Agree, it's really hard, harder than I thought I would be. I am have having a drink and coffee, not loads but in moderation until I know I'm upduffed.

We DTD on CD 10, 11, 13, 14, 15 so I am really hoping we caught when I ovulated but I have no idea. This is such a learning curve!

I was doing really well but I just feel really stressed today. Whether it's positive or negative, that's fine. I just don't want to be in limbo, fretting about whether I can have a can of Diet Coke AND a coffee... Work Christmas party tomorrow too, which is stressing me out. Won't be able to enjoy a drink in case I am pregnant and don't want to give the game away either. Last week's party was easy as there were loads of us and easy just to have a glass or two but it's just my team tomorrow so a bit harder.

Been distracting myself thinking of baby names and now watching 18 Kids and Counting.

No tips from me Leonie. I still have 20 days to go and it's already driving me crazy!

9 days until Ovia tells me that I can test... Any tips for surviving the wait without going crazy?!?! This is a lot harder than I thought it would be.

pink no idea. Mine just said it was best to do in the afternoon. I took mine twice a day once at about 9am and once between 12 and 2pm.

Shelb oh no, I hope not! Could it be implantation pains? Although that would be quite early. I don't think implantation should happen for another 4 or 5 days if you're on the same schedule as me but maybe you have an impatient egg?

Funny you should say that though as I've been having small cramps all day. Not full blown curl up pains just sort of a dull ache now and again and a few uncomfortable twinges... I thought it was something I ate

Ni I totally agree about sharing symptom spotting and also about having a real AF. I haven't had any symptoms yet but will be keeping them to myself when I do (and sharing on here obviously!). I just don't think OH would be convinced by any symptoms until there is a BFP pregnancy test!

I have a potentially daft OPK question. The leaflet on mine suggests you should do the OPK before 8pm. Does anyone know why that is? It's our Christmas party tomorrow night and I want to test but won't be home before 8pm!

It's a difficult one Shelb.. I tell him some stuff...especially fertility signs, but I think it's just all so alien to him that he doesn't really hear it if you know what I mean. I think until there's a BFP it's all too distant and abstract for him...so I share my symptom spotting and craziness on here instead! Thank God for mumsnet!

Do you know the weirdest thing about having natural AF again after so long on the pill...it kinda feels good..weirdo like I can feel my body is alive and working , rather than rather sedate and somewhat numb on the pill. I can feel my uterus working again! Anyone else know what I mean?!

Yeah I nearly just messaged mine with 'oohh guess what I'm feeling' but thought no, get a hold of yourself woman.

If I get any bleeding or real signs of implantation over the next week then I'll get excited, until then I'm putting everything down to progesterone.

Shelb the cm situation sounds promising as you're supposed to get loads of it worked. I've got none which is why I'm not getting too excited about my other imagined symptoms.

I don't tell OH about my symptom spotting. He'd just tell me to wait and see anyway. He's not really into the over sharing on the ttc front lol
I did tell him about the opk but he wasn't really interested and I've spoken to him about my suspected chemical pregnancy last month. He was interested in the science behind it but not really fussed about it.
I think it's pretty difficult for men to understand the crazy women go through when ttc as they haven't really got anything to compare against.

It is difficult to act normal when your heads full of ovulation and wondering if that twinge in your belly is a sign.

shelbTa - I do talk to my OH about symptoms but to be honest, after the last time I was 'sure' I was pg and turned out not to be, I feel like I'm just making it up... do you know what I mean?! Its hard not to talk about it all the time when its constantly on your mind though right?

Hello! I'm new! So glad to have found this - I'm going mad symptom spotting and its such a relief to know I'm not alone - how can the tww be sooooo long?!

This my third cycle ttc and AF due this weekend, resisting early testing but so many symptoms (real or imagined?!) its tough not to. Sore boobs (mostly the right one?!) and lumpy nipples, cramps PO and yesterday I got a rash on my forearm, which I have decided is definitely a sign?! (almost certainly unrelated...!) Oh lordy. Wishing I didn't have a day off work today as its too much time to go crazy and over think things!

Do you guys share your symptom spotting with your OHs? Or do you keep confined to on here? Just wondering...

Hmm.....they do all sound like possibles.

I don't feel exhausted in the slightest, energised if anything. I've got - sore boobs and nips, lots of school glue cm vomit, zero appetite, period pains, bit bloated....which as I've read can all be due to the progesterone spike.

Ni sorry The witch got you but every cloud has a silver lining. Like you say, hopefully you'll now have a chance next month.

Shelb feeling exhausted, bloated, constipated aren't you glad you asked and generally a bit weird.

Still going to drink at the party tonight but I might take it a bit easy says the woman who's hammered after two pints!

How are you doing with the symptoms today?

Me too runner! It's good to be able go crazy on here, although deep down I know it's prob only due to the natural estrogen and progesterone rise after ovulation.
