Hi (big wave)
So you clicked on here cos you were looking for me (I'm flattered!) or the title seemed interesting!
I'm aware it doesn't really explain anything but we are bunch of lovely ladies all TTC and going ever so slightly crazy with it! For more info see our original thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2412386-TTC-anxious-over-early-pregnancy-possible-symptoms?msgid=56357000#56357000

And our most recent thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2480630-So-its-John-Wayne-vs-Les-Dawson-in-The-Great-British-Pee-Off-and-Prtys-judging-get-ready-to-be-basted-lovelies?pg=1&order=

We are symptoms spotters extraordinaire - you name it we've had it, real and/or imagined Confused
We are here to help, we are all supportive, we laugh, rant, cry, joke, rage, smile, and comfort together. Be you a lurker or poster (established or new) then you are very welcome here. We only have a few rules:

  1. No judgement - we all lead different lives and have different standards and that is fine. You wanna get wasted everyday of TWW, that's fine. You wanna abstain completely, that's fine. We need support, not judgement.
  2. No feeling stupid - we've all had those months where we definitely think we are pg 110% convinced and then AF turns up, don't feel bad about it, it happens. Also we all have different levels of knowledge so no question is stupid apart from the one you don't ask.
  3. On this thread there is no such thing as TMI - we are all adults and we all know how miraculous and amazing... and downright disgusting our bodies can be, it's fine. Share what you want, we will not be fazed.

So that's it, jump in and FX'd for all my lovelies xx

Glad things are being looked into for you glitter although I understand why you find it a bit scary.

Any news Kitten? Really hope AF has stayed away for you.

Hope you are feeling better Prty and snowy.

I was expecting to ovulate in about four/five+ days and intended to start DTD tonight accordingly except I have got a really strong positive opk today and haven't DTD for a week. I am so cross and sad that I am effectively out this week - especially since I ignored cm and twinges for the last couple of days because I was so tired. Will DTD tonight but realistically, it is too late. Maybe my acupuncture brought forward ovulation. I don't know. Sad

neetie1 · 11/02/2016 19:35

Am still about also but it's last week of term plus two parents evenings so 12 hr days at work and one tired me. Also in TWW think I have another week to go but have been really good and not looked at any charts at all so no clue when I'm due on just have a rough idea when. I think it should be middle of next week.

snowy1982 · 11/02/2016 06:49

Have been in a similar boat to prty been so ill the last couple days, feeling a little bit more human today though. Am in TWW but the illness has kept me distracted from it so madness hasn't descended yet, although it doesn't normally until the 2nd week so I could be singing a different tune next week

PrtyPsn · 10/02/2016 21:52

Sorry guys, I've been so ill with the flu that even opening my eyes was an effort (I'm not even joking - I've been bed bound for 4 days)
Hope everyone is doing well, I'll try and back track the comments x

Hi kitten and glitter!! I've not abandoned you!! Smile I've just been really distracted by work the last few days. It is just SO stressful. I can't imagine getting pregnant with all this stress in my life! I've just escaped from work for an hour, to read my book in peace. Was up for 2 hours last night, worrying about work!!
kitten sorry about the spotting, but it's early enough to be possible implantation, and if AF does arrive, you'll have acupuncture to give you renewed hope!
glitter sounds like you've really made some progress! keep us posted. Next Weds doesn't feel too far away. Good luck with the 1ww with that!
Maybe we're all feeling blue with the end of winter. Vitamin D deficient, and suffering S.A.D. Hopefully the arrival of spring soon will cheer us!
Bye for now! X

glitterpoppy · 10/02/2016 07:38

Thanks kitten that's made me feel better. I don't think it helped sitting with all the pregnant ladies waiting for their scans when I was at hospital! I'm starting to worry today as I'm abit of a worrier.. I've started taking this provera for 10 days, 10 days should end next Wednesday. If AF doesn't show straight away we will be at the weekend. What if AF shows up on Saturday.. Will I be able to go anywhere for bloods on the Sunday?

Oh you're not out yet with spotting, your not out until the big fat lady arrives!!

MrsKittenPie · 09/02/2016 22:48

Thanks glitter - I was going to poas Friday but had a little spotting tonight so looks like game over again. Am going to be gutted with af again.
Sorry you're feeling blue, I am too. Sometimes it seems that no one else in the world struggles to get pregnant and I get really angry/sad all the time. Try not to get stressed lovely - the tests you are having will help the doctors who can then sort everything out for you. I really am excited for you as you're moving on with a plan of action and that bfp is just waiting round the corner for you!

glitterpoppy · 09/02/2016 22:15

Ooh keep us updated on the acupuncture, I'm really intrigued by it as have heard so much about it! Oh 8 dpo.. You never know, it maybe your time this time around. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. When are you POAS?

