Hi all!
Me and hubby are 23, I've been off the pill since we've been married so coming up 2 years and we've been TTC for a little less than a year. I tend to go by my cm for ovulation as I have a 33day cycle, we do have regular sex through the out month too. I'm also taking folic acid. It's really starting to get to me that it's taking so long, everyone my age seems to have first time luck or getting pregnant unplanned.
Anyone have and advice or stories? I'd love to hear!!

Now I have spotting - I'm so confused! I'm starting to think maybe it's not happening this month :(. If that's the case I wish AF would hurry up and get it over with!
Our wedding day in Feb was actually sunny, but I agree it normally is winter still! My DH has our wedding date as one of his passwords for something so he has no excuse to forget it! Try it with your DH - "nope you can't use your PayPal/online banking until you remember our anniversary date"!! Haha
Oohh let me know how the trial goes tonight, I'm presuming you'll be using it tonight?!
And yep I agree, just because others think we're 'young' doesn't mean we can't bring a little life into the world and raise them up to be a wonderful and polite child.

I always think it's funny, my 56 year old boss's boss has a better social life than me, I'm a proper home bod - and yet somehow everyone thinks I still have 'so much living to do before I settle down and have a child'! I am settled and I'd rather be sat on my bum in front of the telly than getting drunk in a pub!

Bailey I think it's a sign to make you wait just a little longer! Must have been frustrating though!
I agree with you and Rainbow! People treat us like we're 10, people don't expect people like us to be responsible and know what we want, they just expect us to make 'mistakes'
I think February is still winter ha! Especially in this country! I was all set for a Christmas wedding but my husband wanted to get married the date we got engaged (I think so he didn't have to remember so many dates haa!!!)

Preseed arrived this morning! Shits just got real!!

Well I'm pretty miffed, it's still 4 days too early but I decided to do a test with FMU this morning just to see (I can't explain why but I feel different this month). Did what I needed to do and absolutely nothing came up, no control line or anything! I've done enough tests previously to know what to do so this must've been a dud - arggghhhh!!! I'm thinking its a sign that I shouldn't test yet so I suppose I'll wait it out :(!

Welcome Rainbow! I agree with the age thing, I haven't been to the doctors (takes too long to get an appointment and I haven't been trying that long) but everybody thinks I'm too young to have kids. I'm married, with a stable and well paid job, a mortgage and a husband who I love - what the f**k does age have to do with it?!
But I'm sorry I can't shed any light to why your cycles are messed up. I'm going to start temping next month too if I don't get anywhere this cycle

Queen - any sign of anything yet?

Blooming - I would've loved a winter wedding but there wasn't any dates and I just wanted to get married! So February is close enough haha!! Has your preseed arrived?

Hi ladies,
I'm 24 and my husband and I have been trying to conceive for 2years, we have had two miscarriages. Neither of us had any vast medical history which could cause this and he's on well man, I'm on pregnacare.

I know exactly what you all mean with regard to Drs and their on look to us younger ladies trying to conceive. I attended my GPs the other day and explained i was 5 days late (now 7, usually like clockwork) and only brown spotting - minimal, the GP simply said you're very young and its very early test again in 7 days. I feel this is fair enough, but with my previous gynae history more should be investigated. I don't feel age comes into it, a young person can have worse health than an older person, its a matter of lifestyle and genetics. The fact that he said I was young just makes me feel like 'lets wait 10 years, then see...'

I've now bought a tympanic thermometer, when AF returns I will be monitoring my cycle closer rather than using my Ovia app - which also has no idea what is going on at the moment either.

Sorry if this seems like a rant ladies, I look forward to hearing more from your journeys x

It was lovely and we were very lucky! I must admit I'm such a winter baby, I'd love a Christmassy snowy wedding!

I agree Bailey, it's so exciting Haaa!
It's all so exciting! Remember the wait might be worth it!!!

Ooohhh queen this could be the month! What symptoms are you having? Have you taken a test?
I'm getting so excited for you and I've never even met you, isn't the Internet a strange thing?! Hahaha
I have 5 more days before I can test :( why does time drag when you're waiting on something?!!!?

queenoftheworld93 · 02/12/2015 06:58

Rosey your wedding sounds lovely! Ours will be freezing so jealous that it was lovely and warm at yours. DP is hoping for snow Xmas Shock

16dpo, still no AF.

BloomingR0sey · 01/12/2015 11:16

Haha! No he wasn't! He's not the best at cooking bless him!

bailey23 · 01/12/2015 07:39

Aww a secret garden sounds lovely, and you can't beat a good BBQ! But please tell me your DH wasn't doing the BBQ in his wedding suit?! Haha
Queen I'll keep my fingers crossed for you! How are you feeling?

BloomingR0sey · 30/11/2015 21:32

Queen, you're not out until AF comes!

OP posts:
BloomingR0sey · 30/11/2015 21:31

Awh! How sweet, bless him!
I know :D I hope the preseed comes in time!! Well done to you trying to distract yourself a little!
I got married last June and had a small wedding outdoors at a secret garden kind of thing then had a BBQ! And fell on the hottest day of the year! My mum was quite fussy with people coming and my dress now I wish I stood my ground and had less people and a less fussy dress. My husband was the same as yours fumbling with the ring ha!

