Hi all, not been well with a chest infection so please forgive me for being awol again. I did a FR test at the weekend it was negative so will take a cheapie test later in the week when I am actually supposed to test but feel I'm out this cycle.

Sorry Shelb I don't know. It's certainly getting darker so I'd jump the OH just in case

Never mind, I hadn't switched over to ttc so it was just telling me when AF was due.

Likening the days to pregnancy test counter, maybe if I'd had that last month it would have given me the incentive not to pee on everything!!!!

Where do you find the thing on Ovia that tells you when to test?

Bunch I hear you though...Ovia is helping me to wait until it says to test. (Although to be fair I only weed on sticks last month cos my body was tripping out on having natural hormones again!! This month I have no crazy symptoms! That helps too!) Well, OK, I'm slightly bending the truth there.. It says to test on the 8th but I'm gonna do the 6th cos I wanna test on a weekend. Oh what a Christmas present it would be!!!

Shelb generally when I refer to myself symptom spotting I should swap it for "noticing normal things and imagining it means I'm pregnant". I've had the odd dizzy spell but I had that last month with no cause, lower back ache. Feeling ragey, had cramps for a day and I'm bloated but that could be just as I'm a week-10 days before AF. I had two days of sore nipples, but nothing since. I haven't been sleeping properly. Basically a whole bunch of nothing that I'm working into "symptoms". One good thing though is I'm not tempted to test until Ovia says I should.

Really bunch, hmm. What symptoms are you spotting?? Fingers crossed for you.

I'm going to opk again today to see what happens.

Shelb all OPK's I pissed on we're negative but I swear I've ovulated every month. You can miss it even if you test daily. Unless you test multiple times a day they're not reliable. Temperature is apparently a much better way to go Fabio though, not mouth eh Runner

Good luck today runner. I'd say Deffo get some cheapo internet sticks, if nothing else it's nicely reassuring that your body is doing kind of the right stuff at the right time, well I've found that to be the case anyway. Also - then I won't be the only addict!!

Finally the last day of AF here and I'm damn well determined to put some effort into getting upduffed this month. OH won't know what hit him!!!

I've got my first counselling session tomorrow. Don't know whether I'm dreading it or looking forward to it but I know my stress and anxiety levels haven't improved so I definitely need it!

Naughty is EXACTLY the word for it.

We planned on talking about thinking about ttc in February.
We're snowboarding in Italy in January.

But that's gone out the window!!! We figure even if we conceive immediately (HA!) we won't even be telling people until Feb/March. Baby's well protected in the pelvis even against my epic snowboarding fails.

And it'll probably take forever anyway!

The only times I've ever poas before are when I've been praying its negative and it's just stress... Feels weird to be living intentionally "dangerously

I'm poas Christmas Day. I informed OH that we are now trying, he advised me that he wasn't, so I told him I am trying and he's cooperating...

Yeah the stick always said no, but my body had all the signs of ovulation. I also finally went for my first acupuncture yesterday and she said to ignore the sticks. Maybe I peed at the wrong time to catch it...I dunno!

Leonie I'm hoping to poas next Sunday...the day we're gonna put up our Xmas tree.

I was at a party last night and I was amazed how long I could hold a glass of wine (or an empty one at that!) without people realising! I know the Xmas party season is a challenge, but I wouldn't let that put you off!

So it's nearly December! Who is starting to TTC this month and who's waiting until January? If you're trying this month, when are you expecting to POAS? Here's hoping for some good news for us this month!
