on implantation bleeding the last few days, I know it is possible. What day after ovulation are you?

Ooh, hubby and DS just got back, will finish post later! X

FuzzyOwl · 28/01/2016 16:05

We can remind each other Prty. Sad

Officially on CD1 now! Hope everyone else is having a better day.

MrsKittenPie · 28/01/2016 15:04

prty - I know how you feel, when I get my spotting I feel so down but I am still thinking positive thoughts for you lovely, as long as af not arrived you're still in

PrtyPsn · 28/01/2016 14:52

fuzzy boooo for the BFN :(

OP posts:
PrtyPsn · 28/01/2016 14:52

Please remind me never to swab again, AF not here yet but it's absolute torture knowing she's on route, can't stop myself hoping but I know it's pointless.

OP posts:
MrsKittenPie · 28/01/2016 13:10

fuzzy - sorry to hear of bfn but if no af you might still get a bfp, fingers crossed x

FuzzyOwl · 28/01/2016 11:21

Thanks MrsFlowers

Still not AF MrsKittenPie but I got a BFN this morning. I am still expecting cycle six to begin today.

Hope everyone is ok today. Xx

MrsKittenPie · 28/01/2016 11:19

prty - so sorry to hear you've had such a bad time lovely. Hope the pain isn't as bad today xx
