Hi (big wave)
So you clicked on here cos you were looking for me (I'm flattered!) or the title seemed interesting!
I'm aware it doesn't really explain anything but we are bunch of lovely ladies all TTC and going ever so slightly crazy with it! For more info see our original thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2412386-TTC-anxious-over-early-pregnancy-possible-symptoms?msgid=56357000#56357000

And our most recent thread here -

We are symptoms spotters extraordinaire - you name it we've had it, real and/or imagined Confused
We are here to help, we are all supportive, we laugh, rant, cry, joke, rage, smile, and comfort together. Be you a lurker or poster (established or new) then you are very welcome here. We only have a few rules:

  1. No judgement - we all lead different lives and have different standards and that is fine. You wanna get wasted everyday of TWW, that's fine. You wanna abstain completely, that's fine. We need support, not judgement.
  2. No feeling stupid - we've all had those months where we definitely think we are pg 110% convinced and then AF turns up, don't feel bad about it, it happens. Also we all have different levels of knowledge so no question is stupid apart from the one you don't ask.
  3. On this thread there is no such thing as TMI - we are all adults and we all know how miraculous and amazing... and downright disgusting our bodies can be, it's fine. Share what you want, we will not be fazed.

So that's it, jump in and FX'd for all my lovelies xx

Oh that's good kitten I'm intrigued by acupuncture, I'm going to keep it in mind for myself. Am I right in thinking your DH works shifts too? It's hard DTD when they are working nights or lates, I find that too!

Anxiety neetie..? how long do you have to take the tablets for?

neetie1 · 02/02/2016 18:23

Well first things doc said when I walked through the door was 'are you pregnant?' mm no...
Told him about continued symptoms etc which are still going on he checked me over and basically said it's anxiety and prescribed me some tablets to take. mmm

MrsKittenPie · 02/02/2016 09:19

I'm fine thanks glitter - think I ovulated a couple of days ago - not managed as much dtd as we normally do - but it's done now so just a waiting game til test date now. Have acupuncture to look forward to for next cycle though so am hoping af won't hit me as hard this cycle - who am I kidding?! This is cycle 20 - not a good milestone Sad

glitterpoppy · 02/02/2016 07:33

Thanks kitten how're you?

MrsKittenPie · 02/02/2016 07:30

hippy - your acupuncture session sounded really interesting, I'm really looking forward to mine now Smile
glitter - fingers crossed the hormones are a sign of something good!

glitterpoppy · 01/02/2016 22:30

Hope you feel better neetie

hippy the acupuncture sounded good for you, keep us posted. I'm interested as keep thinking about it for myself.

Nothing new here, felt quite emotional tonight.. Cried watching masterchef earlier. My hormones are all over.. 5 days till I can POAS, either that or AF will come.. Either way I'm looking forward to either. After CD132 I just need to get this cycle over. Also at least the hospital appointment is Monday too.. I'm hoping they can miracle my cycles to a normal length.. FX anyway!

MrsFlowers82 · 01/02/2016 22:04

Hope you feel better Neetie xxx

MrsKittenPie · 01/02/2016 21:56

neetie - doesn't sound good - maybe it's some kind of virus? The dizziness sounds like an inner ear infection ?

neetie1 · 01/02/2016 21:14

Urgh dizzy spells are getting worse :(

neetie1 · 01/02/2016 19:40

Am going back to the docs before smear test is due, now af is all done have all the symptoms back from before. Backache, bloating, tight crampy feeling and dizzy spells...not nice.
Did a test just to make sure and neg so off to docs...this isn't right somehow

MrsFlowers82 · 01/02/2016 11:19

Hi all. Sorry just dropping in before a meeting so haven't had time to read everything properly. I hope everyone is ok.

