Join us. It's a boat. Full of okp's and symptom spotting and insanity! But also much love and support! We were supposed to start next month, we already have a few bfp's! Our dps don't know what's hit them!

I reserve the right to change my mind 83 times about not testing though. I have 20 internet cheapies sat in my bathroom. I just really know it'll make me so sad at a happy time if I'm not. So in a way I'd rather carry on deluding myself Xmas Blush

Snowdog37 · 21/12/2015 19:41

I'm 7dpo today according to when I felt ovulation last Monday. Probably going to test after Christmas as I don't want to ruin it for myself if this is all nothing. I'd rather have the tingly excitement of what if, than a resounding nope. I'm due af on the 28th or 29th, I have a short cycle 25 days or so.

LaraG13 · 21/12/2015 19:37

But snow, everyone's symptoms are different and plenty of people get nothing. My sister said she had zero symptoms until about week 6. So good to be excited! My cramping today has made me excited too. But trying to keep realistic so I'm not too disappointed at a BFN.

KatOnATinRo0f · 21/12/2015 19:33

I've only made baby things to gift away as yet... And bigger things for me. I will just quickly use up my entire stash before getting upduffed so then I can buy lovely new wool to make lovely things for my offspring.

And yes... Runner is definitely resident expert.

Pinklily1 · 21/12/2015 19:33

Snow, sorry if i've missed it but when are you poas?

Snowdog37 · 21/12/2015 19:29

I just had a little squee moment of excitement Xmas Grin then realized my boobs don't hurt, not sure what my cm is like, I'm not bone tired and I might just have food poisoning lol. But it's so exciting to give myself a moment to think I might actually be with child! Now I have to go back to reality and carry on like normal as its Christmas this week and I'm about as prepared for it as a chocolate teapot has use.

LaraG13 · 21/12/2015 19:24

I like that logic Stark! I'm going to sew away for my imaginary (hopefully future) baby!

LaraG13 · 21/12/2015 19:15

snow that's definitely nausea! Very promising! Fx!!

StarkyTheDirewolf · 21/12/2015 19:10

The way I look at it lara ill keep making stuff, and then it's there ready if/when I get my bfp, if not, I can gift it away and other people will be able to enjoy it! Get sewing! My dsis is the sewer in our family, she's much better with a machine than me! Unless you want a crooked hemline with puckering, then I'm your girl!

runner is definetly the resident expert! And we are lucky to have her!

I've googled myself into a state of perpetual information overload 😜 I feel like I've been sat in a hot car reading after eating too much greasy kfc. That's the best way I can explain it lol. It's mostly passed now but it was pretty intense for a while there. Definitely not in my head (like everything else could be!) but it could be anything so I'm going to see what happens in the next few days. My cats and dog will not leave me alone, which is pretty strange too.

I really love the idea of making things for my future baby, a blanket is a lovely idea!

Thanks all of you for tolerating my crazy. It's wonderful, it really is, to have somewhere to ask stupid questions or talk about cervical mucus. My husband picks up his phone and starts playing some stupid game if I try to talk about bodily functions and or fluids. He's lovely and really supportive and really wants a baby with me, but the minutiae and grossness really aren't his forte.

Runner05 · 21/12/2015 19:07

Lol, nothing to do with spending hours and hours looking up preggo tests on the internet Wink

StarkyTheDirewolf · 21/12/2015 19:07

kat I'm on cd16, ovia tells me to test in 12 days but I'm not even sure if I've ovulated! And af isn't due till the 12th of Jan, so it's going to be a long few weeks for me! Ikwym though, never thought other peoples periods would be so scintillating! Grin where is everybody else up to?

It could be either first are you using ovia? I get very confused as to who is and who isn't, especially this week with so many graduating! When are you due on?

LaraG13 · 21/12/2015 19:05

Runner I think you might be the resident pregnancy test expert for the team :)

LaraG13 · 21/12/2015 19:04

That could be promising First! When is your AF due and are you fairly regular?

