Join us. It's a boat. Full of okp's and symptom spotting and insanity! But also much love and support! We were supposed to start next month, we already have a few bfp's! Our dps don't know what's hit them!

Stay positive Dub and China! Just keep DTD lots and try to stay calm (easier said than done I know) and positive Flowers

Oh, and have a good old drink on Christmas day as hopefully you'll both be off alcohol next month!

Als China, yes!! Absolute pile of rubbish! I remember as a teen being convinced that touching a penis and then myself would result in pregnancy....no sodding chance!

Starky that's a lovely story! Well I am enjoying the book and am certainly going to put some of the techniques into practice. Onwards and upwards to our 2016 bfps Smile

Dubs, it's ok to feel disappointed...because it is disappointing. Continuing with the woo theme up thread but I think it's far better to allow yourself to get rid of all that emotion and bad energy as AF arrives and move onto the next cycle fresh and positive. Of course come weds when AF rocks up I will probably have a little cry and a stiff gin....but it's ok to be a bit sad.

Jam, those symptoms are sounding positive! When will you start poas? Can you pee on an opk at the same time to contribute to the wealth of research on this thread?! Grin

I can't believe a whole month of unprotected sex has resulted in a BFN! It's stupid, I was symptom spotting and convinced... I'm shocked that I feel disappointed. A little relieved but mainly disappointed.
Shit. How the fuck do we do this for months on end?!! This month has been so distracting!

I feel like my teens and 20's were based on a foundation of lies!!! Grin

Still no AF however, wonder where that cow has got to?

I believe in all that woo stuff too! I bought wee knitted cardigan (colorful but neutral) and I keep imagining a baby in it!

I'm feeling sick to my stomach since eating. Is that nausea? Or is nausea more an in your head type sensation?

I'd just like to extend a thanks to everyone on here for cheering me up, starky your posts are brilliant! Feeling very meh today, bfn, no af, not really any symptoms of either and just found out on the dreaded fbk that my ex has got engaged.

But I need to pull myself together really! Got a lovely OH and we're happy, this is not my first month post-pill and if I don't get bfp I can't drink at Christmas woo! Lots more bfps in 2016 I reckon!

Oh and had really awful uti symptoms yesterday that had me literally running to the loo every half hour but that's cleared up totally today!

Well I had a positive OPK last Thursday so thankfully had DTD before a few times and then after. Every day since Friday/Saturday, I've had a really bad stomach (cramps, diarrhoea), yesterday I threw up a few times, I've had 2 spontaneous nosebleeds for no apparent reason and just generally feel shattered and shitty!
It may just be a bug going round but I'm hoping it's something more. My poor husband thinks I just used him for sperm and then forgotten about him as my sex drive has literally been non existent for the past week!

Hey jam welcome! These girls and this thread have been a lifeline and a source of positivity and love, as well as an education! who knew a basal thermometer went in your mouth and not up your floo!

canters I try and do a bit of visualisation, I always used to tell myself when I was single that I would meet a man who adored me, got my sense of humour and enjoyed my company, that I deserved to be cherished. And as soon as I laid eyes on my now Dh I told my friend "I'm either going to marry that man or be single forever" and then the stars aligned! He asked me out a few weeks later and we've been together ever since! I've always known I wanted to be a Mammy, so I've got my fx it happens!

Weirdly, I enjoy a bit of woo. I firmly believe in ghosts/spirits and that things happen when they're supposed to! We will all get our bfp's! come he'll or high water Grin

Funnily enough starky I had a book arrive today called trying to get pregnant and succeeding, by Marisa Peer. Anyhow she's a hypnotherapist who does a lot of work with ladies trying to get preggers, and she believes successful pregnancy is a lot to do with visualisation and seeing yourself as a mother. All a bit woo but one of the things she recommended is buying some baby bits before you get pregnant because it reinforces that view.....so on with the baby shopping! What stuff do you make? Do you knit?!

I think I'm just gonna embrace the crazy symptom spotting as part of the fun. Snow, I thought marriage meant you could fart when you like? I'm stuffed if it doesn't, I've been holding everything in for the last 2 years awaiting next weekend! Once that rings on he's stuck with me mwahahaha

You guys have just made my day reading through all the posts! Firstly, a lot of BFPs here which gives me a lot of hope that it's not just an elusive holy grail I'm reaching out for.
Secondly, it's good to see you are all just as obsessed as me symptom spotting!

This is my first cycle TTC and I'm 10 or 11dpo but BFNs at the moment. I've a few symptoms but not convinced it's my turn this month. Trying to wait another 2 days before testing again. This thread might save my sanity though!

snow I've got a funny windy belly too possibly just anxiety and I'm thirsty like I can't tell you! I have been known to purposefully wait for Dh to be in earshot before I fart though! If it's a big one and I'm alone I always feel like it was a waste! Xmas Grin I don't know how he puts up with me either

You're not crazy, you're excited that's how I'm phrasing it anyway! Haha I just dug all my okp's out of the bathroom bin to check them all against one another. I've got literally no idea if I've ovulated. Mydays and ovia are at odds, I can't tell whether I've got cm or if it's just residual (TMI !) Seminal fluid! Im feeling all maudlin, but thats probably because I'm tired and it's just gone dark all of a sudden!

In an attempt to be positive though, my dsis is coming over tonight, we have snacks and chocolate and my tree looks lovely, and I've lit two vanilla/gingerbread candles so my house smells nice! 🎄🎢🌹

Weirdly I'm having a lot of drool lately... Admittedly my house is full of chocolate oranges etc in preparation for festivities later this week so I might just be a bit of a pig. And I've got a weird gas bubble feeling like I'm brewing a really big fart. My dh will leave me if I mortify myself with a giant one Xmas Blush

I think I'm officially crazy. And this only my first cycle.

snow definetly enjoy some wine over Christmas! It may be the last time you can drink for a while with any luck!

I'm not excited for Christmas yet, I will be when Dh gets back home and I can relax about him not being on the road! And then shopping on Wednesday kill me now Xmas Grin we're probably going 4 camp at my dps Christmas eve, despite us living literally 5 minutes up the road!

My okp from this morning was virtually no existent, line-wise. So I'm still none the wiser over if when I ovulated! But I suppose I'll know more know for next month to start okp's a few days after af arrives so I can try and time it more accurately! Dh has gone now, but my dsis is coming to stay tonight so I won't be all on my own for too long! I'm not sure what's going on but I've been on a 15 interval wee schedule since yesterday evening!

drink first elle How is everyone? Has it sunk in yet pink and blue
canters I've been making baby clothes the past few months, and we've got a moses basket already haha, in fairness, it cost £1 so it was his idea to buy it, just hoping I'll have something to put in it soon!
