Congrats Annarose! Clearly a line there.

Not much to report here but I did get some EWCM today so I wonder if I'm ovulating? I don't use OPKs so that's my best clue to when I ovulate!

Celen · 09/01/2016 20:45

Ah yes I really think I should take the above advice kitty!! I've gone a bit nuts this month Blush

Congrats Annarose!! Well done you Smile

kittyvet · 09/01/2016 20:36

My mistake celen - you are right-think I got confused but if you interested...the following from the impatient woman's guide to getting pregnant:
The average implantation time in the North Carolina study—detected by lab tests 100 times more sensitive than home tests—was 9 DPO. It takes two or three days after implantation for the embryo to make enough HCG (human chorionic gonadotropin, the pregnancy hormone) for even a very sensitive home pregnancy test to work. So that means the majority of women won’t get a positive until 11 DPO. Only 24percent of embryos implant before 8 DPO and thus might test positive by 10 DPO. And 13 percent of pregnancies don’t even show up on the supersensitive lab tests until 11 DPO or later, so they wouldn’t trip a home test until 13 DPO at the earliest. So to balance the use of expensive pregnancy tests with your own impatience, my advice is to start testing 10 days after you ovulate or 11 if you want to be more certain, preferably using first morning pee.

Annarose2014 · 09/01/2016 19:54

I'm CD28 and I got a positive opk on CD17. So are we saying 10dpo?

Annarose2014 · 09/01/2016 19:53

Wellllll......

I conceived DS the minute I got my Mirena out. I was very smug thinking about how fertile I must be - now I know it was the progesterone from the Mirena still fizzing through my uterus. I'd never have conceived him "naturally".

No joy TTC #2. Had bloods done - turns out my natural progesterone was too low to ovulate. GP referred me to fertility clinic. All quite upsetting as I'm soon turning 41 so tick tock tick tock.

Anyway in the meantime I Googled ways to naturally increase progesterone cos I couldnt just sit around waiting for an appt. Have been guzzling 100mg VitB6 (increases prog) & 250mg Magnesium (decreases oestragen).

Have also been opk-ing like a mad woman to catch the right window.

And it seems to have worked!

Too early to count chickens though. Please God its a sticky bean.

toadierocks · 09/01/2016 19:51

Congratulations Annarose !!!!!! How many DPO are you again?

So pleased for you and that this bus has another BFP xx

firstgo1984 · 09/01/2016 19:25

Congrats anna what was your TTC story?

Annarose2014 · 09/01/2016 19:22

Pregnancy test!

Bugmuncher · 09/01/2016 19:18

anna is that an OPK or a preg test?

Annarose2014 · 09/01/2016 19:12

Well this is a bit embarressing after my pity party yesterday.......

Its a squinter in the pic, but in real life its faint but THERE!

Celen · 09/01/2016 12:33

kittyvet why do you say 6 days after implantation? I'd read 2-3 days afterwards?

Rememberallball · 09/01/2016 10:32

So, cd 27 today. Yesterday's spotting was literally nothing worth writing home about - dark as if start of af but just a couple of marks on a pad; nothing for probably 20 hours now and no other af symptoms. Not sure when/if I ov'd this month as temping has been sporadic and we decided not to OPK as it was just getting my hopes up. Had ewcm around Christmas Day for 3-4 days so could be 14-15dpo making this a bit late for ib - and wouldn't that appear more bright red/fresh bleeding than dark/old blood?

#confused by my body.com!!

somethingfromnothing · 09/01/2016 09:35

Hello lovely ladies can I join?

I finally got a positive opk on cd23. I've been having long cycles since an ectopic pregnancy late in the summer. curly I hope you are doing okay, my ectopic was found early at 5 weeks and I didn't require treatment just monitoring whilst HCG returned to 0. It was still an awful experience though.

Keep turning into a crazy person during the 2ww so joining for some moral support

Celen · 09/01/2016 09:20

Hey Lucinda

Lucinda15 · 09/01/2016 08:38

Can I hop on this bus? Bit late coming to the party but as AF approaching (12th Jan) I need some company to keep me sane!! 11dpo and second BFN today. Feeling a bit miserable and getting ready to hop on Feb bus immienently. No symptoms to swing it either way - have had mild cramping on and off since 7dpo and was hoping implantation cramps, but have been fooled before. Major pmt at 9dpo and was hoping pregnancy hormones but clinging on to straws.

Age: 33
TTC: #2
Trying for 11 months, 2mc along the way (July 15 and Nov 15)
Cycle day 28 - 11dpo

kittyvet · 09/01/2016 08:01

If you have got implantation bleeding then the soonest you will get a BFP is 6d post-implantation. Fingers crossed!

Celen · 09/01/2016 07:33

It's definitely possible at 11dpo Expat and I had more overnight - but it's yet another BFN for me this morning Angry

I best go reserve my spot on the Feb bus I guess, things are not looking hopeful Hmm

Anyone else POAS today?!! We really do need some better luck on this bus!

EnglishExpatUSA · 08/01/2016 21:05

toadie and celen right behind you with the wine! It's then only thing improving my mood right now!

Weirdly celen I have also just had the palest pink tinted cm today. No AF cramps whatsoever, googled it and it does sound exactly like implantation bleeding. Probably wishful thinking. Is that even possible at 11dpo?

Even if it is AF I'm quite excited to know something, anything is happening down there now I've stopped bf (23 days ago, not that I'm counting).

firstgo1984 · 08/01/2016 20:49

I now use CB to confirm.

toadierocks · 08/01/2016 20:43

ah firstgo imo CB are rubbish, especially the digital OKP and pregnancy tests, so many people get worried over nothing with the pregnancy ones and I've never had a OPK that works once, they always jam and some silly smiley face gets stuck on there until the battery runs out...... grrrr

firstgo1984 · 08/01/2016 20:37

toadie yes but not before I had spent a fortune on CB!

toadierocks · 08/01/2016 20:30

firstgo did you get them off amazon? ah crazy cycles are tough, do you use an app to help track them as well? It took me ages to regulate again after my last MMC, in the end I went back on the pill for 3 months just to try and regulate a bit but even when I settle I'm on a 31-32 day cycle with a very late ovulation, I use period tracker to help tho

firstgo1984 · 08/01/2016 20:21

toadie I had to order 100 opks with my crazy cycles!
