Did an IC this morning - bfn. Was getting EWCM about an hour ago so thought I'd do an opk - strong positive, CD28!!! Better late than never, hey?! DH will be pleased, he thought all the DTD was done for this month Wink

mynameiscalypso · 07/01/2016 10:21

Not even a hint of a line on a FRER this morning and 13 DPO. AF cramps are getting worse too so think I'm probably out for Jan. Good luck to all those POAS and Thanks for curly.

Annarose2014 · 07/01/2016 08:46

CD27 & bfn, so I'm suspecting I'm out this month and I didn't ovulate this month either.

However it ain't over till it's over and I've a referral in, and most importantly I've a toddler singing tunelessly to himself in the kitchen right this minute so I'm counting my blessings this morning.

GinandJazzHands · 07/01/2016 00:23

Hi ladies just checking in. Sorry to hear about all the BFNs at the moment - keeping fingers crossed that many of you will see a BFP soon! 13dpo (it's just after midnight so I'm counting itSmile) here and trying to DTD as often as we can muster waiting to OV. Thinking of going onto the OV sticks twice a day. Looking forward to the possibility of a squinter pic tomorrow mynameis! And curly you are in no way cluttering the thread, let us know how you are getting on Flowers. Sorry the bitch is with you nutty and fx for Feb! X

MiniLop · 06/01/2016 22:38

Hi all. Just checking in. CD27 today and BFN. No idea what DPO as I'm not even sure I did ov! Will test again in a couple of days probably tomorrow if AF doesn't turn up first!

KateMossIsMyQueen · 06/01/2016 21:39

Thanks Anna I know even when it's bold it means it's still a few days away. Back to the patient step!

Rememberallball · 06/01/2016 21:32

Evening all.

CD24 and 13dpo. One bfn 2 days ago but today had on and off niggly pains in my side on and off today so don't know what to think!!

Annarose2014 · 06/01/2016 21:26

A faint line = negative & doesn't mean ovulation is near, sorry. It has to be dark as priests socks!

KateMossIsMyQueen · 06/01/2016 21:07

Pain in my right side started today, only CD6 but just got a faint line on the IC ovulation test i bought thousands on Amazon. Surely way too early?! DH is home tomorrow till Sunday, not sure whether to warn him in advance that I'm jumping him as soon as he gets in...

Curlywurly4 · 06/01/2016 20:08

Thanks again everyone for thinking of me, i nice to feel loved SmileI feel a bit bad cluttering up this thread with my woes.

Good luck to those POAS soon, fingers crossed for those BFP! Commiseration for those that are out this month. Hope Feb is 'the' month it happens.

All ok here, actually feeling a bit better today, felt like the world ending yesterday, not helped by a crappy day at work.

It's all a bit ongoing still. EPU rang to say my bloods this morning showed HCG has almost tripled. Progesterone is too low though and womb lining line obv gone as I've had my period, so they are thinking ectopic again.

Scan rebooked for Monday when I'll be 4+5 and hopefully they can see something. Fingers crossed nothing major happens between now and then!

mynameiscalypso · 06/01/2016 20:04

Toadierocks, I actually threw the test away deep in our communal rubbish bins so I didn't spend all evening looking at it because I have no self-control...If I get another squinter tomorrow, I promise I'll share and thanks for the FX!

Nutty, sorry for your AF but I think having a sneaky lunchtime drink is the best way to cope. FX that next month is your month!

Sodasoda · 06/01/2016 20:03

Thanks nutty. I'm doing ok. Slightly terrified and can't believe it's real yet! No scan dates or anything - all that will be ages away - I'm not even 5 weeks yet. Time is going sooooo slowly. Got docs appointment on Monday.

Still stalking the thread waiting for everyone's BFPs!

toadierocks · 06/01/2016 19:58

And of course please join this sad little POAS party name - I think we've "met" before haven't we? Your name seems very familiar.

