We weren't supposed to start till January! But we did!
Join us as we ttc #1 after pill/contraception etc.

We've got a boat, it makes frequent stops for wine, pissy sticks, wool, slings, cake and all manner of shit we don't need yet but we buy anyway!

Lol Stark one of my friends describes convincing a man to do something important as coaxing a skittish woodland creature.

StarkyTheDirewolf · 18/11/2015 22:22

I'm not testing at all until we actually and seriously start, the odd go at it we have had at unprotected are unlikely to have resulted in a baby, and if I start obsessing more than i am now, I'll have the nursery decorated by Christmas before we're even pregnant Grin we're both still getting used to the idea I think at the minute as far as Dh is concerned anyway but I know I've got to ease him into the idea, he's a slow burning flame and quite sensitive despite the masculine appearance so I don't want to freak him out too soon, basically I'm equating my Dh to catching a skittish horse!

stark I reckon the way forward is to wait until AF is actually late before testing. Less stress that way!

Ooh 30 for £5! You could easily justify one each day Grin

Runner05 · 18/11/2015 21:43

You can do it Stark you wear that man down Wink

Have just invested in 30 pissy sticks for £5. I have a problem but I knew I was an obsessive control freak, I've learned to manage my problem lol

StarkyTheDirewolf · 18/11/2015 21:16

I'm quite proud as I haven't actually used one yet! However, I haven't had much reason too, Dh is back and forth, I reckon I'll have him cracked by Christmas though Grin one of his mates has just had a baby girl so I'm making them a sort of little sleep sack, and he's been awww-in at it!

Hey, you're talking to the queen obsession, anyone kept count of how many pissy sticks I've used? Blush

Newmrs22 · 18/11/2015 21:00

true. I need to chill out a bit. I didn't expect a negative to feel so bad. This chat has helped though. Thanks

StarkyTheDirewolf · 18/11/2015 20:56

I boaked at funny smells the other day, Dh goes "ooh is it a baby direwolf howling?" ...He's dead now. Grin I'm clearly having sympathy symptoms for those in the running this month!

OP posts:
Runner05 · 18/11/2015 20:51

It does depend, you do hear about people not getting a positive until well after AF is due. Don't count yourself out you, you may well have ovulated later than you thought Smile

Newmrs22 · 18/11/2015 20:45

Yes I feel completely mental. Fingers crossed for you Runner! The skittle tits and smells are promising!

I know I'm not out until AF arrives, but I think 2 days before it's due I'd be producing some hormone if I was pregnant and I used a sensitive test, so now assuming I'm not. Want AF to come on time now so I can get started again next cycle!

Runner05 · 18/11/2015 20:39

New I know what you mean. I'm due on Sunday, I still have skittle tits and walking around Tesco I really was struggling with the smells. It makes you feel as if you're going mental.

Runner05 · 18/11/2015 20:32

Berggamot I'm crossing my fingers for the spotting to bugger off.

Purple I'm scoffing chocolate now.

Bloody hell Stark!!! I used to do cardio and weights about 4 times a week but I like food to much to have ever been fit Confused

Newmrs22 · 18/11/2015 20:28

Thanks Runner. Due on Friday I think. Hard to know for sure first month off pill I guess. Always knew it was unlikely this month but it's funny how you start to convince yourself! I'd decided I felt dizzy. Maybe imagining it!

I should do some exercise, but chocolate and apprentice seems more appealing Grin

StarkyTheDirewolf · 18/11/2015 20:20

Dh goes to the gym 5 times a week, he's a bodybuilder/weight trainer and he boxes so it's his happy place. I used to train 4 times a week with him and I worked as a podium dancer up until last January so I was quite fit. I might go back to the gym, I enjoy weight training but I hate with the fire of a thousand suns cardio! I've really got to be in the right mood to do any cardio other than swimming or dtd Grin

All this talk of exercise is making me want to eat chocolate lol. I like to think that the extra bedroom antics add to our exercise ladies hehe

BergamotMouse · 18/11/2015 20:14

Glad you've been signed off for another 4 weeks runner. Lock those FRER in a cupboard now! Before you're tempted.

I took myself out for a (rather slow) run when I got in from work which I'm very proud of. I used to run so much, 25 miles a week, but work always seems to get in the way. Thought I'd try take it back up before I get sick.

I'm still spotting a tiny bit so just hope it's going to stick in there. Trying not to go over the top with thinking ahead.

DH is now on antibiotics for a bladder infection (and feeling very sorry for himself). He blames all the sex Blush.

Runner05 · 18/11/2015 20:04

Lol, I'm not quite that bad Stark I jump on the runner about twice a week but it's not enough. Dr's orders I need to exercise every day Shock

StarkyTheDirewolf · 18/11/2015 19:59

runner I went as far as taking our running machine to live in my dm garage as it was just sat there, constantly inactive, judging me. Dh wants it back now though, the health concious basted. Grin

Welcome Ad
**
Amazon have frer tests 2 for £6.50 and they are available on prime so next day delivery!

I am keeping my fingers crossed for your Monday test runner.

Runner05 · 18/11/2015 19:50

Forgot to say, sorry for the BFN New. When are you actually due?

Runner05 · 18/11/2015 19:49

Hi Ad Grin

Yeh, I'm relieved too, especially as my mum was really worried she would have to deal with my sis alone. I know she'll be fine when sis gets here but I'm concerned about it.

Ooo... Tesco have FRER two pack for £6.50... I resisted the urge to empty the shelf only one fell in my basket. I also bought a couple of their ultra cheap ones so that if my addiction gets too much I can pee on a £1 instead of £5 Wink
Also bought myself a lovely box of milk tray to scoff while I watch apprentice Smile must get on the treadmill tomorrow, it's not as if it isn't sat in the living room staring at me!!! Hmm no I don't really think it's staring at me, I'm stressed not completely batty...

Pinklily1 · 18/11/2015 19:28

HI ladies

Runner -so glad the doctor has signed you off. Fingers and toes crossed for the test on Monday!

Newmrs22 · 18/11/2015 18:54

Boo. BFN. Well that's depressing! I really want a glass of wine now!

Newmrs22 · 18/11/2015 18:31

I just bought a superdrug early test. Was going to wait until AF due on Friday but I just read it can be taken at any time of day, not FMU! This makes me tempted to do it now! Argh

StarkyTheDirewolf · 18/11/2015 18:27

Welcome to the baby boat admarks

runner I'm so glad the Dr visit was productive and positive. Stop over analysing tests and worrying easier said than done and enjoy your weekend, and when you test on Monday I'll have my fingers crossed for two pink lines for you Flowers it's the not knowing that's the worst!

How are we all this rainy horrid day? Dh has taken dsis to get a tattoo and then is going to the gym, I'm enjoying some peace and quiet, I might go mad and have a gin and bitter lemon later! I know how to live wild, me!