OP posts:
queenoftheworld93 · 30/11/2015 21:27

Ugh tell me about it so hard not to SS! I am currently late for AF but no BFP so it's very frustrating!

bailey23 · 30/11/2015 21:13

My DH is totally unromantic, he's a softy with me but he hates everybody watching him etc so we just went for something really small and casual (but he still shook like a leaf saying the vows, then went to put the ring on the wrong hand!)
Aww I bet you can't wait for next Christmas now then! Hopefully with a little one there too.
Plenty of 'symptoms' but I don't know if they're the right kind, I don't want it to be my mind just playing tricks on me so trying not to get my hopes up too much! Are you in the TWW wait too queen?
And blooming, at least it's time to go go go again!! And this time you can crack the preseed out too Wink! What kind of wedding did you have?

BloomingR0sey · 30/11/2015 20:58

Bailey I wish I went for that kind of wedding! So sweet about asking Santa! I love a big Christmas so I hope you get your pressie ;)
Queen, it's hard not to fall in love with lots of weddingy things ha!
Are you both in your tww? I've just come off AF!

OP posts:
queenoftheworld93 · 30/11/2015 20:51

Aww that sounds lovely! I would have been more than happy with that but DP is a romantic and after looking round venues I fell in love too! Only having 40 guests for the ceremony so small-ish. Getting married just after Christmas so it will be really nice :) almost a year to go!

How is the tww going? Any symptoms? Grin

bailey23 · 30/11/2015 20:18

So then, to take my mind off symptom spotting crazy stuff, tell me all about your wedding planning queen ... What's the dress like, colour scheme, big/small guest list, family dramas etc....?
When we got married, we decided the day itself didn't really matter, just the outcome - so I paid £70 for my dress from Coast, didn't have any bridesmaids or anything and just got married at the registry office, then went for an Indian with our 25ish guests! Then went home to get changed into jeans and went to the pub and to a club, before getting a pizza from the kebab shop on the way home ... Perfect for us haha!!

BloomingR0sey · 30/11/2015 11:11

Oh how exciting! At least if you have something super exciting to look forward to if it doesn't happen for you this time! Don't give up hope you've still got another month!
I thought it would have been easier too! But good things come to those who wait!

OP posts:
queenoftheworld93 · 30/11/2015 07:55

Ahhh that is very sweet. I hope you both get it!

Goodness me, gave birth a month before? That's what I'm trying to avoid. Dress fittings would have been difficult enough if I got pregnant now, can't imagine that close to the wedding!

bailey23 · 30/11/2015 07:31

And queenoftheworld ... Me and DH both put our hands on my belly, closed our eyes and wished for a positive pregnancy test before Christmas that resulted in a healthy baby (so Santa doesn't think he can give me a positive HPT and no baby!). Very cheesy I know but I'm really hoping Santa heard me, I've been a good girl haha!!

bailey23 · 30/11/2015 07:29

I am in the two week wait, it's looking promising but in only 1 week in! So I could just be imagining it all because I want it to happen! Where abouts are you at in the cycle blooming?
My hairdresser was going to get married in July last year, she came off her pill before Christmas thinking she'd let her body get back to normal before the wedding and then they could start trying .... The lucky cow got pregnant the first month so had to cancel her wedding! She didn't have a clue and spent new year getting absolutely sloshed but she now has a little 1 year old!
Then there's someone else who gave birth one week before she got married (by elected C-Section!) because she wasn't going to cancel her wedding ... I don't know how she got her dress fitted!

queenoftheworld93 · 29/11/2015 22:44

Hi Bailey :) yes it would be lovely if we all got our BFPs very soon! I might write a letter to Santa Wink

queenoftheworld93 · 29/11/2015 22:44

We started straight away with OPKs, pre-seed and temping because we only have a few months to try... Getting married at the end of 2016 so if i don't get pregnant by the new year, we're going to postpone ttc until after the wedding. Have to admit I was hoping to conceive immediately with us being young and healthy and using all these 'extras' but am at end of tww for cycle 2 and can tell AF is on her way. Only one cycle left :(

Preseed is great! Try not to be intimidated by the applicators though, they're not as bad as they look.

BloomingR0sey · 29/11/2015 21:01

I know ha! Wishful thinking saying we'd wait for the new year!
Oh god! Exciting(not that you're feeling crappy) hope these are all baby signs!! Are you in the 2week wait?

OP posts:
bailey23 · 29/11/2015 20:59

Sorry, forgot to add hi queenoftheworld! Fingers crossed we all get lucky (excuse the pun) with our trying soon! We may be 'young' but that doesn't mean it's easy, unfortunately!

bailey23 · 29/11/2015 20:56

Yeah you know you'll be lucky to make it to the 1st of Dec before you use it! You'll have to let me know what it's like and how you get on!
Well I'm absolutely bushed this weekend, I can't stop crying (I cried at last nights X factor when Louisa said she wasn't feeling well Confused), I'm peeing every two mins, I'm knackered and I feel like utter shit ... But still hoping these things are all a good sign!