Celen · 06/01/2016 18:35

Thanks Soda, I know the ics are quite hard to read in very early pregnancy (previous experience) but I've followed them up with FRERS in the same pee so I know I've definitely got bfns so far Sad

But I do like the solidarity in the craziness so for that Grin

Sodasoda · 06/01/2016 18:14

Hi everyone,

curly - thinking of you today Flowers

Sorry for AF nutty

Just thought I'd put my two pence in about those cheapie tests. I've always used them for Ov and been fine but haven't found them to be as sensitive as they claim for pregnancy testing - I got my positive on Sunday with FMU on a FRER and it came up straight away - 14dpo (I think). Later in the day I took another FRER (bfp) and IC (bfn). On 16dpo I took a digital - BFP with FMU - and this says it's only 25ml sensitive. I took another IC and it was such a squinter that if I was only testing using that I would have thrown it away and chalked it up as bfn. It's only today - 17dpo - that I got what I'd actually call a BFP with FMU using an IC.

And I know that I've clearly just outed myself as a crazy by admitting to all these tests Blush Grin

Anyway, just wanted to say beware! And if you're just using IC at 8dpo celen then really don't worry - i think it would be way too early for them to show anything!

mynameiscalypso · 06/01/2016 18:11

Can I join your POAS party Celen? I got a BFN on Sat which would have been 8 DPO so way too early. Did another test this afternoon (12 DPO) although not a very sensitive one and it was probably a BFN but if you tilt your head in a certain way and hold the test in a certain way and stand in the light, it could be a squinter but probably just wishful thinking. I've been having AF like cramps since Sunday so can't help feeling it will be turning up soon but will probably be POAS tomorrow morning too just in case!

Celen · 06/01/2016 18:04

Yes toadie using the ics but also have foolishly sacrificed 2 FRERS as well for my POAS party for one!

Grin Kate and great you've got some sort of medical cover at work, that must be handy!

KateMossIsMyQueen · 06/01/2016 17:18

Really sorry to hear that curly and I hope the referral can bring you some answers.

No news from me, only CD6. Had a docs appointment today and I'm being referred for a scan of my ovaries as they think i have a sneaky cyst on my left one. I was quietly smug about a little bit of ovulation pain saving me needing to rely on OPK, but each month is getting worse and is requiring cocodamol at the moment which is definitely not normal! Did not expect her to need to pop a couple of lubed fingers in my fanjo at 8:30am, but DH is away this week so I guess I'll take whatever I can get... She couldn't feel anything which means they're probably absurdly small, but at least I'm getting my money's worth out of the private medical I get from work!

toadierocks · 06/01/2016 17:17

nutty just remembered it's called Clomid - I know from some of the previous buses that I was on that a few of the ladies were on it - thinks it mainly for hormonal imbalance or PCOS tho so not sure if its applicable

toadierocks · 06/01/2016 17:12

Ah nutty sorry for AF turning up! That sucks, hopefully next month will be the one for you, what Anna said though about OPK is a good start as it will help work out your LP and any charting and or notes that you can take to the GP always is helpful. my cycle is about 32 days when it regulates. I think there is something that can make you ovulate but that's to do with low or no progesterone but it sounds to me like you do ovulate on a regular (albeit long) basis so maybe the GP can sort out something else of your cycle length. In my basic knowledge of it, anything up to a 37 day cycle can be considered ''normal'' Hmm but it advises to see a GP if its over that, its defo worth a little chat with them to see if there's anything they can do to help Flowers

English remember that ovulation occours 24-48 hours after a positive OPK, so maybe you're a few days behind?? FX for you this month

curly how are you today my lovely?

mimi GL with the Ov Grin may the force be with you this month

celen hehe you are having a POAS party!!! so hoping you get your BFP! are you using internet cheapy tests? what sensitivity are they?

Anna good work on the referral/waiting list, hopefully you'll get a BFP soon and you won't need them after all
