Guys I'm on CD8. Going by last month, I won't get a +opk till CD27. Is there anything I can take to raise my progesterone in the meantime?

I guess I'm too late for soy isoflavones. ......

Had positive OPK yesterday on CD14, negative today so waiting for temp to confirm ovulation. If it's today then I'll be due on 1st jan! Will be testing 2nd assuming AF doesn't get me before then - can't stand BFN!

AF due 31st Dec but not sure when I'll test this cycle. Will order some cheapies now in case I feel the need to test early - wasted two FRER last time Might not test on New Year as it could be a bit depressing if it's a BFN...

AF due 31st Dec so I'll probs test 1st Jan. Last month I tested the day AF was due and she greeted me mid test. It was V depressing! So I'm waiting until I'm late this time.

minilop I think I might be one of the first to test. Due Jan 2nd but I'm not very patient 😀 So I'll probably test New Year's Eve. Ah who am I kidding I'll probably start testing from the 29th at 10dpo

CD18 today but no sign of ov on IC sticks. Not sure if I should miss out this month but next AF is due Jan 1st.

I think I'll be around the 4th Jab. EWCM started yesterday but no positive OPK yet...

My very good friend's sister told me that friend was pregnant before she did. Then I had to act surprised when friend told me. I felt awful about it and cross with her sister for telling me! Why do people have to do that?!
I'm now CD8 I think, AF all done, will start testing with cheapy OPKs on Monday. Who is next/first to POAS in Jan? Anyone testing on New Year's Day?

Urgh that sounds annoying Curly. Some people just like to be the first to know the 'gossip' don't they? I am always really careful about being sensitive to people - you've no idea how long they've been trying or what they've been through. I never ask.

We must have the same friend mama! I have also been grilled asked repeatedly about when I'll try for DC2. It's been going on for two years now. She guessed when I was pregnant recently, then put two and two together about the MC but was still really intrusive, wanting to know why I was off work etc when I clearly didn't want to talk about it. It's really put me off her actually.

Try not to be disheartened Anna. I've always had a short LP and my first pregnancy was fine. Been a bit more tricky this time but I put that down to my age (also ancient) and just bad luck. I find Vit B6 helps lengthen it, might be worth a try?

Oh anna. I know people are generally just well meaning and interested but it's uncomfortable to be asked isn't it? It's a bit different but I have one rather nosy competitive friend who was desperate to reveal my first pregnancy to the world before anyone else knew (she was just guessing but was right). She'll be given a wide berth next time if there is one to avoid awkward questions I don't want to answer.

Today someone was bugging me about when we were gonna try for #2, gotta give DS a little brotner or sister etc etc.

So I found myself saying that it might not be that easy actually, and I was being referred and that it might be that DS is an only child. Then she started backtracking like mad and we heartily agreed that being an only child was no big deal etc etc.

Christ it all upset me. I was very shaken afterwards. I tnink its cos its the first time I'd verbalised the chance that it might not all come good.

Very hard to gear myself up to TTC this month tbh. I will just cos I've got OPKs left over and I'm a practical sort. But its so disheartening when you know there's little point.

Morning all. Dh got home yesterday afternoon. Still not had a positive opk so I'm over the moon we get to have a proper shot! He's still jet lagged so I got woken up at 3.30am with him whispering 'do you wanna make a baby' to the Frozen tune 😄

guess I bought some from Amazon but when they arrived they were the advanced ones. They can with a sticker on saying you can use the advanced sticks in the old monitor and I since checked on the CB site and it says this there too. Going to give them a try this month!

Hello to those joining. Celen sorry you had such a tough year, fingers crossed 2016 is better for you.

I bought some CBFM sticks from Amazon but don't recommend them as they came with a short expiry, so I've stuck with Boots. Might start the SMEP today. Only CD8 but want to get going!

Sorry to see you joining us Celen - hopefully January is the month. A couple of people have mentioned that they are using the old style CBFM - I'm sure I have one of these kicking around somewhere but when I researched the pee sticks I couldn't find any reasonably priced. Anyone have any tips where to buy them please? CD12 for me and a nearly positive OPK woohoo!

Can I please mark my place too? We are TTC #1 and this is cycle number 3. I'm 27.

Came off the pill in Sept after about 10 years and feeling like my body is a bit all over the place at the mo. Last two af's lasting only about 2-3 days however I had about 5 days of spotting prior to it arriving. Tried OPKs last cycle and got a smiley on day 18 so I presume that's good news that I'm ovulating. Cycles are generally lasting 32/33 days.

Fingers crossed for lots of January BFPs! I'm on CD6 at the moment so a while to wait