Ah thank you for your kind words.. I've needed some, I've got myself all stressed out about it all. Think I'll feel better when all the tests are done and can go back for the results and finally get things sorted and plans put in place as how to fix things. Just feeling abit blue today.. I've been surrounded by babies and 1st birthdays all day at work and just feeling like it will never happen x

MrsKittenPie · 09/02/2016 21:09

Hey glitter - I think they have Sad
I bet it's good to know that the ball is rolling now and soon you'll get af and then get on with your tests, keep us updated. I'm excited for you!
I'm okay thank you. Am 8dpo today, af usually arrives about 12dpo. Am in a really bad mood today so the hormones are there ready for af arrival. I've got my first acupuncture appointment on Monday - I keep worrying about how much it's going to cost but then I have to give it a try for my own peace of mind. At least it'll hopefully be early enough in my cycle to do what it's supposed to do Hmm

glitterpoppy · 09/02/2016 20:24

Hi kitten.. I'm not sure.. Has everyone deserted us?

Day 2 of taking the provera today.. Got to take it for 10 days to force AF to come.

How're you kitten?

MrsKittenPie · 09/02/2016 20:08

Where is everyone? Sad

MrsKittenPie · 08/02/2016 22:46

snowy - hope your granny is okay. We only managed a couple of times this fw too but as they say it only takes once - fingers crossed!
glitter - that all sounds very thorough- it must be good to feel like things are moving towards your bfp. I was a bit Shock at ovarian drilling- sounds complicated!!
Anyone testing soon? I'm 7dpo today so the madness has kicked in, I need the distraction of someone poas Grin

glitterpoppy · 08/02/2016 20:41

Hi all, had my hospital appointment today. I think it went well, trying to think positive anyway that things are getting looked into. They have given me something to force a bleed now which I have to take for 10 days, then the first day of my cycle I have to ring and book an appointment for like a X-ray of my womb where they inject dye into me basically to check there's no blockages. Then the second day of my cycle I need to go have my bloods done. DH also has a sperm assessment to do, but least he can do this in his own time and drop it in! Then I have to go back in 3 months to discuss everything and then they will see what they want to do to move forward however she first mentioned clomid but then said they may recommend ovarian drilling to sort my PCOS out as apparently success rates are very high. Sounds very scary!!

glitterpoppy · 08/02/2016 07:31

Thanks snowy sorry to hear you've been ill and about your granny.. Keep your chin up. Hugs x

snowy1982 · 08/02/2016 07:28

Sorry to hear about your mum flowers.

glitter try not to be too nervous about your appointment, just think of it as another step in the right direction.

Am officially into the TWW again, well today is the last day of fertile window but both DH and myself have been struck down with some bug or something, we've managed to DTD a couple times in the FW, but think if I was to suggest it again today he might actually cry. Add to that the fact that my granny has been taken into hospital and neither of us is feeling at all like it. Nothing to do now but keep fingers crossed and wait

hippybird · 08/02/2016 06:53

So so sorry Flowers, sending you hugs and love! Xx

glitterpoppy · 07/02/2016 21:30

It's my hospital appointment tomorrow.. Starting to feel nervous but just hope they can sort me out!

glitterpoppy · 07/02/2016 21:29

So sorry to hear flowers will be thinking of you.

neetie1 · 07/02/2016 10:06

So sorry flowers fingers crossed and best wishes to your mum x

MrsKittenPie · 07/02/2016 08:42

mrs - so sorry to hear about your mum. I hope they can help her. Thinking of you and your family xxx

FuzzyOwl · 07/02/2016 00:19

Oh MrsFlowers I am so sorry to hear that. Thinking of your mum and your family. Take care and I really hope it can be treated and the pain managed. Xxx

MrsFlowers82 · 06/02/2016 23:56

Hi all. Sorry for not reading or replying to anyone properly. My mum found out this week that her cancer has spread. I am all over the place. I probably won't be here that much, TTC is the last thing on my mind. I hope you are all OK xxx

FuzzyOwl · 06/02/2016 23:17

Soy is supposed to work as a natural clomid hippy and whilst I have never used it, I have heard lots of positive stories and plan on giving it a go next cycle if I still don't get my BFP.

hippybird · 06/02/2016 23:10

Hiya! Poor you Prty - feel well soon. I'll be there for Yooouuu, when the rain starts to fall, I'll be there for Yooouuu, like I've been there before, etc... Gotta lobe friends!
neetie, glad you're feeling a bit better now. Good luck with tww! I've just joined you!
glitter never heard of soy for fertility, can you elaborate?
My nipples are super sore today! That's a sign I've just ovulated, right? Does anyone know? I'm not speculating... Promise! Tra-la-la-la!
