Kkkkk that's a nice way of seeing things. I had never really thought about it but you are right they are attractive around ov 😂.

Hope you catch the egg now hun Grini would go for everyday if u have the energy and dh sperm is good.

I'm on cd 22 so another 4-5 days till poas. Cross fingers for me.

Thanks Mimi. How often should we DTD? Last month we did it every day from day 10-14 but I read somewhere that every other day is better. Also, last month my ovulation kit gave me the go ahead on day 12. I think I usually ovulate on day 12 or 13. Today is CD11 so getting geared up. Trying not to get my hopes up this month but it's hard!

Hope your DH is less annoying! I love my DH to bits but he also drives me mad at times. He can do no wrong when I am ovulating but by CD15 will be annoying me! Is it just me or does your DH seem particularly amazing and attractive when you are ovulating?

Mimilicious013 · 21/03/2016 15:34

Hie candy fx u get lucky this month hun. Hopefully by the time u visit gp u would have your bfp.

Cd9,so ov is right around the corner better start dtd often.

I'm on cd21 of a 26-28 cycle .i have no symptom at all so am not holding my breath.

Dh is irritating me loads lately,i hope I get over it soon

HI Mimi, I am on CD9 but feeling a bit defeated about the whole thing so not sure I will even do the ovulation testing this month. Can't face getting all hopeful for it not to happen again. Made a GP appointment for 14 April which, I don't get pregnant this month, will be 5 months of TTC. How are you? What CD are you on?

Mimilicious013 · 16/03/2016 16:14

Hie candy hope u doing well. The white lie shouldn't be a problem haha. Ttc for more than 6 months when u are above 35 should get u checked up. It will put your mind at ease, so I guess it's worth it.

What cd are u on now? Good luck this cycle hun?

I'm 2dpo so it's going to be a long tww.

Hope u don't go missing again Wink

Thanks Mimi, I do hope you're right. Is it too early to see the gp, do you think? DH reckons we should tell a white lie and say we've been trying for a year!

Mimilicious013 · 12/03/2016 20:07

Just turned 35 and dh45.the good thing is that u both know u can conceive. It just needs a little more patience I think. It hasn't been easy especially when some are easily getting bfps but I know that my time will come too.

Keep on keep keeping onSmile

Thanks so much Mimi. Glad you are staying positive and that you were successful TTC after a year. Shows there is definitely hope! I am 39 (40 in July). I have two DSs, nearly 8 and 6, with my ex DH, both of who were conceived in a few months. DH is 46 and has 2 DC, 12 and 10, so we're wondering if our combined older age is an issue. Just don't understand how we conceived before pretty much immediately and now it's not happening. How old are you, do you mind me asking?

Mimilicious013 · 12/03/2016 18:59

Hun not him

Mimilicious013 · 12/03/2016 18:58

Sorry candy (hugs). I wouldn't worry yet. I had dd after trying for a year. I'm on my 9th cycle. Tired frustrated but hopeful.

Hang in there him and try out smthng new this cycle. How old are u if u don't mind me asking?

Urrggh, AF just arrived. Really upset although did suspect. This is our 4th month of trying. Do you reckon we should be worried?

Mimilicious013 · 12/03/2016 10:16

Not necessarily unreliable, but they take a little longer to test a bfp. Hope af has stayed away. Have u poas again today?

OP posts:
CandyCrush77 · 12/03/2016 08:35

Ooh, thanks Mimi. Just what I wanted to hear! Are the cheaper kits def more unreliable?

Mimilicious013 · 12/03/2016 05:35

Hi candy u still might get your bfp. I had a bfp on an ic 2 days after af was late that should be about 16dpo so fx for good news soon.

I know how tiresome the journey is but good luck and keep us posted.

Can i join this thread? I am 12 DPO and just got a BFN with a cheap (£1.99) testing kit. 4th month of trying and getting more convinced it's never gonna happen as I'm approaching 40 and DH is 46. No signs of pregnancy or PMT for that matter other than extreme hunger and irritability. Is there still hope of getting a BFP this month, does anyone reckon? How reliable are the cheap kits if used before your period is due? Not sure I can stand this every month.

Mimilicious013 · 11/03/2016 10:16

That is great news beth
All that's left is lots of dtd haha. Hope u are luckier than me and won't take too long.

I'm on cd10 so busy every night. Where are u on cycle. Fx for your bfp soon.

I'm taking royal jelly and baby aspirin this month. So very hopeful.

Hey mimi, Dr said my progesterone was within normal levels. Thing is I had the test on day 21 cos have been having 28 day cycles, this month it was 34 so blood test would have been to early. Have had a day 1-5 blood test now to to look at all hormone levels and that's come back fine do just keep trying I guess! How's things with you? ?

Mimilicious013 · 10/03/2016 18:21

Hello beth how did the appointment with the doc go? Hope all is well and fx for the new cycle.

Hie bloody were u lucky enough to get a bfp hun?

Mimilicious013 · 02/03/2016 09:18

Sorry beth.best of luck at the doc's tmrw.u must be so frustrated. Last month my cycle was up to 40days when I'm regularly a 26-28 day girl. Hope they have a good plan for u.fx

BloodyHell33 · 02/03/2016 06:59

Hi OP we must be about the same? I'm 10dpo this morning and got a BFN on an IC.

It's really unlikely that I'll get a BFP as DH was away when I O'd.

But I'll test regardless!

bethp1 · 01/03/2016 21:36

Hey mimi, how's it going? Any news? So I couldn't have my bloods done on Monday as no af. Am on day 34 and still no sign, have been 28-30 days since coming off pill. Did a test on Sat and bfn. Not sure what's going on this month at all!! Off to Dr on thu, see what he says, probably stress related :-(

Mimilicious013 · 28/02/2016 14:53

Loki17 · 26/02/2016 20:40

Yep tested and BFN. Downloaded the fertility friend app and I'm putted everything and it seems I'm actually only 11 dpo so I really started testing ridiculously early. Either way, BFN tomorrow means I'm out as af is die Sunday so ill just wait for af if tomorrow's test is negative. Got all the signs for af so I'm sure it will be negative. So sure I'm drinking wine tonight.