I met my Dr this morning. Unsurprisingly I have to do the bloods again as my late period meant I was well out with 21day. She is so nice and kept saying that she is sure there is nothing to worry about, I'm under 35 and that it has only been ten months. She also said again that she tells patients to ignore the "fertile window" and focus on DTD every other day. I am going to try not to obsess this month... Currently I feel quite calm about it all.

hippybird · 01/02/2016 10:02

Hi all! Sorry for silence, just trying to get through blumming AF. It's been really wiping me this month, and my hormones have been all over the place. I've felt very sensitive, somebody just needs to say one thing slightly insensitively, or one little set-back, and I end up feeling tearful, tense and sad...
Kitten thanks for asking - it was a good session, thanks. I told her all about my weird cycle, I think at one point we both thought I could be pregnant, despite BFN (that I had done that day) and AF. Although now, I accept it was just a weird period. But it was very useful just to chat things through. She was trying to encourage me not to overthink things. She has diagnosed me as kidney ying/yang deficient, which means it's my busy modern life, taking it's toll on me. So she was encouraging me to relax, find time for myself, meditate, and try not to over-think everything. Sounds like lots of advice, but she's super nice, and I find it just the best thing seeing her. Whether I end I getting pregnant or not, I feel like I'll keep up acupuncture for the rest of my life, one way or another.
I hope you're all doing ok. Will read everything through later, and try and reply at lunch. Now, to get through Mobday morning. Sigh!

MrsKittenPie · 31/01/2016 21:16

Thanks prty - yes let's hope so x
Yes get af out the way lovely then think about the new cycle and how you're going forward. That's how I do it x
hippy - how your acupuncturist appointment go?

PrtyPsn · 31/01/2016 20:51

Sounds like great timing kitten FXd for this cycle for you, lovely x
Still not sure where I stand/what to do going forward atm... AF is still going strong, think I need to get her out of the way before I think about this cycle

Thanks fuzzy.
I got a darker opk today - to my surprise - so hopefully the surge is still happening. Managed to get our afternoon basting in today too so fingers crossed Grin

neetie1 · 31/01/2016 10:51

Well my resolve lasted a long time lol I peeked at when my fertile time is and it's this week with potential ov on thurs. DTD this morning so hoping we can be successful this month.

FuzzyOwl · 30/01/2016 23:16

I had one month MrsKitten when I had a positive surge a week earlier than expected but didn't actually ovulate. Hopefully this is the case for you and you still get all of next week before ovulation. If not, and you are ovulating tomorrow, then 2pm is still ok and Wednesday is still possible. Fingers crossed for you.

MrsKittenPie · 30/01/2016 20:36

fuzzy - he'll only be back at 4am which means no sex til at least 2pm tomorrow. I'm gutted, it's only cd13 and I usually get ovulation signs on cd 18/19. Thank you though - what you have said makes me feel better. It's so frustrating though - next week we would have lots of opportunities Hmm

neetie1 · 30/01/2016 20:19

Am only trying it for one month snowy lol my sis in law did the same when she was trying and conceived my nephew so it can work.

FuzzyOwl · 30/01/2016 20:17

What time will he be back MrsKittenPie? If you go by the fact you have four/five fertile days, that means Wednesday might be ok if you ovulate tonight and DTD tomorrow will be ok if it is tomorrow (but you could ovulate as late as Monday).

I wish I could take a break neetie but somehow POAS seems to be the only thing that makes me feel as if I am actually doing something to know whether I am actually in with a chance each month (obviously, other than DTD!).

I didn't know that snowy so I will remember for future. I need to book a smear test, so will make sure it is at a good time of the month.

neetie1 · 30/01/2016 19:43

I changed mine this week snowy as af had not quite finished so it's now on the 15th Feb.

snowy1982 · 30/01/2016 19:18

Just answered my own question, you are not supposed to DTD for 24-48 hours before a smear so I will have to change it

snowy1982 · 30/01/2016 19:04

This may be a silly question, but I have just realised I am due a smear on CD 14, my OPK are always positive on CD13 and 14 so obviously will be planning a lot of DTD over those days and the days letting up to them. So is it a good idea to have the smear then or should I reschedule?

MrsKittenPie · 30/01/2016 18:47

Cake and films sounds lovely prty Smile
So so frustrated. Had positive opk tonight. Not had sex since weds because of dh's shifts and he's working again tonight. So another month down the toilet. So pissed off Sad

neetie1 · 30/01/2016 17:49

Think I'm going to take a break from everything test wise this month. No opk , no temping nothing , will obviously still come on here but that's all.
