I've got the worst period type pains today than I ever had on the pill, I must be ovulating, I have to be, either that or I'm going to get AF.

I think it's supposed to be nonsense Shelb! Although I did do it yesterday for a giggle with the other half!! I did read somewhere that if you have an inverted uterus or cervix or something it might help get the "love juice" to the right place. But apparently that's a really rare condition anyway. I have taken to lying for at least 15mins afterwards..the swimmers are supposed to be strong enough to do it themselves but I just figured it can't do any harm!

Ok this is a TMI and possibly thick question but - after you've DTD do you need to keep your legs up so the 'soldiers' have the best chance gravity-wise? Or is that bullshit. I didn't either way!

Shelb I think it needs to be darker than the control line to be positive. But it's so easy to miss the actual surge in the day that it could be!! Get on him it just in case

Shelb tmi moment, but clear, liquidy CM on CD17 and EWCM on CD19. Abdominal pain and backache was CD20. Fertile CM gone now on CD22 so I'm taking it I'm on the tww but will keep checking ovulation sticks for a few days just in case not! Seem to be on a long cycle this month too (32last time) Glad the body is signalling that hormones are at work even if the pissy stick says no ov! I've also had the sniffles around predicted ovulation time this cycle and last so hoping that's a symptom to spot ov in the future. hope there won't be any future cycles!

Hi everyone.ive done all my Black Friday shopping online to avoid the hell of shops.

I'm due to test a week on Saturday but have had no more symptoms other than that 1 day of sore nips. Boo. I've spent my On my way! item day planning my upcoming trip to Paris for my birthday (totally outing myself). If I do get a bfp next week it will be tres difficile to hide it from both sets of parents who will be with us.

How do you celebrate a birthday in Paris without drinking and eating Brie and all thinks wonderfully French??!! I'll cross that bridge if it magically appears.

Im so glad the weekend is nearly here, I just want to get in to my PJs and slob for the evening with a DVD (My OH has sports training on a Friday so doesnt get back until later).

I am not due to test until the middle of next week but do have two FR tests so may end up testing a bit earlier. I havent had any significant symptoms other than the pulling feeling and some quesiness but this could also be stress related with work as it is right now.

My head is saying this may take some time, while my heart is like please please let it happen soon.

So what CD day did you get the EWCM if you don't mind me asking? My piss sticks are showing a really faint pink line but nothing major and I'm on CD11.

Shelb speaking of those period like abdominal pains around ovulation, has anyone read at what time of the ovulation time they happen? I had them on Weds and the CM has definitely being doing what it does, but ov pissy sticks have said no all cycle long (although Ovia thinks I hit my fertility peak) so I'm wondering if the stomach pains are a sign that I ovulated? Does anyone know why and when those pains happen ?

Well, I've got period style pains but no EWCM (grosses me out writing that ewwwwww). Also got back ache. According to ovia my fertility window should start tomorrow. Obvs I'm going to do a pisser stick today, just for kicks!

I'm just contemplating whether to get out of bed or not. Yesterday really took it out of me and I'm not sure I want to risk it but I do need to go into town but doing want to hit the Black Friday rush.

Well I'm feeling thoroughly rubbish today. AF has decided to make me feel absolutely rubbish, and I feel fat and I have to spend the morning Christmas shopping with sis (in case you haven't cottoned on yet, we don't really get on) I just want to stay in bed and go back to sleep!
On a slightly more serious note, sis's presence is making you stress problems worse she's very difficult and delights in stressing me out, she actually thinks it's funny. Not what I need right now.

Too late for that Harriet - on cycle 3! (But then I jumped on this thread having already started in any case ) I literally have no idea how I'm going to survive Christmas. I will have a drink here and there I guess to avoid the raised eyebrows!

TMI alert - full on EWCM, feeling randy and ov pains. All coincides with my app. So pissy sticks (as opposed to preggo sticks) just tell you if you've actually ovulated? We're DTD every other day, so is there really a need for them? (Except to bring out the obsessive in me! Not sure that's a good thing)

Ps unexpectedly good side effect from mean doctor was my OH's reaction - he was actually excited at thought I might be pg already! If it wasn't for the thought of all the lovely baileys over xmas (and massive suspicion from family and friends) we'd probably start now! Roll on Jan.

Shelb you'll have to let us all know what you think of the ov tests. I'm hoping to do them this month as temping obviously didn't work due to my nighttime mouth breathing!!!

AF is definitely here now. I think my body started spotting when it expected me to come of the pill but if memory serves me my cycle before the pill was a little longer than the 4 week controlled cycle so that might explain the confusion. Oh well CD1 of cycle 2. Fingers crossed for a nice sticky embryo this month

Ooh bargain alert. Superdrug are doing the clearblue digital ovulation kits (10 tests so a months worth if you have a regular cycle and know when to test, unlike me!) reduced to 2.30 from about 20 quid!!

Purple - sounds painful, but maybe a positive sign??

bunch - used my second pisser today. Last nights was a def pink line at 7pm, the one today at 12.30 had no line at all. Guna try again tonight at 7 as I also drink loads of water during the day so wonder if it was diluted.