LaraG13 · 21/12/2015 19:03

Welcome Jam! You're at similar time in your cycle to me, Elle and First. And pink but she's just had her BFP! I haven't tested yet. Holding out. Had no real symptoms but today my lower tummy feels very bloated and achey. Probably nothing!

Stark I love that you're making baby stuff! I was thinking about making a blanket and mat (I sew rather than knit/crochet) but felt it was too early. But fuck it, if you are I can too!

StarkyTheDirewolf · 21/12/2015 19:00

See I've never had car sickness so I wouldn't know if they were similar, I just thought nausea was feeling off colour, like off your food, smells making our feel sick etc. Like tummy bug feeling. Morning sickness can hit yiu immediately and without warning I've heard!

No such thing as a stupid question snow and from what I've found, if one of us doesn't know, somebody else will, and we all Google like champs!

kat i think it's because of the dye, the way the blue ones run across can be misleading. I'll have a look see if I can find anything definitive.

Thanks turner* Smile it is such a supportive thread, and everyone here is so kind! We are lucky!

Ok so this evening a slightly browny pink CM. Start of AF? Or ?? Implantation bleed. I have no idea how long my LP is, but I had positive opk 9th/10th December. .... no cramps

Runner05 · 21/12/2015 18:55

Kat pink ones are more sensitive than blue and less prone to give you a evap line/false positive.

KatOnATinRo0f · 21/12/2015 18:52

And stark I crochet too!! I have just made lovely snowflake cushions for Xmas presents, I am halfway through one blanket (started AGES ago, got bored) and started another one (made about 9 12in squares, had to stop to start making Xmas presents) and I have another one that is in use but still hasn't had all the ends woven in...

So I'm on CD4 along with Bub, who else is going to be getting their BFP at the end of Jan with us?? I'm a bit lost where everyone is be use of all the BFP excitement. (Is it strange to be this interested/excited about the menstrual cycles of strangers???)

Whyissheontheship · 21/12/2015 18:48

I've heard morning sickness is like car sickness snow

Snowdog37 · 21/12/2015 18:41

Sounds lovely Starky! I'm all for dressing boys in pink and sparkles! We've decided on a girls name, but not a boys.

Sorry if my question about nausea was stupid lol. I don't know whether it's more a carsick type sensation or a stomach ache type thing that makes you feel warm and pukey? Whatever nausea is I just had an hour or so of it getting progressively worse and then settling a bit. Now my stomach just feels a bit achy like I could puke but won't. Fun times!

KatOnATinRo0f · 21/12/2015 18:38

And back to preg tests- why is pink line better that blue line?? I've had blue line ones, never had a pink. Must run out immediately and get pink sticks to pee on.

Turnertime14 · 21/12/2015 18:37

Well said starky! From what I've read - this is a really supportive group!

KatOnATinRo0f · 21/12/2015 18:36

I go to work for a day and there are a hundred posts!!!

Congrats pink!!!
Welcome newbies!

I had a rubbish day at work today. I officially have man-flu (this cold is so bad it must be the type men get as I feel really rotten) have also felt really sick all day. A small part of me thought that it must mean I am pg ... And the AF I had over the weekend was... Er.... Just nothing to worry about. Some people still bleed and don't know they are pg apparently?! ... But chances of that are really 0% so have decided that I am just ill. On sofa and trying to get better in time for fertile week.

StarkyTheDirewolf · 21/12/2015 18:34

canters I crochet, currently making a star shaped blankie (and about 3 other cardis because I can't concentrate on one project for long enough at the minute!)

snow I've been making all pretty, girly stuff, I'm going to have to do a gender neutral name because if I had a boy he's totally wearing the sparkly shit I've made! Grin I always think of nausea just as the waves of sickness that permeates from the stomach up. You poor thing! I've had a stinking headache on and off all week so I sympathise completely!

dubs that's the way to look at it! Positive and on the bright side! We can enjoy Christmas, then new year, new fresh start! We've got a lovely thread full of happy bfp's to kick start us off! I still can't believe we've been so lucky to have so many! And for all of us still waiting, our turn will come, and all the anticipation of that! And until then we've got all our new baby mama's leading the way with their beans in their bellies, and the excitement yet to come!
