Thanks blue. I think I ovulated on 9/10 December so somewhere between 10-11 dpo.

I think the next 12 weeks are going to seem like an eternity!

Hi Canters, I'd love to go to Japan, are you there for work or fun?
My usual temp is 96.2-4 ish as I seem to run cold. Now it's 97.9-98.2. So pretty hot for me! I'm going to have a glass or two of wine on Christmas Day because even if I'm blessed with a bfp beforehand, it's such a small amount and it won't affect the baby at all. No point totally restricting myself until I know for sure!

elle, I tested this morning, cycle day 25. Has confirmed that for me Ovia was a week out in terms of when I ovulated.

Lara, OH is at work but I've told him. Not sure it has sunk in yet. Was our first month of trying so I am very (happily) surprised. Definitely hasn't sunk in yet though! I need to get a doctors appointment sorted but will do that tomorrow.

Hate to say it but I think there is a bit of a bug going around at the mo. I had a day of horrid cold last thurs, then felt nauseous and dizzy over the weekend and am still not right today. Why do all these stupid bugs mimic early pregnancy, isn't having pms enough?!

well BFN today.... but that was expected (?9-11dpo)! I should have held out and saved the test!
Not going to do any more now unless AF stays away (friday) at the earliest!
If i can hold out 'til sunday then all the better.
I have 3 more tests to play with. I wish I had some symptoms to make me feel more confident!

I had a huge dip on Saturday then spiked back up yesterday and is stil high today! I'm 6/7dpo. Went to the cinema yesterday afternoon and had a really weird super hot flush, felt quite dizzy and unwell for a few minutes. I'm definitely hotter than usual overnight, my dh thinks I'm ill. During the day I'm crampy on and off and keep feeling warm but I'm still fighting this cold and sore throat. Trying not to get my hopes up. Probably going to start to test on Wednesday. At the same time I'm due af on Monday so I might just wait. I'm not sure I want to ruin Christmas with a bfn.

We are similar DrWhy! Though not seeing each other every day (due to work)-may settle down once we are!

I bought first response tests this morning Lara. Was planning to test only if I had symptoms this week. Feel quite nauseous today since waking up-it hasn't gone away. Went to a barbecue yesterday though so may just have been dodgy burger? Will POAS on Wednesday if I don't feel back to normal by then or if AF still hasn't arrived. What cycle day were you when you tested Pink?

Sorry to hear about the BFN China but o guess it means some bubbly is an option over Christmas and New Year.

On another note has anyone else found their Dec drive has leapt up after coming off the pill? I've been on it most of the time for eek - 18 years and I kept finding my sex drive was frustratingly sky high when I was single and cratered when I got a few months in to a long term relationship - assumed I was just bored, never connected it with the pill! DH can't believe his luck! Feels like when we first got together! I'm slightly worried about people saying every other day for DTD when TTC as we are definitely more frequent at the mo, I guess I'll have to wait and see if it has an effect.
I'm fertile window now according to Ovia so I'll have to wait until the new year to join the obsessive POAS brigade!

I have caved and bought tests (asda) Got tampons at the same time though to try and balance it!

Runner I think I'm 13dpo. However had a couple of days of smaller amounts of ewcm after a large blob (sorry!) I had the day I thought I o'd, so maybe only 11dpo. Gut feeling now is that I'm out, though. Gonna try some pre seed next month and EOD shagging, I think.

Getting v excited about wedding. Have gone all out with Christmas/winter related things- sparklers, mulled wine, ginger cake (my cake lady thought it would be festive!), Christmas tree and candles. Honeymoon in Japan after Now if only we could come back with a baby on board....!

DH and I are going to take a month of condoms until we get back from skiing and that means I can enjoy Christmas worry free
