Ttc#1 THREAD 3. Some bfp's, some bfn's, cervical mucus examination class of what was supposed to be January 2016.

Join us. It's a boat. Full of okp's and symptom spotting and insanity! But also much love and support! We were supposed to start next month, we already have a few bfp's! Our dps don't know what's hit them!

Hi all,
Please help I'm so confused..
This seemed the right thread to ask this🧐
We are trying for another baby I'm having to do homework this time as my daughter was a one hit wonder..
I had my period as usual 5days..
3/4 day later I had stiff gummy stretchy mucus I thought ovulation? But then 7 days after my period I had slimey stretchy mucus for 1.5 days but 10 days after my period I had light pink spotting that lasted a couple hours..
Does this all sound normal? Which one was ovulation?
It's a confusing mine field on the Internet and I'm more confused now than I was before 🤷‍♀️🤔

Bit of advice for when you get your BFPs... Don't bother making a dr appointment. It's a complete waste of time, just book a midwife appointment and leave it at that Hmm

canters I think if you dtd a couple of days before ov it can still work?

Got a definite bfn on a Superdrug early detection with pink dye today so I'm pretty sure the digi was playing tricks on me yesterday. Just wish af would arrive now!

Snow, spotting could be implantation spotting particularly with the cramps. 8-9dpo is the right time for that.....just saying.

So no AF yet. Normally get brown spotting night before then starts in morning.

If it comes today ovia predicts ov at the day before my wedding, when d almost h and I will be apart with no chance of shagging. If it comes tomorrow that should push everything back to a wedding day ov, right?!

8-9dpo and had a teeny bit of spotting overnight, now have pre-af cramps starting to rear their ugly head. My temp went down a bit this morning (still about 1 degree above my pre-ovulation temp) and nothing else to report really. Starting to feel that I'll be on the January bus, which is ok as I'll be able to drink as much Baileys and cider as I want over Christmas and new year! And my cycle is short so I'll be ready to start dtd again around the 6th. Will take a test tomorrow or Saturday but not Christmas Day as that's a day of fun and family and I don't want to be maudlin. This is a roller coaster of emotions, can't seem to just be one particular mood about it 😜

Thank you for the reassurance on Christmas alcohol pre FW! I think I might be last to hop on the December bus, fertile window starting 27th....! Good luck to everyone testing soon. Its exciting for us spectators as well!

BFN for me yesterday on Superdrug test and now looks like AF is coming. 4 days early! So instead of our secret little BFP for Christmas, looks like I'm going to the in laws with a stomach bug and full on AF. Whoop whoop! Bring on the booze!
Good luck to all testing and anyone left on the December bus. I'll be joining the Jan bus shortly!

Is everyone all sorted for Christmas? I am not sure I am but hoping family understand the wedding is taking precedent. Looking forward to as much lovely food and booze as possible on 25th Grin

starky glad that your OH is back :) I haven't got any frer in yet but still no sign of af this morning!

drink thanks for the extra eyes! I'm on CD31 today (based on withdrawal bleed only - first month off the pill). Just hoping I'm not going to have a ridiculously long cycle like I've read lots of people have. I'll wait and test again tmrw if no af by then (if I can hold out!).

Fx for 3rd harriet and fx for you first and lara - looks like it's a bit of a poas Christmas party for us all!

Fx she doesn't arrive and you're just being hideously teased. They say any brown blood/spotting is left over from the previous cycle not a new one. You're not out till you're out!

As it happens I did bunch as af tried to arrive, but I've just had very minimal brown discharge, not even enough for a panty liner. BFN. Usually start in the evening I'm due (today). No cramps yet, so I'll test again in 2 days if she doesn't come properly.

I think that's a very sensible idea first it could either be a precious Christmas gift or look at it like it's a free ticket to festive drinks!

I'm getting weird cramps, but it's probably my anxiety easing off now Dh is back and safe in bed next to me! (We are ridiculously co-dependant!)

starky no i held off re-testing today. decided it was too soon after potential implantation bleed. I think i will try and wait until thursday/friday.

That's my test date too harriet although af isn't due till the 12th, so I may hold off on testing until a bit later to actually test.

Have you tested/retested today first ?

After saying I have no symptoms (think I'm 10dpo), today I've had definite cramping and mild nausea. Also my teeth are aching - weird! Don't want to get too excited but am secretly kind of hoping these might be good signs.

first I hope the next few days go your way!
